My only MAJOR problem with the game is that the Founders and Vox didn't get explored enough. The Vox were overly simplified and the idea of the Founders worshiping the founding fathers was only really prevalent for the first portion of the game.
Yu Gi Oh GX is great. People that hate on it just for being different than the first Yu gi oh forget about all the stupid decisions they made while writing the first generation Yu Gi oh cartoon.
GX's main issue IMO was how long it took to actually start a legit storyline. Like the first 1/3 of the show was just lame 1-2 episode plotlines with gimmick villains. Jaden, though, was my favorite protag until Arc V. He just seemed to have fun with the game without being obnoxious. Plus E-Heros are by far the best protagonist archetype, minus that neo-spacian crap. Also incredibly unpopular and bias YGO opinion that only one or 2 of you will understand but Bujins are the best overall archetype. And Inzektor Hornet is an overrated pile of shit that deserves it's limited status.
I miss polyphonic ringtones. There's a certain charm to them that can't be replaced by the current thing of using actual music as your ringtone.
Every problem in Infinite can be summed up with the word "unfocused." Too many ideas were thrown around and weren't consolidated well at all, but people still like the mess that it is because its an interesting, pretty mess.
I miss polyphonic ringtones. There's a certain charm to them that can't be replaced by the current thing of using actual music as your ringtone.
There's also a certain charm to keeping your phone on vibrate.
First one's setting is MUCH better, though.
Gotta disagree. i'm more about that sunshine and 1910's vibe.
Lindsey Stirling is overrated. It's like the most pretentious hipster music, its fucking dubstep and violin. I hear people all the time talk about how creative it is to use the violin with dubstep, how it gives it "class", when in reality its just a way to try and be quirky and different. It also sounds like shit and very samey for every one of her songs.

I was always the underground kinda of person. I love things even more when there's little people that like it. I'm trying to break that habit but it's difficult to say the least.
There's also a certain charm to keeping your phone on vibrate.
I like to just have a beep, and that's all. IMO long ringtones are just unnecessary and annoying.
Heath Ledger really wasn't that great of a joker. In my opinion, the movie only garnered as much success as it did because of his death. The fact is the character he played was nothing like The Joker in the comics but thanks to the success of the film, every fucking comic book writer since then (see grant morrison) has pegged joker as the movie portrayl when I think he's way deeper than the movie gives him credit for. Tl;dr heath was overrated as fuck
The fact is the character he played was nothing like The Joker in the comics
Maybe it's because I haven't read that many Batman comics but aside from gold and silver age, I thought he was a cold-blooded, terrifying psychopath?

Jack Nicholson was closer to the character in the comics. There I said it.
There's already the gamble of not getting the job, but you'll be paying for that gamble the rest of your fucking life. Someone told me I was lazy for not going out and getting an education, but the fact of the matter is, I'm not 100% sure of what I want to do with my life, and if I'm not 100%, I'm not doing it. I wanted to go to film school, but that's basically a fucking joke now due to the Nova Scotia tax cut.
You can't use that "Well I'm not sure!" thing forever though. I'm not saying you are, but that can hold you back just as easily as diving in blindly.
Since I discovered recently this is an unpopular opinion, Iron Man 3 is a fucking pile of garbage
Jack Nicholson was closer to the character in the comics. There I said it.
Of course he was. Heath Ledger's Joker was a reflection of the Batman from Christopher Nolan's Batman series. If you think Heath's Joker is bad because he's not like the one from the comics you completely missed the point. It's like complaining that The Killing Joke didn't capture the Joker's personality from his appearances in the 40s.

I don't know why people constantly have to throw around buzzwords like "hipster", "class", "creative", etc, I don't care about any of the drama and I don't see why people need to constantly inject it into the conversation. Just enjoy the music, or if you don't like it, don't listen to it. The same can be said for nearly any other genre and/or artist. Don't make a big fuss over it, just sit down and listen.
Since I discovered recently this is an unpopular opinion, Iron Man 3 is a fucking pile of garbage
How do you feel about the other two films? Most people, myself included, think the first and the third were pretty good while the second was the weakest.
The only good part of Iron Man 3 was the Mandarin reveal.
How do you feel about the other two films? Most people, myself included, think the first and the third were pretty good while the second was the weakest.
I'm not a big fan of Extremis being a very thinly-disguised '90% of your brain' bullshit, nor can I make sense of Tony[sp]deciding to blow up all of his suits, even in context. No, I don't care if he made some deep realisation about his condition, depriving the Avengers of a team member only months after fending off an alien invasion is fucking dumb.[/sp]
How do you feel about the other two films? You can picture how well that went
The only good part of Iron Man 3 was the Mandarin reveal.
Don't TEASE me.
The phrase "it is better to have loved and lost than have never loved at all" is absolute bullshit.
The phrase "it is better to have loved and lost than have never loved at all" is absolute bullshit.
Then you're remembering the lost too much more than the love before it.
When people say "you don't know what real food tastes like" when I say I don't like vegetables or iffy on someone else's homecooked stuff. Shut the fuck up imaginary person, you don't know my tongue, I can decide for myself what I like and what I don't like. Don't go assuming you're the only one who knows the real deal. You don't know shit. I'm not eating imaginary food like Peter fucking Pan in Hook. Also, I don't like Peter Pan or all that Neverland milarky, just Tinker Bell. I tune out all stuff relating to the actual book or film or mythos or whatever you want to call it and only see the Tink. Just wanted to get that out there. Lastly, I don't like A Song of Ice and Fire, and have absolutely no idea why people like it. Even when people tell me why it sounds like they're talking about a completely different series, or it's "there's SEX in it, sex!" Why do people like it? It's a well-written and well-presented series of books and tv show but there's no investment in the characters for me, and for the most part the world is dull. It's like the opposite of Deadly Premonition to me.

Whereas so much fantasy stuff out there follows Tolkien's medieval formula very closely it seems
star wars prequel trilogy is good
I personally like ASOIAF because it's a fantasy series that downplays or subverts typical fantasy elements. Whereas so much fantasy stuff out there follows Tolkien's medieval formula very closely it seems
Well, I like fantasy stuff. Like, I still think elves are cool. There are no elves in whatsitsfaceland, and neither would there be dragons if grrMartin wasn't married. You might as well read a history book. Like, really, read a book like Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it's Game of Thrones without as many pricks and mostly history. Or play Dynasty Warriors and kick arse then read the ingame encyclopedia. I don't read a fantasy book for dickitry and sexism. I read it for fantasty and magic and shit like that.
Some of metal gears over the top characters and plot detract from enjoying the game. Kojima does his thing and all that yeah, but over the years as he got more outlandish I just started saying to myself this is actually really stupid and not fun. Revengance, aside of course, because it's self aware and fun.
The phrase "it is better to have loved and lost than have never loved at all" is absolute bullshit.
Love and loss builds character.
Then you're remembering the lost too much more than the love before it.
sometimes the love turned out to be completely fake, and it makes everything a lot worse
