Max Payne 3 was a really good game in terms of gameplay, technology and a few levels ( The New York ones ) but a really shitty effort in terms of plot, characters and pretty much everything else.
God of War III was a huge letdown and I do believe it's the reason the series died shortly after
Well, my unpopular opinion is that it's the best in the series!
Imagine a starry eyed me playing God of War on a next gen console. Man, that was the coolest. I'm biased as fuck baby
[editline]29th June 2015[/editline]
Also lemme add that the series didn't die - it just ended. No need to milk the series for all it's worth; the story arc ended, and therefore the series. I liked that; didn't played the weird prequel they made though.

I honestly have never understood the appeal of a woman's ass. I don't understand why men are attracted to it when there are so many objectively better and overall less disgusting features (hips, boobs, waistline, legs, pussy, etc.)

"Disgusting" is highly subjective. Remember, there are people who want to lick a lady's asshole more then anything else. Sounds pretty damn gross to me and you, but for them, it's a dream come true.
Tumblr is Facepunch's trigger word and that's ludicrously hypocritical
Metal Gear Solid 4 is a really good movie.
The only good deus ex game is the original.

That game was all about the soundtrack and the move where you break their legs.

Apparently Euphoria was badly received, so they pretty much removed it in V and rely 99% on animations and ragdolls. That's why when a car bumps you, you don't stumble, you either slide or fall over.
Just another example of whiny babies ruining nice things.

A trigger is something that gives you terrifying flashbacks or panic attacks, not something that makes you mildly upset.

Well, there are some people here who seem to have that reaction whenever something progressive gets mentioned. :v:
Rush is shit because Geddy Lee's voice gives me cancer
And no their godly instrumental work does not make up for it

No there aren't. I've had one before, they're not actually very fun. I thought I was dying and I didn't know why.

My stepdad had a panic attack when the loan for buying our house was finalizing and we all thought he was having a heart attack.
Nah, Really, The new Deus ex games are missing the point. The first game was about real issues that are relevant now, Like how over 90% of the worlds wealth is owned by less than one percent, How large corperations would create systems to keep the class divide and destroy anything that can bridge it.
HR on the other hand
Media manipulated heavily? Yes, but they make it so obvious and unbelievable that it just doesn't hit. Many of us are pretty wary of fox news, but fox actually put up a good show of deception and rhetoric. Picus is just shit. (also, Picus was an ancient italian figure who got messages from the gods by birdwatching, had a nymph for a wife, and got turned into a bird by a witch. Basically the name is related to a bullshit story)
Augs took our jobs? Who has jobs?
The machines are dangerous? Anyone with a brain and the slightest knowledge of technology could tell that it was human error that's at fault here.
Sequel: Second apartheid? No. They're actually calling it 'apartheid' too. Double no.
Also, The original game made every side look justified. The jensen games are just giving you an obvious good and evil. It's so heavy handed about it too.
Also. i kind of like that 90's/early 00's future dystopia vibe. Cybernetic enchancements were ghastly things and most new things were built around the stuff built before the millennium. The jensen games just makes everything look new, shiney, and often overdesigned (square enix being square enix)

My biggest issue with Max Payne 3 is that the bullet time isn't as good as it was in Max Payne 2. In 3 it's just a means of slowing everything down so you can aim more accurately, or used for cinematic moments.
In Max Payne 2 bullet time was a fully fledged mechanic. Killing enemies in bullet time extended your bullet time. For every enemy you killed in bullet time time moved slower. For every kill after a certain point in bullet time Max got faster, to the point where if you played well Max was basically a speed demon moving through frozen time.

that's just a different take on it, not necessarily a better or worse one
They even gave better feedback in Max Payne 2 for bullet time. The further into bullet time you got the more warped the edges of the screen became (but it was never intrusive), and the screen would slowly tint yellow, as well as the bullet time meter becoming a heavier yellow the deeper you got.
Max Payne 3's multiplayer bullet time was fantastic though.

There are tons of third person shooters with a bland as fuck bullet time mode. Max Payne 2 expanded on the idea greatly, it still worked like any other bullet time if you just wanted to slow down time fore a slow mo dive into a room or something, it just allowed you to do more. Max Payne 3 threw it all out the window for standard "Everything is slowed down except your aiming" which is overplayed and boring.
Katt Williams and Kevin Hart are terrible comedians whose only gimmicks are shortness and loudness
They're the Blue Collar Comedy Group for "cool" kids
Kevin Hart is pretty fantastic IMO. His skit on Shaq had me rolling.
Root beer is super gross
Kevin Hart is pretty funny on occasions.
Bo Burnham, now that's a comedian I can not stand.
I'm let down by so many current artists who write music that's supposedly more interesting or thoughtful than the popular shit that gets bashed for being repetitive and meaningless.
Obviously there's too many bands out there to not find something I'd like, it's just weird because I grew up with many musical friends who were influenced by the same music that I was, and I don't understand what they see in any of the current bands they listen to.
Final Fantasy 13 wasn't that bad, I actually enjoyed grinding. FF 13-2 was forgettable but the third one, OH THE THIRD ONE. Fuck that fucking. I couldn't even play it. I had no clue what was going on, what I was supposed to be doing, and when I did do stuff it was boring as fuck all.
Final Fantasy 12 is the most fun one, to me. I'm a sucker for all the games set in Ivalice, though.
Brussel sprouts taste fine, especially with some gravy
I feel like people sensationalize smoking too much. Yes, smoking is shit for you, the cigarette industry is shit and exploitative and it is itself exploitative and designed to be addictive.
...But I don't think you're going to die from second hand smoke. I guess it's because I grew up in the south where people don't give a shit, but, you're not gonna get lung cancer because someone smoked vaguely near you. I think children might be a health risk for sure, but an adult? You'll be fine.

The stuff you breath in while smoking is the same stuff you blow out into others peoples faces. It should go without saying that the stuff you're breathing in and out is horribly unhealthy.
If we let smokers smoke anywhere they'd be smoking in public buildings, restaurants, hospitals and lineups.
