Nice work so far.
Thank you, sir.
[editline]21st December 2011[/editline]
I've created a little donate button for those who would like to endorse me in the making of this project. I'm not getting paid in any other way for this. Please donate if you feel kind. Thanks :)

Looks great, what are the load times like?
Looks great, what are the load times like?
Well, they should be' the same as the normal ones, plus loading an extra ~2kb for the mobile css.
Anyway regarding the argument about the amount of bandwidth required to load the pages on mobile: I think that th people who browse FP on mobile in the first place probably know what they're getting into.
Hey guys, if we made a little donate button to endorse us in the making of this (since we're taking a bit of our time out of our work schedule to work on this), would you buy us a beer?
It looks like Opera mini supports media queries, I just have to fix them up since as of now they all don't work on displays with low pixel densities.

If you make a Opera Mini version, it should target 240x320
By the way which one is the latest version of Android for smartphones? And for tablets?
I can't understand Android's version system.

Ice Cream Sandwich is the latest, but almost everyone is on Gingerbread or Froyo.
The page should now work on screens with smaller resolutions. It'll probably look a bit weird with icons cutting off and text not fitting in the container but I'll work on that soon.
This thread makes me incredibly sad about losing my phone.
Edit: Sorry about the automerge
Oh and it works on Opera!

If anybody would like to test it, the homepage is situated here.
If you can, please post a screenshot of the result of the test on your phone, your phone's screen size (possibly the DPI too), os, version.
Don't worry about the fact that it shows up in normal view even on desktop browsers. It should show up as mobile if viewed on a phone. Please tell me if it doesn't.
It looks fine on my HTC Desire running CM7, but for some reason I can't scroll down. I can click links, so it's still responsive, I just can't scroll.

This happened on my CM7 ZTE Blade, I had to kill the browser, and it worked after that.
Whatever happened to Hexxeh's app? But this is awesome too. Good job, guys
Hexxeh told me that he didn't have time to finish the API he was building and users were exploting it, so he shut down the whole thing.

The API was originally written by compwhizii, I made a couple additions to it, but my unfamiliarity with vBulletin code made it difficult to properly maintain and finish it once compwhizii left.
Looks a lot better than the default theme, even on a (resized) desktop browser :v:
Fuck tha appz
It clips a little on the right on my windows phone. Other than that, looks good.

It's not an app, it's a mobile website.

Have you thought about hiding the address bar? If I remember correctly, it is something simple like "<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable" content="yes" />" on the iPhone..

That only works for users when they add the page to their home and access it from there. I might try to make it work as an app though.

I looked at them when holding the tablet in portrait-style, and they were identical. The mobile site, however, was a bit more compact.
