I used to be in a CS clan back in the CS 1.3 days. Apart from that only got internet when I was 17 or something so I never had the chance.
Very. Some people are clearly still growing out of it though, from what I see.

YuGiOh, Naruto, and Bleach were very big for me when I was a noob. I was straight up weeaboo and I even thought of moving to Japan.
My first thread was a thread asking about links to a map , which you weren't allowed to do. :saddowns:
I was awesome before and after birth. :c00l:
but not inbetween
I used to use txt in normal forums and shit :saddowns:
I w4s sup3r 1337 xD I also used to think 4chan was cool. :ohdear:
My runescape name was ruenescapelovr25
My first PC was from ALDI.
I used to play Adventure Quest a lot and me and my classmates were really into it. We were convinced that when you reached level 100 you would become a legend on their site. Oh, we also tried saving up for Macromedia Flash MX 2004 because we wanted to make animated parodies of Zelda games. My noobish mind somehow got the idea that in order to actually be allowed to buy Flash you would need a written permission from your school principal and send it in with an order. Thank god for bigger siblings in these situations. I also remember the first forum I joined was really just a noobfest but I loved it there. I remember I almost cried when I was given a warning for making a double post. This all happened around the age 10-12.
When I released my first made map here on Facepunch. :downs:
I was awesome before and after birth. :c00l:
I used to post memes as replies once, like here I'd post Ralph. Of course that was back in the time of rickrolls and awesome similes.
i wanted to install cs skins when i was 12 and had no clue how folders and files work in windows, i was pissed also i used to use lol in almost every sentence
lol
I ranted about school at one point.
Wall of text for my online past: Five years ago, I was running a CS 1.6 KA server (The clan was called o[-_-]o, retarded huh?), and playing Runescape. Notably, I was playing 1.6 mods like Superhero mod, Pokemod, and occasionally the Warcraft mods. I was also going under aliases such as Viper, Samurai Knight, Midgetsquid, Squidget, and Dark Knight... Needless to say, I was a pretty stereotypical little kid gamer, always crying about getting "PWN3D". The X-mas before I turned 13 I got my hands on the Source Pack (began mapping at this time, 95% of the maps were easter eggs, however.), and finally started to grow out of all that crap as I found eGO in DOD:S. (Let me pause and say I wholeheartedly cannot stand eGO for a number of reason, but that's beside the point.) However much I disagree with them, they were the first community that led me to realize that saying n00b and Pwnzor wasn't as great as I thought. I then proceeded on to get the orangebox (quitting eGO soon after) and a while later Gmod. From this point, I still leaned toward those unhealthy tendencies, playing DarkRP on the now vanished LA server. I can't say that that was a total disaster though, as I worked out a (half)friendship with the server owner and started tampering with their script to get a VERY basic feel of Lua. Some of the members of the server accepted me pretty well and got me into playing TacoScript at CCZ, where I got an understanding of the Darkside of gmod roleplay, encountering plenty infamous DDoSers and many well known people in this community. LA soon merged into an larger, but inactive community, dC. From there, I was mostly involved with CCZ, finding dC distasteful. dC then became the lovechild of D3, and my friendship with a lot of people was nearly fully cut off. I think this moment was when I almost fully began to detest "noobish" tendencies. I partnered up with a pretty talented friend from CCZ and an idiot from LA when I first began playing Gmod. (A large portion of CCZ now breaks off to form Papa's Planet) From P-P and dC, the three of us get support for our own lovechild community, DamagePlanet, we weren't too successful, however, constantly shifting gamemodes. My talented friend and I were also starting to have issues with the third man, we were wanting serious, involved community, yet he was Co-leading and donated $40 to D3, while leaving our community with nothing. My friend and I decided it would be best to fire him from his position. (This is around when I became an active Facepuncher.) I then assumed co-leading position, but the remnants of the community slowly fell away. My friend and I then decided to bury DP in a coffin and assume the name Loatel Studios, a quaint group he had to show off his video production skills. That has pretty much led up to now, Loatel has purchased its own internet radio station, considered re-entering gmod, and has become somewhat known in the Machinima community. I think that's most of it. Every community shift I've been through has led me to gain a little bit more realization of what the internet is really like. This isn't N00B pwnzor HAX LOLOL land. It's rough-and-tumble, 4chan, Ddos, troll town. Knowing how to get respect on the internet is important. tl;dr Remember G.A.S.: Grammar, Apathy, Skill.
Split that up into paragraphs or some shit, it is hard to read.

I used to play WoW
First thread: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=735349 That video fails so badly, and I thought I was so funny when I made it..
I wouldn't use proper grammar, and would talk lyke dis cuz I waz kewl dood. I made a few videos on Youtube of me playing bf2 that were so shitty. (I'll post if I find.) The list goes on sadly... [editline]08:34PM[/editline] This man however, has not changed.
True that! :buddy:
I used to think "let the bodies hit the floor" was "let the body set the flow". Now I don't give a shit anymore because those songs are overused and no one can ever understand what they are saying sometimes
i became a runescape member for three years. then realized how time wasting the game was and quit. i still cant spell some english words correctly (french origin).
