Smart cars still take the number 1 spot for me.
New shape mini coopers. They're not mini at fucking all.
I have a predisposed prejudice in which I immediately imagine that anyone who has either an MLP, cropped hentai or furry avatar is insufferable.
Sounds like a miserable life to me. I mean, I can understand the hentai one, but do you seriously get that worked up over someone with a pony avatar? As long as they aren't forcing ponies down my throat I really don't give a shit.
MGR is the most overrated one of them all. there's really not a lot to its combat system and the last quarter of the game is incredibly rushed.
yeah nnah though
MGR is the most overrated one of them all. there's really not a lot to its combat system and the last quarter of the game is incredibly rushed.
Metal Gear Solid 3 is the most overrated. Instead of focusing on heavy themes like the first two games did, it went for simpler a simpler theme of just loyalty, and the overall writing and acting was just mediocre at best.
Entire game industry blows to be honest. Everyone's running a dairy farm and it's really killing my passion I had for video games. I can't even look forward to playing them. Killing Floor 2 will probably have some bullshit P2W 10 dollar weapons pack. The Division is going to be shit, it's Ubisoft. One of the greatest video game series, GTA, even put in microtransactions, and it really just fucked up their multiplayer. It's a shell of what it could have been. Pretty much any AAA game is guaranteed to be low quality, full of nickle and diming, or both. Assassin's Creed? Enjoy paying for "unlocking the full map" and other minor bullshit that 10 years ago would have been an in-game unlockable! Indie games, they'll never be finished. Fucking Starbound, I think nations have risen and fallen in the time it's been in development. Reading the website updates is like reading live news feed from the snail olympics. Hell, you can't even trust indie games to ever be finished, buyer beware. Nintendo games are slowly transitioning to the dairy farms (they're years behind everyone else, as always), going DLC power crazy with no significant improvements in their game series. It's all the same shit from 10 years ago, or worse. They make more handheld models than Apple does Iphones. (not really but you know what I mean) There's no passion anymore. Probs not an unpopular opinion, of course.
Actually one of the more longer development times for an Indie game is The Trench: 1916, which was started back in 2001. It's been worked on by one guy and his friend since then in their spare time. Literal nations have risen and fallen in that time. But uh, there are a lot of good Indie games out there that I enjoy (and are recent). Apotheon is a really cool sidescroller where you're basically playing out a Greek Legend on an Ancient Greek Urn, Verdun is one of the best Multiplayer FPS's I've ever played (and benefited heavily from it's Early Access period. A game like Verdun is the poster child for EA and Greenlight success stories and games that should be using both systems). Running with Rifles as well. While I agree some level of pessimism is needed, I think you take it just a bit too far. [editline]24th April 2015[/editline] though don't get me wrong, I've lost all hope and trust and faith in valve after this mod thing.
I really hate how bulgy and inflated cars have become I know it's due to safety regulations but I I miss my tiny early 90's car. Also. all the shit inside cars now Like I don't want a fucking touch screen for my dashboard just give me basic climate controls and an AUX port.

I would buy one of those if it didn't cost both of my kidneys and half a lung.

[editline]24th April 2015[/editline] Volgin's probably my favorite MGS antagonist and his whole schtick is being a completely irredeemable asshole

Hell, you can't even trust indie games to ever be finished, buyer beware.
I don't disagree that Starbound's development team is having some serious issues but you're massively exaggerating how long it's been in development. It's original release date was December 4th, 2013 and it was only in development since earlier that year too. That's not even two full years of development. Even for an indie game, at least one of the intended scale of Starbound, that's not atrocious. If you really want to criticize an indie dev you should go after Wollay for Cubeworld where his last communication was June 30th of last year and the last update to his game was like the October before that or something. While the stable line for Starbound may have gone a year without an update at least they had the beta and nightly builds and communicated with the community. Wollay is just flat out completely incompetent when it comes to his community and he seriously needs to do something about it before he completely kills off any community his game could still muster.
I forgot Cubeworld existed until you just mentioned it tbh
and an AUX port.
I don't even have one of those :v:
I think MOBAs are ruining competitive gaming, but this is really just a personal bias against those types of games. I feel more "detached" when controlling a MOBA character. You're one guy, using RTS controls meant for entire armies. Smite fixes this sort of with WASD and mouse look 3rd person, but LoL and Dota are garbage to me. I have much more respect for professional CS, Quake, UT, ect.

It's just totally incomprehensible.
I will say that it is NOT incomprehensible, it's just the fact that it has so many elements in it that to an individual who has never played such a game will have a hard time understanding it. The problem with mobas is that they are games with a really big entry level (dota has the highest out of all of them) and to know it really well, you need to spend atleast 100 games to just normally understand what is going on and more hours are needed to get more out of em (maybe not 100, but you get the idea). But the thing is, you can never be perfect in Mobas. And i can see the reason why people watch it since it allows them to see another level of the game. CS/Quake/UT are much more approachable since they are FPS games which are usually all with the same basic WASD controls that even every fucking kid understand them since they make sense and it's an easier game to watch (for most people) and you can pick them up much easier without any kind of practice. TL;DR: Mobas are games like an onion with gigantic entry layers, FPS games have a lesser amount of entry layers. Payday 2's atmosphere is worse than Payday: The Heist's. Just an FYI, i spent 1.3k hours on Dota 2 and 410 of csgo. So just incase you want to know how too deep i am into this shit.
Can we all finally admit Minecraft sucks?
People have the right to be compensated for goods/services they provide.
Can we all finally admit Minecraft sucks?
Minecraft it's a nice game, I play it from time to time just to relax and move blocks around The community around it in the other hand...
How hard is it to just not buy something you don't think is worth buying?
Can we all finally admit Minecraft sucks?
I once tried it, got bored after 1 hour and never touched it again
I think Minecraft is an amazing game. I never really played with the "community", only close IRL friends. We would make giant cities and stuff and have a grand old time. I never had any Notch hatred or anything. I really don't care if it's a game that a ton of 8 year olds play, I rather have them play that than something else. It's probably a good game to grow up playing.
Can we all finally admit Minecraft sucks?
It's not bad, it's just not nearly as good as it was a few years ago and its popularity is what really killed it. I know that makes me sound like a hipster but most other people would agree with me.
Can we all finally admit Minecraft sucks?
Don't know it gives my nephew something else to talk bout other then pokeman.
The Citroën C4 Cactus is the ugliest fuckin' car I've ever seen
[thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/ac/Festival_automobile_international_2014_-_Citro%C3%ABn_C-Cactus_-_002.jpg[/thumb] Everything about this is hideous. The headlights, the rims, the permanent scowl that makes it always look pissed off, the modern 2010s version of wood paneling. I wouldn't want to be caught standing near this thing.
hell I like it a lot more than all the other bland cars I see every day
i don't know how unpopular this is anymore but i think valve is a shitty company and has been for the past 5 or so years
I didn't mention Cubeworld because I thought it was cancelled :v:
I can see how you might make that mistake, lol. That's the sort of thing that only goes to prove what I'm saying about Wollay killing off his community too. Out of everyone I personally talk to who plays the game only myself and one other are actually aware it hasn't just been cancelled. People have tweeted at Wollay repeatedly about this issue but he has yet to address it. A lot of his issues could have been addressed anyways by simply not insisting he has to do 100% of everything himself. (See: Refusing any help when his servers got ddosed as well as insisting he has to write the site's forum software rather than using one of the numerous free forum softwares or something else actually logical like that.)
I don't care for religion. I don't understand Thanksgiving and I question what it is even about. I didn't like GCSE and A-Level History because all we did was talk about 1920s USA, Wall Srreet Crash and the Great Gatsby's context. I really don't want to sound Anti-USA ( though I dislike a lot about it so that's difficult ) but it's soooooooooo boring. I wanted to learn about Medicine and Russian history but the majority of our work on those topics was removed and replaced with more about the stock market in 1920s. Don't want to add insult to injury here but America does not equal USA. America is not a country. It's two continents. This isn't specific to US citizens. I remember in a Geography lesson we did this team competition thing and the team names were continents. "The Americas" was the winning group. Notice the s. Even better, the members of the team started chanting "USA! USA!". Die.
