I don't see the point in friendships with people if you don't have much in common. I class friendships as people you can be on your own with and wont have an awkward silence.
I hate it when people say "in this day and age" or like "it's the 21st century and we're still doing..." I mean just shut up we're only 15 years out of the 20th century you can't expect the world to change overnight. And I mean I don't see much of a difference in our time than like say the 80s or 90s other than technology
Dreams can be actually prophetic
Aren't dreams just more or less recollections of the events of that day plus other memories all mixed together?

I think that some dinosaurs probably outlived the KT extinction event for as much as a few million years before going extinct.

Yeah it's 2015, it will be 2016 next year. Things don't drastically change overnight. That and the "Imagine ..." fad. Yeah I imagined, what now?
While his passing was definitely sad, I don't think Kitty0706 was really all that funny. He had a few good times like Moments with Heavy and Team Fabulous 2, but most of his stuff was cringeworthy more than anything else.
I don't see the point in friendships with people if you don't have much in common.
While I do think they can have some kind of message you can use, prophetic is a bit uhh... crazy?
idk, i've dreamt some very specific things that turned out exactly the same way in real life
I don't see the point in friendships with people if you don't have much in common. It's good to treat everyone like one. You never know when you'll need a foot in a door. Plus, you're probably not a very well-rounded person if you can't hold a conversation with someone you have almost nothing in common with.
While I do think they can have some kind of message you can use, prophetic is a bit uhh... crazy?
I'd say virtually all dreams are either useless or just your subconscious helping you out. But I've had a few dreams before that have suggested a prophetic ability, in at least a vague or abstract sense.
I have been watching the 60s Spider-man cartoon and I must say It's actually better than I expected. There's way more than memes when it comes to this show.

I deal TERRIBLY with awkward silence and can't stand it and i just have verbal diarrhea. Its aweful and i try and avoid awkward silences as much as possible. I get severe anxiety from it.

I didn't enjoy Just Cause. The gameplay was ok but the world felt so hollow and fake to me.
The only thing Persona 4 has over Persona 3 FES is direct command. 3 is better in every way.
I have for a long period of time felt that Half Life 2 looks like shit. From an aesthetic standpoint, there is not much in the game that I don't find ugly.

Taco Bell is extremely good
I hate all the textures
The textures are the worst part. Especially anything grassy or swampy, it always looks like a cat fucking vomited all over the landscape.
I must be one of the few people that actually enjoy half life 2 textures.
most people here have a massive boner for it (and everything valve)
Half-Life 2 has aged like moldy cheese when it comes to graphics, but I still love the music, atmosphere, and gameplay.
I think GTA V was a disappointment. Not that it isn't fun and that I won't still play it for years, but I feel like the time and resources that have been taken away from the Story mode in favor of the Online mode have really ruined the potential of the whole game. This is especially bad considering the Online isn't very good either. So instead of having one very good game type, we have two barely decent ones. What's even worse is how Rockstargames keeps the Story mode on ice. There are features in the Online mode which would be incredibly convenient and/or fun to have in the Story mode, yet there they are, exclusive to the Online mode. One could think that they keep them exclusive so that people actually played Online, since otherwise It'd look even more awful in comparison. And it's safe to assume Rockstar wants people the play the Online rather than the Story, because of Shark Cards - and the DLC's aren't really a good excuse either - especially now when Rockstar decided not to put them in the story mode, and even when they do, it's just a half assed paste into the player's magical car spawner garage instead of putting even just a little bit of effort into it, putting them up for sale on websites - preferably along with the other vehicles you can buy in Online but for no good reason at all can't buy in Story mode. I wouldn't put much hope in the PC version either, there's only so much mods can do, especially with how shitty rockstar is in regards to modding. I doubt it's a matter of just 'porting it over'. The only thing I feel could live up to GTA V's potential after all is some kind of expansion which Rockstar first crossed out, but then retracted that statement - implying that it might happen. An expansion which would fix the issues with Online exclusive features. It would make sense, since Rockstar would make a lot of cash on it - having the features unlocked in an expansion. Minimal effort, and yet people would love it. That would explain why they haven't done it earlier.
gta 5 rant
Playing Grand Theft Auto for the story sounds like such an alien concept to me. Almost everyone I know plays it to cause general mayhem, use cheats, or play multiplayer. I don't think most people care for story mode.

Thing is, the things you described are fairly restricted in online, and in many ways cut from story mode. So it's a loose-loose. GTA IV's multiplayer got it right, it was just straight fun with no restrictive bullshit attached. Granted, it's also extremly lackluster in content but it got the concept right, as opposed to V's online
edit: oh god wrong thread
GTA V is tied with San Andreas as my favorite GTA game. San Andreas hasn't aged the best, but I still have the strongest emotional connection to it because it reminds me so much of middle school and in my opinion, the gameplay, while flawed, is still very good. Vice City on the other hand was a piece of shit. I didn't even like it when it was new. I try playing it again every fucking year to try and understand the hype and I never enjoy it.
I think exactly the same regarding SA and VC. Hurts even more though, how GTA v could have 1upped SA in every way, but didn't for the sake of a shitty online mode.
