I really liked the little logo. You should change the XX new posts to just XX, with its little box, or a rounded rectangle.
There's really no way for me to change what it says, I can only edit the graphical aspects of it. Here's the stuff that's done so far:

Home Page [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2951174/iPhone/Photo 23-12-11 20 32 59.png[/t] QR Code of URL:

General Discussion [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2951174/iPhone/Photo 23-12-11 20 32 37.png[/t] QR Code of URL:

Wouldn't even fully load on my SGS running CM7
Here's the new page running on my Galaxy Ace, 3.5 inch screen 320*480
'xx' new posts are an very important feature, and yes, getting rid of the views/replies count was a good idea :-)
Still unable to scroll on Android 2.3.5 Dolphin Browser HD, Motorola Droid Razr
Looks good on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus ( Stock browser, Android 4.0 )
Finely, hope this works out. You beat me to the punch. I was planning on starting this after the new year.
looks good
awaiting android version of this
Did you even read the thread?
Finely, hope this works out. You beat me to the punch. I was planning on starting this after the new year.
Sorry for that :v: [editline]27th December 2011[/editline]
Still unable to scroll on Android 2.3.5 Dolphin Browser HD, Motorola Droid Razr
Try scrolling now, it might be fixed (a friend let me know that I had accidentally left overflow: hidden on the body).
still doesn't scroll
Damn it.
Samsung Galaxy Note, Android 2.3.6. Looking sexy.
Did you even read the thread?
damn it, u ninjad before my edit I thought it was an app for a second
By the way are the links too small/hard to click or are they OK the way they are? Also, on android, when you tilt your device to the side, does the page overflow the screen?
[thumb]http://www.imgur.com/TZmrW.jpg[/thumb] Samsung Galaxy Note, Android 2.3.6. Looking sexy.
FTFY
By the way are the links too small/hard to click or are they OK the way they are? Also, on android, when you tilt your device to the side, does the page overflow the screen?
They're a tad small for what a mobile site should be.
'xx' new posts are an very important feature, and yes, getting rid of the views/replies count was a good idea :-)
It's just dropping the "new posts" that I think would be cool.
It's just dropping the "new posts" that I think would be cool.
As I said earlier, that can't be done.
I can scroll now, and it looks fine but it'd be better if the whole container for that subforum could be clickable
I can scroll now, and it looks fine but it'd be better if the whole container for that subforum could be clickable
That's one of the things that wouldn't work well. [editline]27th December 2011[/editline] I've fixed the scaling issues in safari portrait mode.
As I said earlier, that can't be done.
A bit of JS to do that wouldn't be that bad.
A bit of JS to do that wouldn't be that bad.
I cannot use javascript.
I cannot use javascript.
How can you inject CSS then?
How can you inject CSS then?

By the way, this time we're not coming out with an iPhone app or whatever but we're doing this how it is supposed to be done-through the use of CSS and Media Queries (if you don't know what these things are, have fun looking them up).

How can you inject CSS then?
There's a slight difference between using CSS and Javascript. In CSS you have media queries which perform changes to the page only under certain situations, like when the screen width is less than 768px. Creating responsive code in javascript would require far more work to make sure that the effect it has on the mobile view is not visible on the desktop view. Also, garry has agreed on putting this in "as long as it doesn't fuck with his shit".
Joining the bandwagon of posting what it looks like on various devices: Nexus S Ice Cream Sandwich edition Result: Exactly the fucking same I'm intrigued as to where this is going to go, keep it up!
How does it look on X10 mini, if anyone have a screenie?
To people posting screenshots: if you can/want, please post a screenshot of landscape mode as well, and tell me if the page fits inside the screen fine (hint: it should). [editline]27th December 2011[/editline] Also, how does the page feel? Slow to load/scroll, fast, etc.?
