Fallout is better than Elder Scrolls
Bethesda is being held back by its own dog shit engine (it's much better in Skyrim, but it still has many annoying limitations), and Fallout will continue to suffer from it if they don't switch to something else.
On another topic, I'd really like to see peace talks open up with terrorist groups like Hamas, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, etc (rephrasing my statement). I know they're terrorist groups, I know no one likes them, but these guys will only flourish if we continue to fight them. Even if they splinter, new cells will appear here and there, and declaring war on them will only attract more people to join their cause.
There has to be a solution to dealing with them that doesn't involve thousands of more deaths over the course of however many more decades our governments will throw soldiers at them.

I agree with the notion that we shouldn't be only fighting terrorist groups, as responding only with violence only contributes to their support through collateral damage to civilians (which allows for a rally point by the organisations) and the refusal to undertake any other action to reduce their influence, as you mentioned.
However, IMO I don't think we should give them any power, not because they should be eradicated or some shit, but because they're not representative of any populations they are active in, nor are their ideals very beneficial to anyone but those who lead the groups. I think the only way we'll ever be able to get rid of groups such as those is to attack the root problems that contribute to their inception and any public support. That means we should be doing things like actively aiding development in impoverished areas, as well as the development of the nation that they reside in in order to achieve more equality and opportunity for their citizens (this does include Israel stopping their bullshit with Palestine), as well as opening up relationships for peace and trade with other nations or fostering such relationships between them and other nations.
I rephrased what I said so it would sound less like giving them power, and more like wanting peace with them.
I agree with you entirely, aiding in a more balanced development in their regions would likely eradicate their need for doing what they do.
Yogurt without the fat just isn't a real yogurt.
Also, natural pig fat is way better than oil for making Eggs sunny side up.

"Literally everyone." ha
I've never liked the LOTR movies.
There isn't too much of a difference between 30fps and 60fps for it to be a must for me.

Even more depressing is that the concept art for New Vegas looked like this
[img_thumb]http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/f/f7/FNV_concept_art_Vegas_Skyline.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20100504194153[/img_thumb]
Goes to show what having a year and a half of dev time cut will do to a game.

I doubt it'd end up looking anything like that anyway.
wow you guys are disgustingly optimistic to think fallout would turn out like that even with a new engine
Of course it is concept art and of course the final product won't be like that, but since Obsidian is one of the few western development studios I would classify as "knows their shit", I think a year and a half more dev time would have made F:NV one of those best games of all time rather than just a flawed masterpiece
Houston and Hoxton from Payday 2 have the sexiest voices I ever heard on a Videogame.
Punk rock is mostly unintelligible garbage.
Criticism is free speech.
Perfumes and cologne are the worst shit ever.
Why can't people just smell clean, and not like they were dipped in chemicals?

Is that an unpopular opinion?
Perhaps in China but in the US of all places?

First lesson about how concept art works: the finished product never looks like the concept art.

Really depends. The people who buy decent colognes/perfumes and only apply them to both their wrists or once on their neck are fine. The assholes that buy axe/tag/whatevershitisatwalgreens and just spray it all over their damn body are bad.
Milk Chocolate is better than any other chocolate
Is that an unpopular opinion?

It seems to be a very common opinion for people with homophobic, racist, or otherwise unacceptably discriminatory opinions that criticizing their opinions is invading their freedom of speech.
I didn't like HL
it's silly but also the best in any games
"It's the amps that kills you, not the volts" and "Jumping into water from that height is like jumping onto concrete" are both bullshit statements that people only say to look smart
it's silly but also the best in any games
There's no sense of pacing or direction, the silly is kept too close to the serious and makes the contrast jarring, and the messages are about as subtle as a midair trainwreck.
Generalizations in the form of "Facepunch approves of ..." tend to be pretty spot on

Yeah, even though internet communities are full of individuals with their own unique opinions and shit, several communities (including those on tumblr) DO have a bit of a general frame when it comes to social or political views and shit, I wouldn't call it a hivemind, but there is often a dominant set of ideas.
