Hellfire is like my most favorite disney song and everything else just pales in comparison.
I've never liked Disney movies. Lion King bored me to tears as a kid.
Fallout 3 was mediocre.
I've always found the references to cubeman whenever Google glass or police are brought up is silly, childish, and mean

Even though I love all of the Team Silent-era games, I feel that the first is almost as bad as the fourth.
Fallout 3 was mediocre.
Now it is because we're used to the greatness of FNV but at the time it was pretty fucking amazing
patriotism/nationalism isn't a bad thing
The Five Nights at Freddy's series isn't bad at all, I like their unique approach to the horror genre. However, the fan base has really turned to shit and that is the problem. Same thing could be applied to MLP. Decent show, awful fanbase.
Now it is because we're used to the greatness of FNV but at the time it was pretty fucking amazing
Even at the time I thought it was mediocre compared to Fallout 1 and 2. It just lacked most of the the true RPG elements in my opinion.
you mean [sp]mufasas death[/sp] dont you [editline]16th January 2015[/editline] to be fair it was almost self inflicted than anything
That's bs
This is generally a hypocritical opinion, but if you really hate a person (ex. Justin Bieber, Anita Sarkeesian, PDP, Youtube pranksters with a clip of them getting beaten up), then don't openly discuss about it because you're unintentionally giving that person more attention thus creating a Streisand Effect. Whether if the fame is either infamous or famous, if you disagree with the person, just don't talk about it in a platform where an entire world's views are shared. That will create some crazy idiots to openly go out and harass the person; and obviously in this society we look down upon any negative people and support the victims. Hell, I remember when Sarkeesian first gained news by having a Kickstarter for tropes. What was the following news stories after that? People harassing her thus making her look like the martyr-esque victim standing up for women's rights (despite that her opinions/views are really horrible). Now she has appeared on Colbert, Dateline, and even met a ton of celebrities just because she gained a ton of recognition. Just don't talk about a person you hate.
In the case of Sarkeesian I think it's more due to her cashing on it by playing the victim card than to people expressing their anger towards her too much. People who harass others "for the lulz" exist everywhere, death threats are common for people with the slightest fame on the internet, ask any popular Youtuber. Heck, if those small-time harassers were somehow exceptionally absent from her feed she would have manufactured a narrative through false-flagging anyway. I think the problem lies not in people expressing their disagreement too much, if anything it's quite the contrary; the fact that people are unwilling to consider criticism if the target pretends to defend honorable values and just nod in agreement to whatever bullshit they're being fed in hope of appearing "progressive" to their social circle is why such malarkey is able to continue today. The answer is not isolation from the figures you disagree with, going out and explaining your point of view is the only way to make people question their certainty. Remember, echo chambers are the source of the problem in the first place.
I heavily dislike OneyNG's videos tbh He seems to always shoehorn in the most "epic/random/wacky" faces onto his characters in nearly every animation he puts out, which results in his fans eating it up, and about thousands upon thousands of avatars of these "fucking epic!!!" faces I do like his Leo and Satan series since it's one of his more original series and he didn't shoehorn in the most "epic" faces at every opportunity, and he seemed to focus more on the humor itself. It's just in his newer videos, I notice the over abundance of these "epic" faces over the actual humor itself, hell, when most people show me his videos, they seem to focus just on the faces themselves, not even the jokes/humor in the video itself. "oh oh man look at this one part *pauses on character making a SUPER WACKY!!!! face* HAHA FUCKIN HILARIOUS DUDE" So he could put out one of most unfunny videos he has ever produced in terms of humor/jokes, but his fans will still eat it up if he shoehorns in a couple "wacky/random/epic" faces onto the characters. It's perfectly fine to have your characters incredibly expressive, but christ, you don't have to make them have the most overexaggerated facial expressions throughout the entire thing [t]http://i.imgur.com/sQ0sAMzl.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/v6gh5hK.png[/t] [t]http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130906181201/smashbroslawlorigins/images/f/fc/Virgirnia_Vegeta_Ape_face_XD!.png[/t] [t]https://yt3.ggpht.com/-TuZaX58SPxA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/0qEIenf_r8A/s900-c-k-no/photo.jpg[/t]
patriotism/nationalism isn't a bad thing
being somewhat patriotic is alright. Outright patriotism and nationalism is shit though.
The Five Nights at Freddy's series isn't bad at all, I like their unique approach to the horror genre.
Fallout 3 was mediocre.
Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and to some extent Skyrim are straight trash. The aesthetics and animations are so ugly. Those are both terrible games. [editline]16th January 2015[/editline] Just feels like Bethesda has been re releasing Oblivion since 2006.
Tumblr's full of cool people and neat art, all the "i'm fishgender please use glub/glubs/glubself" guys are either trolling or openly mocked within the site (also SJW is a terrible meaningless term)
i think the last of us was really fucking boring, it was very pretty, but by god was it uninteresting
to be fair it was almost self inflicted than anything
"He just asked to be bullied" You're actually blaming him for people making fun of him, holy shit.
Heck, if those small-time harassers were somehow exceptionally absent from her feed she would have manufactured a narrative through false-flagging anyway.
Well then it would be 100% on her. You can't really deny that the people who say they hate her are only giving her more attention and making her more visible to everyone though so they're really part of the problem.
"He just asked to be bullied" You're actually blaming him for people making fun of him, holy shit.
It's the same idea as that MrApple crap that went down a few years ago except maybe slightly more justified and with less outside interference from Garry. Constantly posting anti-police crap after that didn't help the situation and only encouraged people to make fun of him for it, that's something he could have done differently to help the situation. Though bringing it up in other threads was completely bullshit and should have been outright bannable since it was completely off-topic.

Besides, usaokay's original post said that people shouldn't discuss about people they disagree with for fear of attracting the attention of harassers, ignoring the fact that discussing an issue is the only way to solve the problem in the first place.

And honestly the anti-tumblr types are a lot more disturbing since 95% of the stuff they're blowing a gasket over is satirical but their homicidal rage over it is dead serious.

Where can I find those? :v:

"Well, he could have just stopped doing X!" is the classic argument any bully uses when their confronted about their behavior. And yeah, it should be a bannable offense. Cubeman is perma'd, let the dumb joke die already.
cubeman isn't referenced when police threads go up because he posted threads, he is referenced because his actions killed another human being and the most he was worried about was his political career, his google glasses, and the police keeping his google glasses
People keep parroting this "He killed someone" line, but as far as the evidence was concerned was that he was just there, and that he didn't actually kill the person that had died. Sure, he was dumb by going to FP to post about it, but that still doesn't give anyone the right to constantly joke about him and then go "Well he was just asking for it!!"
"He just asked to be bullied" You're actually blaming him for people making fun of him, holy shit.
he knew exactly why people made fun of him and chose to ignore every piece of advice though the dude went over to the fashion thread quite often asking for help on the exact same things every single time and just brushed off every suggestion. he also got banned for doing the thing he was warned not to multiple times not to mention the fact that he basically ignored that a man died in a drag race he took part in and mentioned it like, once, and instead chose to focus on saying that he was alright and hoped his career wouldnt be affected by it which was pretty despicable [editline]16th January 2015[/editline] its not so much that he deserved it, its more that he kept making a fool of himself
cubeman isn't referenced when police threads go up because he posted threads, he is referenced because his actions killed another human being and the most he was worried about was his political career, his google glasses, and the police keeping his google glasses
Now I haven't kept up with it very well but as far as I know he wasn't at all responsible for someone dying. He had been racing but he was just driving home when the other guy was screwing around or whatever and went over the guard rail from what I know. He stopped because he hda been racing and thought it might have been someone he knew, plus if you witness an accident you're generally supposed to stop anyways if it was serious. (Not that it's easy to handle it properly when you've constantly got people shitting all over you and attacking you.)
I don't understand how anyone can truly think that "oh he kept making a fool of himself, better keep make fun of him!!!". That's no excuse. There's never an excuse for bullying. That's where it crosses the line at laughing at something cringeworthy, to bullying.
Now I haven't kept up with it very well but as far as I know he wasn't at all responsible for someone dying. But you're right, there's not much you can do when someone is shitting on you, even if it's somehow "your own fault". If you do something, it'll probably give them more ammunition. If you don't they'll just continue. I know that from experience.
patriotism/nationalism isn't a bad thing
lol
lol
But he's right. A healthy dose of nationalism and patriotism helps bring people together. It's something people share. Of course, there is such a thing as too much of those things and that certainly leads to negative consequences, but that's like anything else. It's entirely possible to be patriotic, but realize that your country has done shitty things, and is capable of shitty things.
