Using the term Mongoloid to degrade someone is racist and they should be shunned for using it
the fact that people let things like that on tumblr ("sjws", otherkin, etc. etc.) really upset them is silly overall.
I only have an issue with this kind of shit if they start trying to affect the lives of others. If people want to moan about how everyone and their dog is racist, they're free to do that, but if they're going to tell other people not to eat bananas because it's cultural appropriation or some shit, they can go bugger themselves.

oh yeah ofc i agree with you there(idk if there was a misunderstanding i had w/ your original post) but there's been lots of posts recently with people flipping out about things on the internet where it's really just kinda pathetic.
this is kinda off your post and more onto my previous one but i read a post a few months ago where a guy flipped out over anita sarkessian and said he was losing sleep over something involving gamergate i think? if stuff like that upsets you to that degree you need to take a break from the internet

Well, I'm going to go to any lengths possible to avoid this thread becoming a GamerGate thread (since we already have one of those), but I think it's a little bit different to otherkin and shit- GamerGate, regardless of your stance on it, and the topics it covers have a definite effect on people's livelihoods and hobbies, so I think losing sleep on it, whilst an extreme reaction, might well be justified.

In the first place, GamerGate made some sense and wasn't intense (at least I talked to people who weren't wrapped up in it), but in less than a month it went insanely overboard.
I don't hate otherkin/ furries. I really don't have any issue with them strongly associating with animals or being attracted to anthropomorphic ones unless they actually tell people not to do stuff because it 'triggers' them or they start doing shit with real animals. I find it really weird how utterly outraged some people get over the fact that they exist.
nah man ive got a bro who claims he's a wolf therian and it is the weirdest shit talking about his spirit and his pack and past life shit. Then he tries to make every single thing in his life about wolves and its cringy and weird
The cult of personality around Edward Snowden and the one around Julian Assange are North Korea levels of disturbing.

I wish people understood the difference between "accepting" something/someone and "tolerating" something/someone.

Is there actually something different or is it just mentality?

I'm pretty certain that what you can taste on your tongue when you're sipping a drink makes some difference. To me, even drinks that have been poured from a can into a glass still have a slight metallic tang, but it's definitely a lot more prominent when you're drinking straight out of the can.

I don't know man but, Han is pretty lame, he's a being of cold howling mist, or Ghisguth who is a giant blob of jello.
frozen was a fucking awful, poorly written trainwreck of a movie and was disney's absolute worst cinematic piece yet. nothing but absolute disappointment.

Maybe he's not the lamest.
But he's overrated.

I like the new Courage

People say the CGI looks generic and doesn't fit the show, but I think it looks polished and artistic, plus the added depth and darkness accompanies the horror theme while still keeping the same cartoon style.
If I wanted nostalgia I'd watch the old episodes, but a reboot needs something new to get my interest.
Wait, wait, wait: a NEW Courage? Since when ...?!
I've just seen a preview and the new 3D style doesn't hold a single candle to the classic animation. Which is the main reason I oppose CGI animation in general
A reboot pilot episode was shown at conventions in 2014, and recently hit YouTube:

In that image, Eustace and Muriel look like action figures. They're lifeless.
That's probably because they're not moving.
HOW DARE THEY REMAKE COURAGE. THE WHOLE CREEPY CARTOON WAS WHAT MADE IT MESSED UP

Something still looks off when watching it, like the 3D doesn't carries the tone well enough. It doesn't feel like a finished product, even.
