Origin are extremely helpful and frankly lovely to talk to.
It has its moments, but I think the show is wicked boring more often than not. I'm really not a car guy.
I find Top Gear is at it's peak of entertainment when it's just about the presenters. All the road trips are my favorite episodes, but I have no real interest in watching them drive new cars around the track or watching celebrities do their times which takes up a majority of the episodes. Then toss them in cheap cars in South America or something and the entire hour or so is all about their quirks and friendship and that's when I find it's at its best.

"I shall name you Tesco!"
Never had any problems with steam or origin

The situations are usually hilarious (such as them building their own shitty limos), and the competition between the 3 is great.
when it comes to review scores for games there's nothing wrong with giving something a 10/10. no game is perfect mechanically, or without some issues, but if it excels in every aspect, and achieves what it was going for, i think a "perfect" score is completely justified.
I never really saw a 10/10 score as "literally perfect", just representative of the highest mark you would be willing to give a game. I don't understand people who say "There are no 10/10s because no game is perfect!"
multiplayer shooters should never be f2p
because no game is perfect
obviously not true
I find the first Witcher one of the most dreadful videogames I've ever played in my life I think that Dark Souls and its spawns are less very challenging action rpgs and more about very frustrating trial and error titles with pisspot graphics and presentation
Dark Souls' level design generally isn't trial an error unless you have a disease in which you physically cannot slowly approach situations with caution and a keen eye. The few examples that are are not strict enough to write the game off as being all trial and error bullshit..
I really hate Let's Players. Like who the fuck cares if you're playing a game all day and trying to be funny. Even if you're being funny, you're still sitting in a room alone playing a video game.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but how is that hate worthy? And that's not even considering Let's Players who play with other people (hell, the channel I watch has six guys playing together and more than half of them are married).
I don't know, it is the "unpopular opinions" thread. I never said I was right. :( maybe it's because my last roommate would watch them really loud.
I don't know, it is the "unpopular opinions" thread.
I don't know, it is the "unpopular opinions" thread. So they get paid for it. It sounds pretty good to me. I'd rather be doing that than what i do for a living now.

I always imagined playing video games and making money doing it, but then I would feel pressured to put up more and more videos for my fans, thus transforming the leisure activity of gaming into a routine that must be done.

So just because you disagree with their career choice doesn't mean they disagree with it haha. Not getting on at you. Its just the way you came across sounded alot like you were saying they were pathetic for doing what they do when they get paid a lot, get a lot of fame for playing games and putting on a show. They are entertainers and they entertain a pretty large group of people if they are big.
yea i mean u did sound like you're kind of calling people losers or something for getting paid to play video games "alone" (i feel like that u had to point this out says a lot?) but the fact that you even have an opinion on Let's Players leads me to believe you play video games too only you're actually paying money to play them rather than get paid so who's the real winner

It sort of loses meaning when there are a disproportionate number of 10s.

I think the music from soundtracks is in general more creative than that of other music. Could be that I just like the style of music in soundtracks more to my liking though.
how can u say that when soundtrack is not a real genre more of a description (since soundtracks can be any genre) also i see yr hotline miami avatar so i assume that inspired the post at least to an extent (understandably, bangin soundtracks especially HM2)-- u know all the music from those games are composed by actual artists and not soundtrack composers right? They just happened to lend tracks to a game. [editline]25th March 2015[/editline] thought u specfically meant vid game soundtracks but I read it again and u meant just in general i guess that takes away from my point lmao (but still. soundtrack isnt really a "genre")

If you don't, you have a good chance to die Also, unlike in the proper trial and error genre, in Dark Souls respawning means you have to step back to the last checkpoint (fire) you unlocked and face all the enemies again, so the whole thing becomes tiresome quickly
I really hate Let's Players. Like who the fuck cares if you're playing a game all day and trying to be funny. Even if you're being funny, you're still sitting in a room alone playing a video game.
The problem with that kind of videos is that basically each of us could produce a decent let's play video, so it's hard to find YouTubers who are actually funny and interesting to listen to. That and everyone thinks they can pull it off, but they can't Today I wanted to make a video for my channel where I was to play through the medical bay on hard in Alien: Isolation and react to my inevitable death, with voice commentary. I quickly realized that the video wasn't going to feel unique, so I dropped it Thing is, many YouTubers just DON'T drop it Oh, and since I'm in the unpopular opinions thread, I find PewDiePie annoying

I mean a lot of soundtracks are basically neoclassical music which isn't something you often hear these days. I agree that using soundtrack as a genre is pretty dumb though.
play slower and pay more attention (also git gud)
Don't worry, I'm getting Bloodborne What a joy it will be
Literally every game people describe as having "trial and error gameplay" can be played much more effectively if you spend a few seconds to consider what will happen next.
This isn't completely true. There's plenty of spots in games where you couldn't really see something coming before it happens. I Wanna Be the Guy has perfect examples of this in like the first screen with the apples on the trees. There's no way to predict they're going to fall if you're going into it blind. After you die to the first one then you're going to realistically expect to have to jump over the next ones yet one of them randomly falls towards the top of the screen. Now obviously this is an extreme example but you're generalizing the subject far too much regardless. It's not literally every game. Most yes, all though is flat out false.
