Step 1, Master this phrase. "I wish not to be an employee of yours any longer." Step 2, Go to work. Step 3, Approach Boss. Step 4, Repeat said phrase. Step 5, Walk away. What will actually happen Step 1, Master this phrase. "I wish not to be an employee of yours any longer." Step 2, Go to work. Just give your boss a notice that you'll be going in a certain amount of time and be nice about it. Also, this thread is handy if I ever want to leave a job. I got my first job which I love, but don't get paid a lot, though I'm fine with it. Just don't be a dick about it
it's a television not a 'telly' you fucking swine
god damn lol, i doubt you call it a television every time. he calls it a telly, you call it a tv. deal with it
I just quit my job by not turning up for 3/4 weeks in a row. :smug:
Give them 2 week's notice.
Easy. Just stop showing up.
With dignity and pride.
Do nothing bad, just tell them you want to quit. You should not leave a negative impression as this might have an impact on your future.
oh no you have work 2 saturdays a month. /sarcasm. i have to work friday, staurday and sunday every fucking week for the past two years. stop being a fucking baby and man up.
children in africa are dying why are you not helping them and their living conditions are far worse than yours omg just shut up
don't get a job to begin with :smug:
Poop on your bosses desk. Moonwalk out of the office.
sounds like you are being paid to do nothing and you have a problem with that. If it bothers you so much that you get done early then just pester everyone for extra work to do. You might even get a raise if you work hard enough.
People your age are expected to move on quickly. Your employers probably know this.
Do not burn any bridges you will never know when you will meet somone again.
I've been trying to get a job doing what you do for YEARS. Even offering free labor if I could get the experience. I'd be damn grateful.
Give your boss the finger [sp]if he's a man. Otherwise, you can do it literally. :smug: [/sp]

Man, people say previous generations had it rough, but look at this guy. He gets out of bed 3/7 days to get paid for work. This is the toughest generation.
so is the internet
How dare you sir!
Man up and grow a pair. Just tell them that what you're doing isn't helping with your future career plans and that you've decided to change your direction. Trying to make excuses is just petty - you should have enough confidence in yourself to tell them the truth. [editline]8th December 2010[/editline] For the record I work 8 hours a day Monday to Friday and I consider that easy going compared to what some of my mates do.
If the job is making you stressed then find time or a hobby to solve it. Or as Scobby22 put it, give them a polite notice. You could also study at a college for qualifications for a better job but that can be fairly time consuming and boring for someone of your calibre but you could take other interests like becoming a photographer or someone looks after children with a GVP (if you're Scottish that is).
Well at least you not working in Fast Food, it will destroy you....
Well at least you not working in Fast Food, it will destroy you....
I work in the worst fast food chain by far, last night all I did was drink stolen drinks and steal nuggets, right under the eye of my stupid manager.

I think you should give out where you live so if there's someone nearby they can profit off you being a whiny child.
Every time you go to work, clean up the dog shit and replace it with your shit. When they start noticing, It'll take its course from there.
OP
Just quit. You're not going to hurt their feelings.
The clown isn't going to be happy about that.
I work at hungry jacks derp.
