I get what you mean, I didn't mean that one should consider his heritage as an achievement, but rather that he shouldn't be afraid to express himself in his respective cultural ways.
Granted, "being proud" may be a bit badly worded. It's more about not being afraid of your heritage, and not seeing is as something negative, as a stigma. Obviously that's a very broad subject, not all traditions fit in a civilized world and so on.
Basically, it's lovely to see a British man eating traditional British food, to see a German partying at the Oktoberfest, to see an American celebrating his independence day. It's not a personal achievement, but it's the heritage of an individual which has molded him, and this is not a bad thing at all.
I dunno if that many people are actually afraid of their heritage. When you say it like that, what I picture is someone who secretly likes their country's traditions and stuff but doesn't show it for fear of being viewed negatively, and I'm not sure if that really happens a lot. If it does, then yes, I agree.
But what I personally see happening more often is people genuinely disliking their culture, in which case I actually think it's fine. Yes, it's refreshing to see someone upholding their traditions, but either way trying to make any kind of argument for or against it is kind of pointless since liking or disliking stuff usually isn't a conscious decision you make.
I don't like Pizza Hut. This has everything to do with one simple problem. Why in the hell do they feel the need to put so much fucking grease on everything. The pizza is fucking covered in grease and you can't even touch the fucking thing without feeling the need to wash your hands. I would actually consider eating pizza with a fork just so I could avoid the nasty ass feeling of having grease all over my fuckin' hands.
I would still eat Pizza Hut any day over the horse shit Papa John's is selling though

have you attempted blotting your slice with some paper towel quickly? just a dab tends to get rid of a good bit of grease.
Never liked chain pizza all that much, and in my experience I don't know anyone who truly head over herls likes peperonni pizza compared to other, better toppings like ham+pinapple.
Aw who am I kidding I'd still eat a slice or two of the stuff. I'd just prefer my green peppers and onions.
But you know, that's the glory of Pizza you can put whatever the fuck you want on it.
Israel should have never been formed at all.
Never.
An unpopular opinion where I live is that Obama is not the worst thing ever. He does some things I definitely disagree with, but the country is as I understand it a lot better than it was in 2008 so I'm chill with it. As history as shown us, responding to something happening that you don't like by kicking and screaming the whole way just makes everything a fucking mess, and I think his presidency would have gone a lot better than it has if the GOP wasn't doing just that for every single minute thing he does. At the end of the day, he's neither the best president nor the worst president.

What I've never understood is that everyone pushes for the right for self determination but will wheel right around and say that Israel shouldn't exist.
If mass debate was still around a pizza topping thread would be apt
Tbh I like everything except anchovies, onions, or anything dumb like PINEAPPLES
seriously fruit has no place on pizza. fight me.

Pineapple = best topping, especially paired with ham for a delicous Hawaiian Pizza.

How can you have pizza without tomato?
Yes, because the argonians in Oblivion looked fucking phenominal
[t]http://gamervets.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Argonian-Oblivion-vs-Skyrim.bmp[/t]
I'll say this, skyrim, while a tad more dull in terms of world and quests, was still more fun to play than oblivion or morrowind to me. mainly because i actually felt engaged in the combat, which was a big chunk in all three of the 3D elder scrolls titles, and essentially the entire game in the ones before it.
While i think there are a lot of things wrong with it, i still think Skyrim is the best in the series, even if it's predecessors did certain things better, Skyrim as a whole is better than the others.
Skyrim's combat is better than Oblivion's but it's still pretty bad, it's sad you need like 10 different gameplay changing mods to make it even remotely challenging and engaging to play.
What held up Oblivion was the quests and world that like you said Skyrim lacks, and when you throw that in with what is still rather bad gameplay the end result isn't that great.
really onions are just fantastic in general.
make me a pan of some sautéed onions and i could eat just that.
How can you have pizza without tomato?
Tomatos are a vegetable that happens to be a fruit.
I think pineapple makes a nice contrast but it needs to be paired with the right toppings for best effect. Like ham, ham is pineapple's best partner.
Bacon is okay.
Pineapple = best topping, especially paired with ham for a delicous Hawaiian Pizza.
Shouldn't a Hawaiian pizza have spam on it?
I would honestly enjoy eating pizza without cheese and sauce and just the toppings on bread, but I'm afraid if I ordered one like that it would somehow mess up and the stuff wouldn't stick.
Also pulled pork sounds like a good pizza topping but Dominos in Australia manages to make it lame as heck.
I'm not sure where it stands on popularity, but I feel like Morrowind was the only one of the three (+ Oblivion and Skyrim) that got the player narrative right. Oblivion had you as an errand boy, and Skyrim strapped you in the demigod seat in no time flat. Morrowind felt like it had the nice build-up to your power and the least amount of forcing/helping hands in guiding you that way. It arguably has the best and quickest intro of the three, rather than forcing you to play through tutorial sequences.

I think it's great alongside some hot topping, but not really on its own
pineapple is awesome alone

I know Unpopular Opinions doesn't move very fast, but I believe the next thread's title should be "My Pizza Topping is Better than Yours!".
I through everything on the pizza with the exception of pineapple. The sweetness is too much of a contrast, in my opinion. Everything else, including peppers (especially spicy), jalepenos, olives, pepperoni, and sausage (all kinds) are awesome.
pineapple is awesome alone
pineapple is literally candy fruit
for all the people who don't understand why pepperoni is shit:

But Israel is a country that was forcefully made with religion in mind.
And that is a huge mistake.

tomato is the only exception

It was incited by British policies and treatment of Jews in the region

Don't ask me, I'm not the one saying it.
Super Smash Bros needs more Castlevania.
