I wish Bethesda would've made a sequel to skyrim (whereas you can continue as the same character) instead of making ESO
Bethesda has nothing to do with ESO. Zenimax, the evil Illuminati puppetmasters behind Bethesda, made ESO, and as such it has no bearing on development of future TES games. Also ESO is pretty nice now and you're not getting a sequel like that in TES ever in a thousand years.
I know this hope is probably in vain, but I'd kinda like to see another TES adventure game like Redguard.
A Final Fantasy VII remake would really only work if done as a joint project between Square-Enix and Bandai Namco. That way, the outdated combat system could be retired in favour of the Tales series' Linear Motion Battle System.
Why remake when you can just port more games. Less work and easier money.
Viking Metal is the shit yo
I don't relish the idea of MOBAs and open world single player games as the future of gaming
I don't relish the idea of MOBAs
Yes, I love you
and open world single player games as the future of gaming
screw you this is the gaming fad i've been waiting for since i was 6
It'd be extremely disappointing if the future of gaming was single player dominant.
It'd be extremely disappointing if the future of gaming was single player dominant.
Is there any evidence of this being a thing? It looks opposite to me.
Huns > Vikings
Jeremy Clarkson is an asshole and physically assaulted a producer. He probably shouldn't be working in television again, let alone coming back to Top Gear, which itself it massively overrated.
Clarkson has always been a bigot and an asshole since the start and honestly I'm surprised he's lasted this long
Jeremy Clarkson is an asshole and physically assaulted a producer. He probably shouldn't be working in television again, let alone coming back to Top Gear, which itself it massively overrated.
Considering that the producer didn't even report it, and wanted to work with Clarkson again it was in all honesty probably not nearly as big of a deal as the BBC made it out to be.
There isn't a war on Christmas. It's not even an issue. A bunch of cranky old white people made it up to have something to complain about. Nobody is taking Christmas away, I can fucking guarantee that. Christmas is already easily the most dominant holiday of the year to the point where almost everyone celebrates it, regardless of religion. Getting angry because someone doesn't celebrate your precious holiday is childish and pointless. I have no idea why people get their panties in a bunch so much over it.
In Poland people brew a shitstorm because Lidl's motto for the Xmas season was "Happy Holidays" rather than "Happy Christmas". Poland is such a fucked up country in certain ways, jesus. People here call it the country of absurdness, and I think that's pretty spot on. It's like our politicians care for nothing, nothing but either a personal agenda, material gain or some kind of ignorant philosophical bias. It's at the point when sometimes decisions are just completely delusional, nonsense and sometimes just straight up stupid, hence the 'absurd' dub. The politicians aren't the only ones at fault, mind you. There are a lot of social issues, too. I mean it always was ridiculous, especially with that whole cybernetics stuff, but this is just too much. I also dislike how it dropped the 60's cold war setting somewhere along the way.
screw you this is the gaming fad i've been waiting for since i was 6
No wait, I'm not against open world games per se, I'm worried about the whole "look, we can go open world too!" trend Dragon Age: Inquisition is a perfect example of this: while not a bad game by any stretch, its going open world basically meant "ok, let's put like 25% of the important stuff around this area. The remaining 75%? I don't know, come up with some kind of fetch quests or pointless collectable puzzles" Also, I have this theory that open world games don't allow to focus that much on unique level design and scripts
thats every AAA game right now. it sucks. Open World doesn't make ur game necessarily better, just more unfocused
I never liked Chrono Trigger as much as other RPGs. I like the music and that's it.
I've never gotten into an JRPGs. That's not to say I think they're bad, I totally recognize that a lot of them are fantastic games. I've just never wanted to play one for any significant amount of time. That said, I've always been interested in Persona.
I fucking hate Carlsberg.
I fucking hate Carlsberg.
I fucking hate most mainstream beers. Not because I'm a hipster but because they are legit bad.
I never liked Chrono Trigger as much as other RPGs. I like the music and that's it.
I tried to play it but I didn't like how the enemies reset every time you leave and come back to a room. That and the battle system involving your opponent attacking when you're not doing anything. Already set the battle options to sit there but they never did so.
Stepdad's said before that teenagers and preteens being depressed is a joke because they have nothing to be depressed about and they don't know how easy they have it.
My dad used to angrily say that I had "nothing to think about other than X and school" if I managed to forget something, which is probably a chief reason the only place I talk about my depression is here, since nobody I know IRL goes here and looks at the threads I post those comments in. I always just figured my dad'd give that exact response, so I found an anonymous outlet that shouldn't ever make its way to my friends and family unless some asshole goes through the trouble of doxxing me off of the two pictures of my face I've posted and finds the picture of my jacket that has my name stitched onto it. But onto an unpopular opinion so I'm not shitting up the thread entirely: There is no fucking reason tests like the ACT should be timed. It's something every college around me uses as an entry, but I'm going to have to retake it because my math score is going to be shit due to my inability to rush through math problems. There are 60 problems on the test, and you know how long we had to do it? 60 fucking minutes. It's just so fucking bullshit. If you do what they teach you to do your entire school career and take your time to make sure you're right, you're fucked.
If everyone is timed the same amount then it really doesn't matter, though. ACT is about how good you can take tests under pressure
I can handle pressure fine, the issue is running out of time. Doing shit as fast as I could the whole time and going with the "you've answered it, who gives a fuck if it's right move on" mindset, there's no way I can do that. At a certain point, it becomes "how lucky are you" when you have to fill in all the bubbles you didn't answer randomly because you hit the five minute warning 3 minutes ago. In terms of pressure, the literal only time I felt any sort of real stress was whenever a five minute warning was called and I had more than 10 problems left to go. Like there's already enough pressure, since, if you're taking the ACT it's probably because you want to go to college and can't without, they don't need to make it where it's impossible to complete unless your brain is actually a computer.
I want to rant about the Souls series (That includes Bloodborne) First things first, I love the Souls series, the only one I didn't like is Demon's. I have many hours in DaS1 and 2 while also currently enjoying Blood. But the biggest thing I want to get off my chest: I think Dark Souls 2 is the best one and gets too much flak, while also thinking the Miyazaki games are overrated. (Which is all of them but 2.) Don't get me wrong, I loved Das1 and is currently loving Bloodborne, but I personally think they are not as "perfect" everyone says. While I do think 2 has some flaws, I think they get blown way out of proportions. And what really annoys me is when people sight the Matthewmatosis video as the "Word of God" on why DaS2 is "bad" or "disappointing". While he does have some points that I agree with, most of the video is him nitpicking some lore/story bits or some minor gameplay changes. Hell, there are some things in Bloodborne that I think are a step backwards, even from Das1. For one, I hate how they pretty much brought back the herbs from Demon's in the form of the Blood Vials. Having to farm them or buy them just gets tedious overtime and would have just preferred something closer to the Estus Flask. I have some other gripes, but I don't want to bore you guys with petty rants.
i don't want to respond to this entire post with a counter argument but really most of my disappointment with DaS2 is mostly in terms of world building. one of the things i absolutely love about DS1 is how the world is entirely connected with everything making sense where it is, and being able to see other sections from various points. it really made it feel like you were on a journey and i enjoyed every area a lot more because of it. nothing in DaS 2 wow-d me like setting foot in Anor Londo or Ash Lake for the first time, and everything having geographical errors just watered down the entire experience. [editline]1st April 2015[/editline] ALSO my unpopular opinion cold pizza is fucking disgusting
ALSO my unpopular opinion cold pizza is fucking disgusting
I've never met anyone who likes eating cold pizza.

Even more so than Bloodborne's.
I've never met anyone who likes eating cold pizza.
Well hey there I'm Anthony and I like cold pizza
The Thing is an awesome movie but I would had loved a movie where the thing actually managed to escape and infect the rest of the world.
The first scooby doo live action film was funny and good fite me
The first scooby doo live action film was funny and good fite me
The first one was good because they hid some adult humor in there, like the girl Shaggy meets being named "Mary Jane" and him saying that's his favorite name, or when Fred and Daphne switch bodies and Fred comments that he should look at himself naked in the mirror. The rest were all awful though.
