The emo Peter Parker scene that plays James Brown music in Spiderman 3 is the best part of the movie, and may be the greatest scene of any superhero movie
I am not excited for the DC Cinematic Universe and I have no high hopes for it.
Me neither, optimistic for the series that come from it tho as Daredevil is the best Superhero thing I've seen on screen
Twitch is horrible. Watching a past broadcast is nigh impossible because of the crap load time and watching a live stream isn't possible given my time zone. I'd honestly prefer people just use Youtube or something.
I just don't see the appeal in watching a livestream of someone playing a game in general tbf. I'll watch youtube lets plays and stuff but do not see how a livestream could be fun to watch.
I remember when they made fun of Nostalgia Critic's lets play of Bart's Nightmare. Man, they tore him a new asshole. Even watching with their commentary it was a pain to sit through.
That one was a really good retsupurae. Here's the problem I have with them though: There's a lot of videos where they're ripping on the guy before anything in the video occurs, causing their commentary to flood over the actual content. Then when the actual content is going on, they're hardly paying attention to it because they're busy talking about nothing. By the time the first actual joke about the content is made, it's sub-par and unfunny. At the same time, they also have some brilliant videos, but that's a small few of a shitty bunch.
Dance pads > Kinect
The common, yet technically incorrect usage of the word "literally" doesn't bother me at all. I think language is capable of evolution and is defined by the people that speak it, and if so many people use it that way, then it might as well be correct. In fact, I find people who are excessively pedantic about language to be far more annoying.
I dunno, when words begin to mean the exact opposite of their definition it kinda bothers me. It makes me literally want to kill somebody.
Semantic change isn't abnormal, it's a part of languages and their evolution. [editline]19th May 2015[/editline] my favorite is "sad". used to mean that you were satisfied or content.
I just don't see the appeal in watching a livestream of someone playing a game in general tbf. Though delays make the former a problem and it requires you watching it on the streamer's schedule too which can be an issue.

I generally watch someone depending on the game I play. Ex. if I play Path of Exile I have a Path of Exile stream open on my second monitor. Also shit like AGDQ/SGDQ is just plain awesome.
Sam and Max: The Devil's Toybox is Telltale's best game so far

To me its just like watching a reality tv show involving games. Like Big Brother but watching someone else play a game live. I suppose if they are funny or give you really good tips whilst doing a walkthrough then thats great, i just prefer watching an edited video on youtube with the best bits.
I liked The Sims 3
Season five of Game of Thrones has been kinda slow so far.
game of thrones is slowly losing viewers. third time (in a row) that this seasons episode has had less viewers than the same episode number from the previous season. before this season every season of game of thrones had more viewers than the last. i think after the [sp]rape[/sp] we're slowly going to see game of thrones die.
Any time you make a moral decision, you should always be more cautious of the more pleasurable option. Since it is more pleasurable, you are liable to subconsciously bias yourself in favor of it. Not to say that I agree with the least pleasurable option with regard to all of these, it's hard to find someone who believes more than a few of the items on this list: * Not using adblock is better than (pleasurable) using adblock * Not pirating music is better than (pleasurable) pirating music * Donating to charity is better than (pleasurable) not donating to charity * Not smoking weed is better than (pleasurable) smoking weed * Not using pornography is better than (pleasurable) using pornography * Not playing video games is better than (pleasurable) playing video games * Waiting until marriage is better than (pleasurable) having sex now * Tipping at a restaurant is better than (pleasurable) not tipping Or at least "acceptable" is not "better than". I think people too often notice which option would be more pleasurable to have a moral defense for, and then immediately construct a moral defense. This isn't necessarily to say that they're intentionally misleading others. They've misled themselves.
I see no point of needing a cell phone
I only go on facepunch on my phone [editline]20th May 2015[/editline]
Season five of Game of Thrones has been kinda slow so far.
I wouldn't say its been slow. I mean [sp]quite a few people have already died[/sp]. I think it just feels slower because of how fast season 4 kicked off
Boot camp was fun.
I wouldn't say its been slow. I mean [sp]quite a few people have already died[/sp]. I think it just feels slower because of how fast season 4 kicked off
It's a well known fact that even the fans of the series admit that the main story doesn't progress at all no matter how many books are published: the main beef of the saga is about several characters suffering or dishing out one atrocious act after another with no end in sight, and the ones who actually survive the day can die and regret they survived that long later
I can relate to that. I personally don't mind the fuss and the noise on the streets. But things get out of control very easily when it comes to football in this country...
Exactly! Then the riots break out and shit gets tossed around... Theres also that cop who beat up those 2 guys (a father and a grandfather) right in front of their kids for talking back at them but apparently also in a grudge kind of way because of their club. It brings out the bad every now and then.

Like there's nothing wrong with people saying "I've told you this a million times" as a hyperbole, but I wouldn't want "several" to become an accepted definition of million.
boyce avenue does the lamest, most uninspired covers on youtube

The common usage of a word dictates its meaning anyway.
Facecams in Let's plays. I like facecams. But only when it's done right. If you dont talk to your audience, and instead just say whatever you're thinking, then a facecam is pointless. And if you actively talk to your audience, then a facecam is fucking great. I dont know the words for it, but it gives a sense of.. presence, i guess. Its more like watching a friend play a game, sitting next to him than just.. spying on someone playing a game and hearing their thoughts.

Just because it happens to be 'tradition' doesnt really mean that I think the birthday unbans are a good idea. Some people are so bad they really dont deserve any second chances.
Just because it happens to be 'tradition' doesnt really mean that I think the birthday unbans are a good idea. Some people are so bad they really dont deserve any second chances.
It doesn't really do any harm though, they just get banned soon after anyway
It doesn't really do any harm though, they just get banned soon after anyway
Quite a few of them manage to stay around for awhile despite still being just as awful simply because they're not technically breaking any rules.
When was the last time a birthday unbanning happened? Wasn't it years ago or have I just been living under a rock?
2013 was the last one
I liked The Sims 3
That really isnt an unpopular opinion lol. Everybody loves/loved Sims 3. (well.. when it finally got some content) A good 90% of people hate Sims 4 though (until it finally gets some content, then they might like it again)
