To be honest, you're kind of the pot calling the kettle black.
Any post involving the use of drugs or alcohol at all, you rate dumb or funny, even when it's a serious post because you seem to have a thing against drugs of any kind, regardless of context.
Being a furry and taking drugs are entirely different and in no way comparable.
Stephen Fry's face irritates me.

No, it's just that I hate overly sweet foods. I also hate mixing savoury with sweet.
Peanut butter & banana sandwiches (without bacon, jam, honey, marshmallow vomit or any other dreck) are an exception though, those are godlike.
You're missing the point. You said that some people shit on milkandcooki because he's a furry and don't really look beyond that, and you do the same thing with drugs. I wasn't comparing furries to drugs, I was comparing how you see other people reacting to him about that and how you react to drug related posts.
The difference is that what Starlight is doing is rating posts based on their content, whereas people rate milkandcooki's posts down just because it's him.

Also, marshmallows and marshmallow spreads are literally Satan.
Yes, I'm a human with taste buds.
No but he's a furry guys that renders his arguments invalid!!!!!!
I don't give a shit that he is a furry, but I do give a shit about his horrible posts against anything that goes against his ideology.
There are a few other posters that do this:
The difference is that what Starlight is doing is rating posts based on their content, whereas people rate milkandcooki's posts down just because it's him.
But he is probably the most obvious one.
Milkandcooki is a self-obsessed fuck and there is nothing good about his posts. He was just banned for making six (or more, I didn't count) consecutive posts about his vapid adventures on twitter in LMAO pics; nobody liked them but he kept going because that's the kind of person he is. Let alone his gigantic fuming tirades about furries, or how he continually posts his fursona's fat fetish art proudly.
I didn't know anything about that stuff and I still thought he was a bad poster wow.

The steam forums are a fucking disaster and I don't blame any developer who doesn't use it.

This is kinda showing absolutely no understanding of his situation however. Furries often have a habit of having autistic tendencies. Which is something many of Milkandcooki's posts have given me the impression of.
Though I can't say I'm surprised seeing a post like this coming from someone who has claimed autism doesn't even exist in the past and whom I have never seen really show anything resembling empathy or understanding towards others.

My twin brother has autism and has from about a year old. I know that you've got a really weird dislike of me that has gone on unreciprocated for literally years, but trust me, I've never said that.

But anything to get a zinger on a fellow poster on the ol' 'punch, right?

Yes, I'm aware your brother has autism. That is why I've always found that viewpoint of yours so weird. And yes, you did in fact say that in a conversation with me on Steam.
As for my dislike for you, it comes from your general attitude and the fact you come across as a huge hypocrite judging by what I know of you from Steam chatlogs compared to what you post here on fp.
But anything to get a zinger on a fellow poster on the ol' 'punch, right?
As for this bit, I really couldn't care less. My entire objective was to point out the issues with what you were saying. I was hoping you might admit your fault there but that was definitely asking far too much of you. Instead you responded more or less exactly how I was unfortunately expecting.

then clearly you don't actually know shit about gmf????

I don't remember having talked to you on steam at all. This is likely something on my end, because I've got a generally poor memory, but I can assure you I've never said that. I get that you think I'm a hypocrite, and I'll accept that - of course I am - but that's a particularly petty mind game to be trying to play and such a malicious attempt at a personal blow it'd be amusing - weren't it a, well, personal blow. I'm willing to believe you've got me mixed up with someone else; otherwise, I'm genuinely baffled about what you're trying to do here. A single search will completely invalidate my apparent disbelief in autism existing.
Batman Rises is the worst of the Nolan trilogy. Honestly that filmed died for me as soon as Bane spoke. He sounds like a fucking muppet and you'll excuse me if I don't find Kermit the frog to be an intimidating Batman villain.

To be fair it was awhile ago. (Late 2012 I believe.) I'm definitely not mixing you up with someone else though because it was during a time when you were having some issues with someone else who I commonly talk to on Steam. Maybe you had just misworded what you meant but I definitely remember you saying that you didn't believe autism existed. I was actually really confused when you said it because it was shortly after we'd talked about your brother being autistic in fact. (That being the main reason I remember it too.)
And it wasn't intended so much as a personal blow as it was to address all relevant issues since I've seen how you argue before. Fair enough point there though, I could see how it would be interpreted that way looking back over my wording.
Regardless though my point in the end is this: Ragging on someone like that isn't going to be productive, especially when you're not showing much understanding of the situation which is something gmf regulars have a bad habit of doing. Whether they do actually understand and still choose to do that is another debate altogether but that's how it comes across and it's kinda unfair and only serves to help ostracize someone who does the job well enough themselves when they would be better served having people try to help them out instead.
I really enjoyed the movie Cars and I don't get the hate for it
2 was turd tho, I get that
I think the GMF is worse than fast threads.
even if you don't fit in with the gmf you've got to admit that this subforum is still way worse. "Would you fuck the above user's avatar? V5" etc.
like gmf people laugh at you if you make a bad impression and/or are a weirdo. dudes in ft rate each other's TF2 and five nights at freddy's and loli avatars. there is no competition.
Any subforum that prides itself at laughing others is terrible.
i'm fairly certain that anyone who enjoys anime is inherently an embarrassing dweeb or one of "those" people
i have held this belief for 9 years, during which my belief has not yet been invalidated
Any subforum that prides itself at laughing others is terrible.
well that depends on who the people are doesn't it
Not really. It's still another human being.
This is especially true in cases where a user is permabanned from the site, yet a group of users keep going on about them, for example Cubeman.
I personally wouldn't apply my morals as far as that. The main reason I don't like GMF is just that it seems pretty caustic and not fun to be in.
True, I worded that sorta badly. I mean its one thing to laugh at a cringeworthy facebook comment chain, and be laughing at the comment and not the person behind it, but its another thing to laugh at the person making the comment. I mean yeah there are always grey areas, but in general thats how i look at things.

Do you have any basis for that, or is it just useless stereotyping?

yet you've been there to laugh at other people too??
[editline]6th February 2015[/editline]
like shit man i get it if you don't like mocking people but you've done just that, don't be a hypocrite
I dunno, like other subforums GMF can be shitty sometimes as well as good sometimes, I don't really go there, but I just always found it funny how every time someone talks shit about it a ton of GMFers have to swoop in and defend it.
"be normal and well adjusted and its good, dont be a dogfucker etc etc"

As I said, there's a difference between laughing at what someone said, and laughing at someone. I do the former frequently, everyone does. However, i see far more of the latter out of the GMF, and quite frankly, Cubeman is the best example of this because he's fucking Permabanned and people still give him shit.
Going through people's post histories, other websites they are a part of, and stuff like that isn't just laughing at what someone said, that's laughing at that person for being them.

Essentially, It's the concept of attack the argument, not the one making the argument.
