tbh i've always been more interested in the pre-war fallout universe than the actual world we interact with
It's supposed to be a pastiche. (It's supposed to look bad.)
no, things are either good or bad, no room for your pistache
I can understand this. Do you do it because vanilla just feels "official"?
In a way, yeah.
While on Fallout. People saying that there should be a Fallout, that takes place outside of America are missing the point of Fallout.
They are, though. There are people who are literally decided to buy the game or not based on the 3 minute preview we got.
How do you know? They can still change their minds.
People are generally too negative about everything now
Its the internet, one of the most negative places on earth.
Game Of Thrones is not actually that interesting.
Game Of Thrones is not actually that interesting.
Kind of agree, its like Walking Dead now, I just watch it because i've kind of just committed to watching it, im not that interested in it at all anymore.
I don't see how Fallout is generic apocalypse. The only major example of a fully realized apocalyptic setting I can think of is the Mad Max movie. Fallout is obviously influenced by Mad Max, but those two entities seem to be the trend setters. Plus, the whole retro-futurism scifi makes Fallout's apocalypse unique.
I don't think the land in Fallout is in a dire enough state to be a full on Apocalypse.

You're blatantly wrong and you prove you basically pay zero attention to any of the lore.
Game Of Thrones is not actually that interesting.
I still find the universe pretty nice. I like it a lot.
It's supposed to be a pastiche. (It's supposed to look bad.)
I love pistachios
Between the show and the books, I much prefer the GoT books so far. I couldn't get into the show, but the book is pretty neat.
Completely lost steam in GoT halfway through season 2. The episodes are still lingering there, but I just never got around to watching them. I've been thinking of starting over and binging now that I at least have some appreciation for it from a writing standpoint
So like, if you became a millionaire and could buy any car you wanted, why would you want to buy an enclosed-coupe instead of a roadster or at the least a convertible coupe? I remember reading an opinion piece on a motoring site not too long ago about what each of the journalists on the site would buy if they could buy anything. Porsche Caymans, Falcon XR6 Utes, but no roadsters. Then if you ask random people they might say stuff like the Nissan GT-R, Lexus LFA or Audi R8 coupe. Shit if I can buy any car I wanted, I'd get one where I can enjoy a nice summer's day or whenever to the most, not stuck in a dark, noise-deadened cabin. And it's not like those cars couldn't be used on bad days either as many have retractable hardtops. So at the top of my list would be stuff like the Ferrari California, Audi R8 spyder or Porsche Boxster (911 cabrio looks funny). [editline]5th June 2015[/editline] But saying that I would still have a sensible every-day car such as a Subaru Impreza or Holden Commodore.
i prefer raisins over chocolate chip i have been called out a shocking number of times for this

I think that Bernie Sanders is an overhyped politician that's going to be a deja vu experience of Obama.
i like amiibos
I think that Bernie Sanders is an overhyped politician that's going to be a deja vu experience of Obama.
If he were to become President, very few of his policies would ever become law. He'd have to contend with a Republican-dominated Senate and even if the Democrats won the House, he'd have to compromise to deal with even the moderate Democrats. America needs a President who is in the centre, not to the left of everyone else.
I think that Bernie Sanders is an overhyped politician that's going to be a deja vu experience of Obama.
You could argue the overhype thing if you wanted to. But a deja vu? Obama is pretty much on the right wing of the political spectrum, he supports interventionism, and supported extending the bush tax cuts. Unless you mean a president who has a very uncooperative congress, then I guess sure.
I also think that Fallout is a generally boring game series with heavily repetitive scenery and nothing remarkably interesting enough to be worth hyping about
I also think that Fallout is a generally boring game series with heavily repetitive scenery and nothing remarkably interesting enough to be worth hyping about
You're wrong Fallout is best game

Everyones bitching about the steam controller not having rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable controllers are literally the worse because when they die the first thing I have to do is scrounge up a charger cable from a bin which is more tangled than gods fucking pubic hairs and then when I find the goddamn cord I have to wait for it to charge or sit right in front of the fucking TV because good fucking luck finding a charger cord thats longer than two or three feet. Or you can just slap in a couple AA batteries and not worry for quite some time. You can go on amazon and pick up AA batteries for thirty cents a fucking battery in packs ranging from 48 batteries to over a hundred so don't complain about batteries costing "too much" if you're going to be buying a fifty dollar controller to be used in Steam Big Picture Mode™ which works about as well as using a sponge to clean up an oil spill.
