I liked Crysis.
Gonna one-up you here: Crysis was one of the best games in the last 10 years.
Most FPS games that come out today still don't match up to it, the lip-syncing, the animations
if you legitimately think the lip syncing and animations in hl2 are better than most modern games you need to take your nostalgia goggles off

I've played the game recently, they are better. Most games don't even bother to do any syncing, they just have nut-cracker mouth movement. People can actually walk in one direction while also turning to face you, if you move around while they talk to you they turn their heads, then their torsos, and finally their bodies to keep up with you, many games just have NPCs talking to the fucking air.
Cherry coke is absolute arse.

Ulysses is completely unreadable. Not in the sense that it is a bad story, but I simply cannot decipher who is saying what, and from my perspective the narrative jumps about all over the place. I simply could not tell who the fuck was who or where they were at all.
I don't think Duke Nukem Forever is that terrible of a game.
Maybe if it was released like, ten years ago (!!!!) it would have been a GOTY or something.
I think the biggest issue with DNF is that after what, 14 years(?), it simply couldn't live up to the hype it had generated. And to a point I think it might have suffered from Doom 3 syndrome as well where it's not that it was an awful game, just that it didn't end up feeling like a game of the series it was part of. You can change plenty in a game and have it still have the same feeling as the older entries in the series. You just have to make the right changes is all. A good example of this is Zelda: Link Between Worlds. They changed a lot in the way that game ended up working (it was far more non-linear than most Zeldas and the rental system only served to make that non-linearity a bit overwhelming actually and unbalanced the difficulty some) but despite all those changes it still clearly felt like a Zelda game.
Sports Non-fans are worse than sports fans.
Non-fans being people who are like "Oh yeah the superb owl" or "oh man the sport sports hue hue get it because i dont care about sports"
They're more annoying than actual sports fans who yell at the TV

It strongly reminds me of the same sorts of people who dislike X yet can't shut up about X rather than just ignoring it.
I somewhat disagree with that last sentence though but that's because I live with people who get loud enough that even with my door shut they'll occasionally keep me up when they're watching a game.

Last time I checked, non-sports people don't assault each other, or attack each other in the stadium, or even beat their own spouses when their team loses.
I love when everyone shits on a movie remake because of its trailer but when the movie comes out nobody has shit to say because its actually good.
Basically Robocop 2014
I get what you're trying to say, but the reason nobody said anything about the Robocop remake post-release was because it was shit, it was shit for exactly the reasons everyone expected it to be, everything there was to say about it had already been said (and that's what happens when your previews give away more plot than some entire movies do).
Seriously, movie trailers need to scale back a bit, leave enough information out that there's at least actually a reason to watch the movie.
I really loathe a lot of the movies and shows these days that for some reason, go out of their way to be grittier than a gravel pit.
Not all sports fans are like that, but yeah, I've met a considerable amount.
Depends on the country as well I find, British sports fans seem rather tame. Think we had a hooliganism problem with football in the 80s but that issue is a shadow of its former self now.
I really loathe a lot of the movies and shows these days that for some reason, go out of their way to be grittier than a gravel pit.
Relatedly, a pet peeve of mine is how every movie these days looks underlit and overexposed, like, how is this even acceptable for cinematography standards, do all filmmakers forget their lighting equipment or what
I recently found out movies have consistently been looking like shit ever since something called the 'digital intermediate' was introduced, but whatever it takes, it needs to stop in my opinion
I like the Star Wars EU and really wish Disney didn't make it non-canon
I like the Star Wars EU and really wish Disney didn't make it non-canon
Whether it was good or not it was pretty disrespectful to just wipe away all that work
I like the Star Wars EU and really wish Disney didn't make it non-canon
A lot of it was really, really stupid though. There are some gems of course, but if Disney has to either accept all of it or none of it, I'd choose none of it.
And really nothing stops it from being canon in your mind, this is a fictional universe we're talking about, do whatever you want.

Why all or none?
Whether it was good or not it was pretty disrespectful to just wipe away all that work
What do you mean 'wipe away'? It's not like it's all been wiped from the face of the earth, it still exists.
By that logic, fan-fiction is wiped away as it's written.
I like "No flex zone"
my chemical romance are complete shit, with the exception of the black parade album, and nanana

"This band is shit, except for a whole album they made"
Then you don't really think they're shit, do you?
"This band is shit, except for a whole album they made"

not really, there are a few bands that have like one good album, and then a lot of shit ones, there's also that whole "the longer a band is around, the more time they have to release bad music" thing, as well as my dad's theory, that the first album takes 4+ years to make, then the next one is done in 1-2 years, thus isnt the same quality

Helena is MCRs best song and the only one I genuinely love because the choreography is really lovely in the video.
I like the song Teenagers because I was an ~edgy middle schooler~ and it has a lot of nostalgic quality for me

"golly gosh i love waiting for resources fUN"
People don't know shit about foreign relations if their first answer to terrorism is "duh just kill em all!"
because that's exactly what the terrorists want: conflict. If you kill any of their people, they'll be viewed as martyrs, and their war machine gets more fuel to fight.
I'm not saying we should let them run rampant and slaughter the world, it's just that trying to make a compromise with them/improving the infrastructure of the region/nation they're taking advantage of could help, you know, reduce the conditions of shit these people come from and keep them from ever coming about again.
But let's just keep bombing the everloving fuck out of them and "grow balls" and watch more of our own people, and civilians who aren't even involved in the conflict get shot up in the crossfire.
I'm no expert obviously, but come the fuck on people! These conflicts will never stop if we don't try something other than bunker busting the shit out of dudes who want to get shot up and cut down in the name of their warped view on their religion.

These types of videos, where it's a pure white space with some dude doodling sped up, have been so incredibly overused they're just shit now. What once was an interesting concept used in one or two videos is now used for virtually any video with the slightest hinting towards being educational or persuasive or selling you something. It's stagnant and boring and shitty.
