Garry's birthday unban, in hindsight, is a terrible idea. I mean so many shit posters are shitting right now, the FP piping is going to break.
I was having a shit when I read this, Also its not a "terrible" idea, some people really do benefit from it
I was habing a shit when I read this, Also its not a "terrible" idea, some people really do benefit from it
Of course the users themselves are going to benefit (EG you) but I don't see how it would benefit anyone else.
Of course the users themselves are going to benefit (EG you) but I don't see how it would benefit anyone else.
well the good users (EG me) will learn from their mistakes and just enjoy this place with everyone. Obviously then you get the shit heads back which no one wants and I understand that
Garry's birthday unban, in hindsight, is a terrible idea. I mean so many shit posters are shitting right now, the FP piping is going to break.
It isn't a bad idea for the most part since it does allow users who might improve a second chance but there needs to be a way to flag alts and certain users to prevent them from being affected by the mass unbanning. This sort of thing all too often seems to result in morons such as Moo having most of their alts unbanned and giving them months worth of backup accounts to the point where he still wasn't out of alts when this unbanning took place.
well the good users (EG me)
Did you really just say that about yourself? That's pretty ugly.
Obviously then you get the shit heads back which no one wants and I understand that
How ironic.
Did you really just say that about yourself? That's pretty ugly.
Yeah I like to think im not like users like pnukup [editline]27th May 2015[/editline] At least Im not using an alt ey dub
At least I didn't get banned again dub
At this rate I wouldn't hold your breath on it staying that way. There are some people who learned their lesson, some people who didn't really deserve a perma to begin with (Crash), but for the most part when someone gets permabanned it's long coming.
Yeah I like to think im not like users like pnukup [editline]27th May 2015[/editline] At least Im not using an alt ey dub
I'm only using an alt because I don't go by the name Dub anymore. You're really clueless if you think that your posts are all fine and dandy. You tried to snip "at least I didn't get banned again" but that didn't work, and it doesn't even make any sense.
It's probably been said before but I find that GTAV is a painfully average game which makes it exceedingly boring. I can't name a single thing which it does better than any other open world game, infact it does almost everything worse than Just Cause 2 does, the weapons and the vehicles are worse than JC2's, the world is smaller(iirc) and there's less variation in it and it's far less destructible. Sure there's lots of mini games and side missions in GTA V but there's no point to doing any of them. The multiplayer in GTA V is so poorly streamlined and obviously designed by Rockstar to milk the players for money that I'm surprised that people like it. I can't see the fun in spawning into a random world filled with only a handful of other people who spend all their time trying to kill each other. Can someone please explain to me the appeal of GTA V because I literally cannot understand all the praise this game gets for being completely unremarkable in every field.
I like both games but GTA V's world has less variation than JC2's? What???
Yeah I like to think im not like users like pnukup [editline]27th May 2015[/editline] At least Im not using an alt ey dub
calm your tits and learn to get along with dub, or put him on your ignore list if you care so much. He has improved as a poster since his unban, most of us will agree to it. And I'd be careful about taking snipes at people as well.
It's painfully obvious that most of the people behind the circumcision circlejerk in SH really need to see a therapist about their sexual frustration.
I'm not exactly sure what that means. [editline]27th May 2015[/editline] Oh yeah I see now, I don't see why being anti circumcision means you're sexually frustrated.
Handsome Squidward is actually pretty damn handsome.
I'm not exactly sure what that means. [editline]27th May 2015[/editline] Oh yeah I see now, I don't see why being anti circumcision means you're sexually frustrated.
Talking more about these kinds of posts
If they could've chopped the penis in half, they probably would have. Problem is that kind of fucks up the ability of a man to impregnate women, so cutting off the skin to make it more difficult for a man to reach orgasm without a vagina or similar substitute would do. Female circumcision is far easier for the nutjobs, because the clitoris does not serve a critical role during coitus. Every time you defend your lack of foreskin for your own self-esteem, you contribute to sustaining a society where little children's genitals are mutilated at an age where they cannot even understand what's going on.
When you're that delusional about it, and keep bringing up sexual performance despite there being no substantiated evidence to suggest it even affects that, it's pretty obvious that you're taking such a hard on stance (no pun intended) because you have some personal issues that you need to work out.

His second paragraph is true too. People defend circumcision because "it's cleaner" or "well I'm circumcised and I can reach orgasm just fine", which is completely besides the point. People who are vehemently opposed to child circumcision are so because they're opposed to performing cosmetic surgery on newborns. It's only accepted in our society because of religion/tradition, otherwise it would be considered horrifying child abuse.
Non-STEM degrees are worthless.
Non-STEM degrees are worthless.
are you saying that my english degree isn't going to be applicable in the real world?!
You have to be a special kind of snobbish to think that non-STEM degrees are worthless.
It's not a unpopular opinion if people agree with you.
Non-STEM degrees are worthless.
Even degrees that aren't great at getting a super high paying job can still have great value. Actually afaik, as soon as you're able to provide for yourself and can afford some occasional luxuries, money stops making you happier.
Saying that non-STEM degrees are worthless is ignorant and laughable.
Looper was a good movie
I like Ron Paul. I don't want him to be president, though. He just seems like a guy that would be interesting to talk to.
Saying that non-STEM degrees are worthless is ignorant and laughable.
I legitimately don't understand how you could disagree with this, life isn't just physics and engineering. There's far more to it than that, there are many, many other important things to study for the good of humanity that don't fall under STEM.
Non-STEM degrees are worthless.
Yea man culture and its preservation are useless. Who needs history anyways?

They're pursuing what they love even though they know they likely won't get any monetary return out of it. I'm just glad I was born with the love of something that happens to have great value to society, in the form of large paychecks.

I'm a scientist in the field of linguistics but it's not like generative grammar is going to save humanity.
Physics isn't the only science. I'm a scientist in the field of linguistics but it's not like generative grammar is going to save humanity.
It's not about saving humanity man, it's about preserving and expanding humanity's knowledge base. And yeah, linguistics is a huge part of that - much like what I want to do is (Archeology).
