I've seen just about every Coen Brothers movie and liked The Big Lebowski just as much as the others.
how is that even possible, miller's crossing was 100x better than the big lebowski in terms of cinematography, writing, and acting, and a serious man was infinitely more thought provoking. barton fink was better too, but the margin between lebowski and fink is slim also, blood simple was damn good, and my third favorite directorial debut of all time

I fucking hate wannabe film buffs like you who seem to think that just because a movie isn't as popular it isn't as good.

That's probably the most inaccurate statement i've ever heard, and usually i'm the one that contradicts the critics. I'm afraid that that was an incredibly stupid argument to make, considering the big lebowski is INFINITELY more popular than any of the other coen brothers films I mentioned, and I think that it's worse. Nice try kiddie, try again next time with a slightly more relevant response.
lmao... metropolis is one of the most well made films ever created, sorry you can't appreciate expert film making, especially from a master like fritz lang apologies that you're addicted to modern bullshit and can't watch classics like lang's silent films
so sorry for stating my opinion, i didn't say it was a bad movie, i said it bored me specifically
so sorry for stating my opinion, i didn't say it was a bad movie, i said it bored me specifically
actually i'm sorry, i was being pretty elitist. i can understand that a lot of people could find it boring, sound is something we take for granted in cinema and it's probably difficult for a ton of people because we're so used to it
it was already mention but i feel it should be emphasized: a clockwork orange
