I think it might be the whole theme around 3D CGI is basically a little kids show style.
I only ever see like 1-4y/o cartoons with that type of animation so it just makes it look really family friendly and watered down as such
HOW DARE THEY REMAKE COURAGE. THE WHOLE CREEPY CARTOON WAS WHAT MADE IT MESSED UP
IT WAS THE BEST.
YOU CAN'T DISS COURAGE.
On-topic: GTA games are way way too immersive for me.
I think the CGI is just enough dark and unusual to stand out. It kinda looks like one of those CGI shorts you find on Youtube.
Something still looks off when watching it, like the 3D doesn't carries the tone well enough. It doesn't feel like a finished product, even.
probably because it was a pilot episode, a proposal.

I think they could actually use that to their advantage. Use a cg artstyle and then contrast it with some fucked up shit
I think the Shiba Inu is a pretty boring dog breed. I've always thought they were a boring dog and never understood why people shit themselves over them and then the fucking doge meme happened and EVERYONE wanted one which just made me dislike the breed even more since I was seeing it everywhere.
I think they're cute but not as cute as people make them out to be.
A reboot pilot episode was shown at conventions in 2014, and recently hit YouTube:

Eustace sounds so different and I honestly don't like it.
Eustace original voice actor died some time ago. This one is another guy.
I think GTA V's story is the best of the series, though Franklin's character was really boring and didn't have any depth.

Didnt they say that they were going to do more with Franklin than they ended up doing? Thats exactly what it felt like, he has this whole backstory of trying to get away from his gang and that lifestyle but it never gets any development
I don't like Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. I constantly hear from my peers about how great and wonderful it is, and while I generally agree with it's viewpoints, I find the show often seems to cherrypick facts, take quotes out of context or generally not try to also explain things from the other side.
I'm an autocrat and support the idea of imperialism. I also recognise that these two things can go horrendously wrong
Traditional (actual) poetry is garbage.
Every time I read it I feel like burning my English book.
Life is Strange is pretty damn great. Some of the dialogue can definitely be cringy as shit, but overall it's a solid experience.
I really hope Dontnod get some better writers and keep going in this route, because they have the potential to do it better than Telltale.
I don't mind ghostwriters, as long as the artist isn't disingenuous about it.
Like, Dr. Dre is well-known for having his raps written for him, but it doesn't change the fact that he produced two of the best hip-hop albums ever.

As with any medium, quality and style largely varies between artists.
I used to be completely uninterested in poetry, but then I discovered a number of writers that could really pen some beautiful stuff.
It definitely isn't a medium for everybody (unless you count song lyrics), but that doesn't mean it lacks merit.
PC game releases should ditch DVDs in favour of Blu Ray. While i understand that game sales are leaning towards digital releases, Canada (and probably the United States) hasn't quite caught up with the rest of the world in terms of Internet service.

Would love to read what was left out.

All they really need is an American/British editor (or more accurately, a "prevent-the-dialogue-from-sounding-like-a-middle-aged-french-guy-pretending-to-be-a-hipster-girl"-ilizer) and I think the reception would be much better. It still has polaroid cameras and other hipstery things, but honestly the mechanics are really interesting and it's more stable than Telltale could ever hope to have their games.

Imagine how it is over here.
I really don't like Zero Punctuation. Yahtzee is just too negative for me.
Which is kind of ironic because I'm somewhat of a negative person.
I'm an autocrat and support the idea of imperialism. I also recognise that these two things can go horrendously wrong
I've been called an imperialist but I staunchly appose the idea of autocracy. While I'm not opposed to a monarchy, I feel that it's power should be balanced with a parliament.
Autocracy just ends up shitty for everyone.
Monarchies are an archaic form of government and it's ridiculous that we have constitutional versions of it in modern times.
Monarchies are an archaic form of government and it's ridiculous that we have constitutional versions of it in modern times.
Most kings and queens in nowadays world have been reduced to heads of the state, basically individuals who represent their country on the internation scene and have limited constitutional powers
Even the UK monarchy may as well be described as a figurehead, because there the political scene is a one-man show featuring the prime minister

It's pretty depressing that there are still people born in to power, that is their god given right. From birth these people are supposedly superior to us, and I hate that idea so much

I like the way the Queen acts. She doesn't act above everyone else. She pretty much acts like everyones' nan in a way.
The basic history of the Roman Empire, mainly its administration and ways of governing, should be taught in schools as an example of autocratic rule and its faults. Not just "they were corrupt", but just point out why they were corrupt, and why that system doesn't work like its said to

We actually have it pretty nice over here compared to the European countries and Australia/NZ. The problems we have here is just that ISPs are money-grubbing assholes and our government is still run by old men who think the internet is the spawn of Satan.

I agree with you about the Blu-Ray stuff, but the western hemisphere has much better internet quality of service than the east.

I'd rather not have to buy a blu ray drive just to install games. Switching disks takes like 3 seconds.

Constitutional monarchies are probably the most stable form of government.
