I find it hilarious when tumblrites complain about the WH40k universe not being inclusive, when it's not even meant to be about that. Tumblrites will whine and complain, moan and groan about "where's the inclusion for x, y, and z characters???" when it's not even about that. The 40k universe is basically every major race/faction trying to convert one another and/or purge each other, and then actually purge each other again. The lore is ridiculous, and is nothing close to being PC.
"B-but what about genderqueer/genderfluid characters!" - They'd be viewed as mutants/xenos or Chaos-afflicted, and exterminated by the Imperium, but likely be accepted by Chaos (Slaanesh). If that was the case, then they'd probably complain about why only those x/y/z characters would be accepted by Chaos, rather than the Imperium.
"But what about female IG or space marines?" - Some third party companies have been making plastic female IG units for a bit now, and in the lore there are very few female IG regiment. There aren't any female space marines due to some silly thing with the lore which is chalk full of technobabble explaining why there can only be male space marines. But that shouldn't even be an issue because there are the Sisters of Battle, which is basically a legion of Wonder Women. They aren't genetically modified for years and years in order to become human tanks, they are quite literally female super soldiers. Isn't that empowering at all? The Adeptus Sororitas only need the rigorous training, and then they can kick as much ass and purge as many xenos as any space marine chapter ever could.
"But what about the gay/lesbian characters?" - ANY hints of gender identity/sexual thought are virtually destroyed in the minds of any Imperium soldier during their training. They quite literally become organic machines destined to fight for the Emperor and spread His will through bullets, conquest, and xeno genocide. Besides, even if characters in 40k were open about their sexual orientation (or gender identity, as mentioned earlier) they'd either be seen as being corrupted by Chaos, or be executed for some degree of "perversion". I'm not even sure if anyone actually has sex in order to procreate in 40k, everyone's probably a test tube baby.
"But what about x skin color people? Where are they?" - I think I remember reading somewhere that in 40k, the Emperor preferred white people over all, since he considered them genetically pure. It really is something extreme and racist as that, but whatever. I think there are only maybe 2 chapters of the SM that aren't white (Salamanders and the White Scars).
There's so much more I could add to this, but I wouldn't want anyone to assume that I'm trying to protect "my precious" lore or anything. It's nothing to do with my ego or anything else ridiculous to that degree, it's just that the 40k universe is not meant to be nice or decent, it would actually be a horrid place to live in, regardless of what race/faction you were part of. To even be human in it would mean you'd either be cannon fodder or corrupted by Chaos.
In short: As much as I am in support of inclusion, diversity, and open-mindedness in entertainment, Warhammer is the wrong place to look for that.
And the Imperium is the worst fucking example for anything if you want ~exclusivity~, they are literally space Nazis whose entire purpose is to conquer the galaxy and kill everything that isn't human while they literally worship a fucking skeleton.
If anything, the only pure-hearted characters in the entirety of the Warhammer 40k universe are the fucking Tyranids and they're just fucking hungry-hungry Xenos.

Truly only the Tau are inclusive, and only because of the same reasons as the Imperium or Chaos: They want to conquer the galaxy through fire and steel.

Reminds me of the criticism of sexism in the witcher 3. Just because something is fiction doesn't mean it has to be a perfect all-inclusive world.
I don't like his videos, but there is nothing wrong with Pewdiepie or the content he makes and the lengths people go to justify hating him are absurd and childish.

And no, Charity doesn't count when you size it up with the amount of money they take. The more rich people there are, the more poor. (at least till we develop glorious socialist practices)
Main point though: We don't need oil companies.
you're still pretending there will be zero negative outcomes, and alienating the people who don't believe in global warming.
Why don't you try this on the West Virginian coal miners?
We can basically agree that Tumblr is a cesspool of a website and most certainly NOT a place where you should look for good debates
I joined it only to find myself some fap material, but it turned out it's not that useful even for that

It's somewhat like reddit in the sense that there's some good content there, but you have to follow the right people (or join the right subs) to get it.

not much more of a cesspool than here

Nearly every place on the internet is a cesspool, but Tumblr's pool definitely smells worse than this one.

Not true, there are several instances of procreation within the Imperial guard regiments, Gaunts Ghosts for example, or Eisenhorn.
Also the Imperium doesn't give a shit about your sexual orientation, as long as you worship the Emperor.

Actually from what I remember the Emperor didn't care about skin colour, in fact a great deal of the Imperium is FULL of all kinds of colourful humans, red humans, blue, black, and more, most from genetic mutations or because of the planet they live on, hell the Emperor himself during the Great Crusade allowed Abhumans to join his ranks and fight for the Imperium of Man.
For an example on the different colours of humanity, there's a book called Sons of Dorn, and the recruits they take up to become Neophytes of the Imperial Fists are all from different worlds and have an extreme variety of skin colours, some being way past the spectrum of normal human coloring.
To return to the topic of the Emperor being racist, one of the Emperors sons is RED for godsake, I mean most of what you say, I do agree with you, but damn did you get a few things wrong.
I actually really liked Quantum of Solace.
I view Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace as one whole film together, it's more complete and makes sense. QoS was basically just an extension of Casino. I thought Skyfall was cool design and cinematography-wise but the plot felt flat and lackluster somewhat compared to the two previous films.

skyfall had a pretty basic, somewhat cliche plot, but i thought delving into M and Bonds relationship as well as the fantastic villain is what carried it content-wise
filmmaking-wise its a fucking masterpiece
Personally I feel as though none of the modern bond movies have managed to top Casino Royale as the best one.
Skyfall was actually a pretty boring standard fair but alright and sometimes brilliant in a few places and Quantum of Solace was... Well I have the same opinion for both films really, they both had some great moments, but nothing really went over to the level Casino Royale managed to hit.
Hopefully the next movie manages to really take it home.
I've never seen a collector's edition of a game that actually looks worth paying $100+ for.
Fallout 4 will be shit and anyone hyping over it is licking Tod Howard's foot.
Fallout 4 will be shit and anyone hyping over it is licking Tod Howard's foot.
How do you even know? This is just as dumb as people saying a game is going to be 10/10 before playing it
I'm expecting Fallout 4 to be fun to play and I can see myself having a great time in it... but also that it'll be a mediocre RPG with an awful story.

You're not special.
I'm going to decide whether or not I'm going to buy Fallout 4 after it's released and I've seen some reputable reviews. I don't get why this is so hard for people, or for that matter how this bizarre preorder hype culture which basically only exists in games even became as big a thing as it is.
I'm expecting Fallout 4 to be fun to play and I can see myself having a great time in it... but also that it'll be a mediocre RPG with an awful story.
Eh, their stories aren't usually that bad in my opinion. Not great for sure, but awful is kinda stretching it to me. Fallout 3's was a bit nonsensical if you thought about it too much but it still served it's purpose and got most people invested, and Skyrim's story is actually fine as far as writing goes, it just was really poorly presented and the way it was designed was very unfitting for the kinda game skyrim was trying to be (Creating a false sense of urgency in a game that encourages you to just do whatever you want rather than following a questline specifically, that kinda thing)
I've in general stopped caring about how deep of an RPG bethesda games are, cuz I don't really play them for the indepth character building or combat. None of their RPG's have ever really been particularly gifted in terms of the mechanics.
To me, the real reason you play a bethesda game is to spend lots of time exploring and getting immersed in some way, and then experimenting with tons of usermade content to make the game more what you want it to be.
XII is my favorite Final Fantasy.
Bethesda has some seriously shitty writers, and I don't like how they're dumbing everything down. I know both fallout and elder scrolls are getting more popular, but I think that's because there just are more gamers nowadays, not because of anything they did better than the last game.
I didn't like attributes, but skyrim's perks were worse.
Predator is an overrated movie
Most macho action films are.
I support Bashar al Assad. Long live Assad.
I liked The Phantom Menace.

Although i completely agree with this opinion, it depends on what type of fandom/group/posse you're in with.
Back in the day when i was obsessed with Supernatural, that was a cesspool of self loathing and bitchy remarks if you didn't share a similar ship. But now that im completely out of that Fandom and in with the "bearded gay men and pokemon and nerdy shit" group, there's barely any friction or hate and you can have a reasonable debate.... But obviously theres that one twat that spoils it for everyone.
I liked The Phantom Menace.
Well it is the only self contained Star Wars movie in the Prequel trilogy, so I guess that's a little understandable, it's an alright movie, and it had a lot of cool moments to balance out the crap.
And at least it isn't the Clone Wars movie with the whole Padme <3 Anakin thing, ugh.
They should redo the star wars prequels.
(but keep the clone wars cartoon intact. That shit was ace.)
They should redo the star wars prequels.

Yeah the cartoon was great, and it managed to make me care about Anakin Skywalker, and it fleshed out Obi-Wan and Anakin's friendship and made it seem real and genuine instead of the forced shit we get in the movies.
Like that seemed like an impossibility because of Lucas's utterly bad writing almost ruining the character, but damn did the writing staff for TCW really pull through.
I'm so glad Disney kept it canon.
