DUNCANNON, Pennsylvania — A 12-year-old girl was shot and killed by a Pennsylvania state constable during an apartment eviction on Monday, January 11th, WHTM is reporting.
Two adults who decided to solve a confrontation with guns leads to an innocent girl being shot to death. It's a tragic shame that no lessons will be learned from this.
Maybe the guy shouldn't have pointed a gun at the constable?
Why the fuck are you blaming the father? The kid caused her own death by being behind the father, something that's a big no-no ESPECIALLY when she more than likely saw the fucking gun.

She's 12 dude..

yes it's clearly the 12 year old kid's fault because she instinctively hid behind her parent when in a dangerous situation and not the fault of the grown man who was trying to shoot and kill a police officer

This post is so absurd I can't tell whether it's a joke or not...

Lol dude do you think a 12 year old girl would be an expert on gun safety, and that she was thinking straight from all the screaming that was probably going on?
Also I'm pretty sure its a kids instinct to look for safety when shit hits the fan, in her case her parent was the safest place she could think off.
The fact that he had a gun pointed at him to begin with is a central element of this tragedy, and that's why I said two adults, not "so some pig cop decided to..."
except it's not "two adults who decided to solve a confrontation with guns" i mean you make it sound like they pulled up to a table and had a brainstorming session and both decided "yes, guns, this is good"
it's one adult who made a bad decision and received the tragic, disproportionate consequences

Running behind someone like a father is a pretty natural reaction for a 12 year old
Why the fuck are you blaming the father? The kid caused her own death by being behind the father, something that's a big no-no ESPECIALLY when she more than likely saw the fucking gun.
did you think before writing this post?
She's 12 dude..
By the age of 12 they probably have a pretty good idea as to what a gun looks like. They'll probably also have a pretty good idea that you don't want to attack cops, which to them are "the good guys".
This is probably going to devolve into a lot of shit so I'm going to say this one thing: if you want to continue arguing, let's take it to PMs.

I understand there is a no flaming policy but holy shit if this isn't sarcasm you're a fucking psycho

As if it wasn't a shit argument in the first place.

I don't even know what this means, but a child running behind someone they trust like a parent figure is pretty damn normal for pre-teens in a violent situation.

No you obviously didn't think before you posted or don't know what you are talking about

if you can't trust full grown adults to make good, well-reasoned choices in a situation where cops are involved, where do you get off expecting that a 12 y/o girl can do any better?
Why the fuck are you blaming the father? The kid caused her own death by being behind the father, something that's a big no-no ESPECIALLY when she more than likely saw the fucking gun.
Even if it was "her fault", why should she be condemned for it?
The cop technically had some fault to her death too, but it wouldn't be fair to condemn him for not instantly thinking of where he should aim considering he was in the heat of the moment with the dad quickly pulling a gun on him and probably planning to kill him.
Okay, fair, 33% on the cop (but heat of the moment), 33% the father, 33% on that kid.
Done, folks want to take it further, that PMs offer is still open so use it if you want to argue about all the little details.

like i understand that you're starting to rethink what you originally posted but my god if this isn't one of the worst backpedals i've ever seen
[editline]13:37[/editline]
i mean are you sure you don't want to pull out a calculator and take into account the speed and direction of the wind on that particular day and compute the degree to which the weather can be held morally responsible? i'm farily certain that that influenced the bullet's trajectory enough to where it may not have killed the girl otherwise
wickedplayer494 has a history of saying women deserve violent fates because it's their own faults
we could derail the whole thread or you could report his posts and move on

I'm pretty sure it's the fathers fault for showing off his gun on 2 cops doing their job. I'm 99.9% sure that the cops were not aiming for the girl but aiming for not being killed themselves, and trying to enforce the law.
What does it even serve to point out it's the "kids fault"? It's on her father.

If I was 12 I would have just pulled some CoD skills I mastered!

victim blamming.
Not sure if its because you're a battle hardened guy from trashcona or something, but a kid hiding behind their parent when shit goes down is kinda a natural instinct
I had a long comment typed out but removed it because it would walk the rules pretty close.
I'll just leave it at: Its unfortunate that the girl died because of the actions of her father. The constable must feel beyond terrible knowing that his reaction to a real threat of death resulted in an unintentional death of a young female. Wickedplayer is wrong in his posts for even trying to blame the girl, or constable, for the female's death.

I mean, I always have really low expectations for your posts.. But this is just a new level of stupid man.

More like 20% cop, 78% father, and 2% little girl, the father was the one who pulled out the gun and instigated everything, the constable was defending himself like he's supposed to, and the girl was there because she was probably scared as fuck and wanted to see what was happening.
Not like your gonna ever reply to the PMS anyway because you know your in the wrong, and can't backpedal out of it.
The girl is not at fault in the slightest. You can't expect a 12 year old to act rationally in what would have been an extremely intense situation, when not even the adults could be rational.
