Canada needs to adopt the British term "handegg"
I genuinely liked Frozen, I mean, it wasn't amazing or anything like that, but it was decent enough for what it was.
Eh, I thought it was alright. Nothing to get obsessed over but it was a well done film. The people that really shit on it only do so because it got a huge wave of obnoxious fans.
Daft Punks stuff like Technologic, Around The World, Harder Better Faster Stronger is brilliant. Their new stuff sounds really boring to me.
What's brilliant about them? They're just dull
Daft Punks stuff like Technologic, Around The World, Harder Better Faster Stronger is brilliant. Their new stuff sounds really boring to me.
I like their new stuff more than their old stuff (but I still love their older stuff)
I genuinely liked Frozen, I mean, it wasn't amazing or anything like that, but it was decent enough for what it was.
Frozen was, and is, nothing more than a poorly structured fairy tale with little momentum and no antagonist. It's fun, sure, but it's nowhere near as well written as the Disney films of yore.
Mortal Kombat X is the best MK game
I don't understand how anyone can put several hundred hours into such a repetitive, grindy game with so little content.
Like 80% of my time has been spent playing with 2 close friends, if you play with friends it's actually a lot of fun to play the PvP and endgame PvE content. It also helps that I've been playing since release. The complaints about it having too little content is absolutely justified, I don't enjoy solo play all that much but playing in a group is a blast. That being said, I also play shitty, grindy MMOs like Maplestory so maybe I just like hating myself
Disclaimer: I strongly believe in global warming. If global warming is true, and we don't do anything about it, there will be severe consequences. If global warming is not true, and we enact sweeping changes, there will be severe consequences. (Don't pretend this isn't the case.) There is a big goddamn question in "Is global warming true?" and while I am strongly convinced that it is, there are too many people who are convinced that it is not, or are not sure. So we need to change our strategy, to one that focuses less on "find more evidence!" because we have so much and it clearly isn't working, and more on finding why people don't believe in global warming, and changing their minds.
How come the big oil companies can't just jump onto selling the alternatives to oil? They have enough money.
How come the big oil companies can't just jump onto selling the alternatives to oil? They have enough money.
It costs more.
Daft Punks stuff like Technologic, Around The World, Harder Better Faster Stronger is brilliant. Their new stuff sounds really boring to me.
Please explain to me whats so brilliant about Around the World. HBFS is a great song and I can get behind Technologic but I can't see why anyone would like such a boring song
How come the big oil companies can't just jump onto selling the alternatives to oil? They have enough money.
Why do companies complain about the minimum wage when they pay CEO's millions? Some things will never be understood. Wait.. they're just assholes.
i think everyone that posts in fast threads sucks
Please explain to me whats so brilliant about Around the World. HBFS is a great song and I can get behind Technologic but I can't see why anyone would like such a boring song
It's much better with the music video The video itself is pretty cool and it only lasts 4 minutes so you don't get bored that much
i think everyone that posts in fast threads sucks
um
um
that's the joke
Do any australians here know of the greatness that is the chiko roll? Why don't they have that everywhere? Why are so few foods international? It makes me actively upset that I probably haven't tasted the food that i would like most in the world If I had the money i'd travel the world just to eat everyone's food. It's the best reason for travel.
THT[WRATH;48149589']Frozen was, and is, nothing more than a poorly structured fairy tale with little momentum and no antagonist.
How come the big oil companies can't just jump onto selling the alternatives to oil? They have enough money.
For an oil company selling oil, that is total corporate suicide. Alternative energy is barely profitable as it is and such a sharp U-turn in business practice will cause share price to plummet. Company is dead. Not big soup-rise
that's the joke
Wasn't a very obvious joke.
Wasn't a very obvious joke.
is this a joke? because that was obvious, this isn't
Wasn't a very obvious joke.
yes it was
We already know that, because the rich people run coal industries and etc. that would really get hurt if we did these "sweeping" changes. They also delve into politics, and people are also really stupid. Add it all together, mindless idiots holding a wrong opinion. What consequences could come out of it if it is not true? I can't think of any off the top of my head.

coal industries and etc. that would really get hurt if we did these "sweeping" changes"
You can't sweep the decline of an industry under the rug. I will not deny that there would be positive outcomes if we enact sweeping global warming regulations, if global warming turns out not to be a problem anyway. But there would be negative things too. Any regulation, one of whose motives turns out to not matter, is a misguided regulation. When you pretend that any environmentalist law is a perfect godsend with no consequences, you alienate the people who don't believe in global warming, which is counterintuitive to the strategy I mentioned earlier. You're not going to win any over that way.
We don't need big oil companies though. They contribute nothing good. And no, Charity doesn't count when you size it up with the amount of money they take. The more rich people there are, the more poor. (at least till we develop glorious socialist practices) Main point though: We don't need oil companies.
We don't need big oil companies though. They contribute nothing good.
Except you know, fueling the entirety of modern society.
Except you know, fueling the entirety of modern society.
Not just that, but we need the petrochemical industry for 95% of our resins, plastics, some drugs like aspirin, antiseptics, and any other polycarbonates - acetic acid, ethanol, you name it.
I watched Tim Burton's Batman Returns for the first time the other day, and like the rest of his movies I'm just not a fan. So I suppose my unpopular opinion is I don't understand why everyone has a boner for his movies. Also I don't know who the movie was supposed to be targeted at, in one way it seems like it's supposed to be a kids movie, but in another way it's dark and then there's sexualised as fuck catwoman.
Canada needs to adopt the British term "handegg"
Ive literally never heard of that term before lol.
Ive literally never heard of that term before lol.
It's not really 'British' but it's a popular pisstake name for American Football because it's not played with the foot really, and it's not a ball. It's played with your hands, and it's more of an egg shape.
Rock/Metal/Punk/Post-Hardcore/Screamo/Pop-Punk covers of Pop songs CAN be so much better than their original version, only when done right with the same beat but just done in the bands style. There are still a lot of shit covers out there but thats when they don't follow the "MATCH THE BEAT IN STYLE OF [insert bands style]" rule.
