Social lives/friends are overrated, they aren't needed and its better to keep busy with your hobbies
Nope, your social life is very important for you, I think the reasons why are pretty much common sense by now
Social lives/friends are overrated, they aren't needed and its better to keep busy with your hobbies
Uh, yes they are. Having friends and a social life helps one develop in terms of interactions with others, and can open up a broad spectrum of different things to achieve in the future, like a job, your own family, people who depend on you and vice versa. We are social animals and we have survived basically because of being social.
The American flag symbolizes nothing more to me than an identifier of the US. Objectively, the flag is used as a symbol for nationalism, obviously, but the flag itself has no meaning to me. Oh, and in a similar vein, I dislike the Pledge of Allegiance. I think it's creepy and pretty anti-free speech, especially considering when I was a kid and tried to not do it they insisted I either do it or do a walk of shame outside the class until it was over. What bothers me is when people get to thinking that it's somehow anti-American to not buy in to either of these things. One thing people always give me when I mention those things is that I'm being anti-soldiers somehow, they say the red on the flag represents blood of soldiers, but as far as I'm aware, the only symbolism on the US flag is that the 50 stars represent the 50 states and the 13 stripes represent the 13 colonies, so that's absolutely false AFAIK, and on top of that, the Pledge of Allegiance doesn't have a single solitary word about the military anywhere in it.
Clockwork orange is overrated
I don't want Fallout 4 to be in Boston, or anywhere else on the East Coast. I'm probably going to be really disappointed if that's what it turns out to be because it means that I'm just going to have to wait for years just to get an update on what's been going on with the NCR and the Khans and the mutants and all the other factions that have been around since the very beginning.
Super Mario World is the worst platformer in the Mario series.
I've always liked scrappy doo as a character.
I like fast food burgers better than gourmet/homemade burgers. I can barely even finish gourmet ones for some reason

It's also relatively new, it was only after around 100 or so years after the country was founded that people even began saying the pledge.
I think that every LOTR so far has been horrendously boring and I don't find the franchise remotely exciting.
I disliked Guardians of the Galaxy. I understand it's appeal: its a fun adventure-filled sci-fantasy to many. It just seemed like Tropes the Movie to me. And the relationships were too brief and underdeveloped for me to buy the supposed depth of their bonds at the end.
I think the NCR are so fucking underrated in the Fallout series, they will always be superior to the Brotherhood yet their badass armour still gets them on 1.4% of all avatars on the internet.
I think EA is not evil nor terrible like the most people claim and that majority of studios they shot down had it coming due to their terrible internal management.

[t]http://www.vimbly.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Crunchy-peanut-butter-1-300x225.jpg[/t] Crunchy peanut butter is terrible in my opinion. It tastes okay, but the texture is bad and it just looks unappetizing when you spread it on a piece of toast. It looks like someone vomited all over my toast.
Minecraft is fucking overrated.

Here's something I have beef with that I see on here and other sites a lot. Probably not too popular.
WALL, CLACKER, JOKET, FAT MIDGET HOUSTON, DOLLOP, HAXHUD, DRAGON, AND FAT WICK, THE FULL BENEFITS GANG.
Posts that make fun of cosplayers' bodytypes. Not only are they really not all that funny, but it discourages people with different bodytypes from cosplaying. These people, despite their bodies' appearance, put some work into making those costumes and getting to a convention to show them off. It's especially bad when cosplay elitists make these kinds of posts, disguising their flaming by saying shit like "oh i'm not being mean, i just don't think it's accurate!!!" Then again, cosplay elitists are typically white people cosplaying Japanese characters so they're ones to talk about accuracy lol.

So I'm keeping my mouth shut on this opinion when it comes to any kind of debate, but I find the constant taxpayer argument very annoying, and I don't mean the argument over how much you're being taxed. The reason I'm keeping my mouth shut is because as someone who has yet to actually have to pay taxes, and I want to wait until I actually have that perspective until I go around blustering like an idiot. But on my gut instinct as of now I kind of find it childish when people whine and whine because something they don't like is being paid for with taxes. Like because a tiny fraction of their taxes go to paying for some guy in prison, they should get to decide what his fate is.
I think EA is not evil nor terrible like the most people claim and that majority of studios they shot down had it coming due to their terrible internal management.
EA got a bit better imo, Ubisoft took their place as the worst publisher.
Didn't ubisoft release two Assassin's Creed games in the same year? How is that possible? Does that mean they worked on both of them at same time or something? Geez.. [editline]9th March 2015[/editline] I'm not sure if they use separate teams or not but christ. Talk about milking a franchise.
As great as on-demand streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) are, I seriously doubt that they'll replace cable television any time in the near future, if at all. Even if they did start to grow larger and more widely used than the cable companies, that would only result in increased subscription prices and/or the insertion of commercials and advertisements into the shows and movies they offer. Which would basically turn them into a cable television service in of itself.

The idea that we can just let the south secede just like that with no consequences to the rest of the US is just as fucking stupid and poorly thought out as thinking that the south can secede just like that with no consequences to the south.
Dreams can be actually prophetic
Dreams can be actually prophetic
While I do think they can have some kind of message you can use, prophetic is a bit uhh... crazy?
