is there gonna be another meetup? i'd like to come, i am very experienced in these things and have gone to meet facepunchers three times before (hardcorerape, justin case and ashwank/ashweeftfw/whichever of those alts he's on now)
Here's hoping there's no pedophiles lurking on FP. Courage, next meet, come with chain pants.
I didn't read the rest of the thread, so I don't know if it's been said yet.
But guy with makeup looked like maggie gyllenhall
Get a girlfriend, jesus christ
Had one. After a year she went lesbian.
Don't laugh.
And I was part mocking the other posters. She is good looking, but totally not my type.
Clearly I prefer lesbians. :(
it's true, i talk too much
You were one of the more interesting people, sure, your jokes fell flat, but you tried.
Are there any Facepunchers near Dundee, Scotland at all? I feel so lonely.
[editline]09:53PM[/editline]
Also camping is awesome.
I'm near Dundee. :v:
Also, I said it on page 4 and I'll say it again on page 13. I feel sorry for CourageDog in this thread. Fucking creepy people.
I think there will still be a meet in june
If you are meeting in the Lake District in June I might be in Penrith at the time, which is pretty near. Maybe I can stop by your campsite for a few hours and say hi.
it doesn't really matter about age.
Try telling that to the police.

it's hard to make good jokes when the camera's pointing at you, kind of makes you feel awkward so i try and say something that doesn't come out right.
people were funnier when the camera was off, i'm sure people can back me up on that
North-west meetup please. :frown:
Lake district (cumbria) is pretty much north west the way i see things.
Any chance a meetup in Copenhagen in Friday and/or Saturday? I'm coming in Friday and leaving in Saturday :buddy:
But does that have any sort of significant rail links? It's kind of out of the way for easy transport. Newcastle is a massive meeting point for rail links between Scotland and England and is on the main East Coast and Cross Country lines so is relatively quick from any major city.
I don't know if there's a place like that in the actual NW? The NW would probably take even longer for people on the West Coast of Scotland thanks to some messy bays and rail lines which fly right off inland before returning west.

(Massively disproportionate map found on just about every train in the UK to illustrate)
Leeds/Manchester is roughly the same journey time to both Kings Cross and Newcastle. Liverpool is quite a fair bit further for people further North than Newcastle, particularly from the West Coast as it involves either cutting across a minor line or going all the way down the York and then west.
The middle of England-Proximity-ness of Liverpool means that the Reasonable Distance scale way overlaps into people who are just as well getting the train down to the South.
Times are taken from train timetables and not from this map which is basically a fish-eye lense on London.
Let's say it was an entire European meetup, London would be like asking everybody to get their arses to Paris rather than a fair compromise in Austria or something.

Liverpool is probably to are away for the bottom of England, and London is more well known, so there is more to do and more places are recognisable.
Also, when shall the standard June meet up be, and not the camping one.
Tea's a pretty cool guy.
Courage dog, did your conversation with your parents go something like:
"Hey mum, I'm gonna spend today with 7 strangers between the ages of 17 and 22, all of which are male and spend lots of time on the internet. Is that all right?"
"Yeah, okay."
If so, things are WAY different in the UK than in America.
haha no; I told my mom I was going to meet some friends in London, and she said:
'For your birthday?'
'Yup.'
'That's okay then, but remember to text me'
My mother trusts me until, as she says, she has a reason not to
-snippedy snap-

Translation: until you get a boyfriend.

D'aww Hezzy... cute little baby :3
If CourageDog is 13 or 14, how did she convince her parents to let her go hang out with some random guys on the net?
Having a high amount of trust from your parents goes a very long way.
Although in this case that isn't much of a factor, whether they trust her isn't the main factor, whether they trust the people she's with is the real question.
Which in this her parents failed heavily. Not to say anything bad about the people there, since nothing bad actually happened. But it isn't what did happen, it's what could happen, which her parents don't seem to of taken much consideration to.
Guarantee if they saw this thread they probably wouldn't let her go to another one for a long time.

See if your parents think meeting up with people you barely (if you ever did at all) actually know that consist of all guys far older than you at a place your parents wouldn't be able to get to quickly, is the same as meeting up with friends.
While your at it, show them this thread so they know you met them here.
why do you care, if she gets raped she gets raped, no big D.
Perfect pair of posts above ^^
