GG great thread
Why? Because it's fucking fun. I know a lot of facepuncher don't like going out and would rather stick to themselfs and that's aight. But this is fun.

tbh i agree with him. maybe you'll look like a shithead atm but you're not going to care and the time out with friends is honestly great fun.
This dude gets me ^
Opera Turbo is the only reason to use opera.
And it should be adopted by every browser in a way or a two.

But isn't that what you and some other find fun? Why is it that everyone should do it if not everyone finds it fun. To be honest, I would much rather go bowling, because I find that fun.
That's why it's my opinion. I think it's something fun everyone should experience
No thanks, I don't find it fun for entire streets to hate me and wish me and my friends would burn. Because that's how I feel when people do it on my street, especially at night.
You sound like an old grumpy person
everybody should at least once in their life try having a cozy late night gaming session with their friends

I like it to be quiet. Hearing 5+ people screaming when I'm trying to sleep or do something is awful. Try living in a rough area where this happens almost everyday. I struggle to do schoolwork because all I can hear is a group of people making noises for no reason other than "banter" or "for the lolz".
Alcohol is overrated.
The only good alcohol is in viable measures aka a can of beer on one week or 2 dl of the blue frankies wine with some good food with it.
I prefer wine
I prefer wine
I don't, yet for some reason I drank a whole glass of it.

... MY BRO!
Get drunk with friends and then play video games!
Drinking with friends when you have a place to crash is really one of those "must experience" things in life.
For my birthday, I invited like 8 people over and a few of us drank and watched monty python while the others laughed at us being drunk. I don't remember most of the movie, but I do remember I laughed non-stop and had a great night.
You can have a "cozy" drunk gaming night too, but your attention span gets so small you probably will spend more time laughing at each other than playing the game.
my friends and i don't drink but every 2 weeks i invite them over to my house to watch movies and play video games and its the only thing that gets me through the week
I prefer the quiet, I don't mind loud raucous stuff when it's warranted, like say at a rock concert or the like but yelling in a theater while I try to watch a movie pisses me off.

My mum once threw her shoe at a man that was laughing and shouting really loud whenever something happened in the film being played at a cinema because he was making so much noise during a sad death scene.

This is why I gave up on the cinema here, the crowds have no concept of keeping silent during a show, screaming their lungs out whenever their idols arrive onscreen or bawling their eyes out if somebody dies, don't forget neighing like horses whenever a comedic sequence occurs.
I'm getting really sick of people depicting bows in futuristic settings.
Hold tight, this is a big one
After leaving Half-Life 2 and its two episodes in my Steam backlog for a long time, I decided to take them on and now I've just started Episode Two
Now, I know that some games don't age that well and that most of the features that made Half-Life in general stand out like a diamond in the dust (scripted events and interactable environments and NPCs) are now the standards of any modern fps, but I found all three extremely BORING
The main formula is about finding in each map where the developers wanted you to go and do exactly what you are supposed to, while the fights are either too easy and predictable or extremely challenging due to bad enemies positioning and the small time you are given to react
More than once I had to stop playing Half-Life 2 due to how frustrating a particular sequence was
The only things I like about the sequel are the Combine and the Vortigaunt, which unique traits and backgrounds are out of focus for most of the game, so good riddance to that
Also, but this could be another post entirely, I fail to see Alyx has one of the sexiest babes from videogames ever
i hate Everybody Dance Now
Dude, how can you hate that song? I'm looking at Billboard's top 100 from 1990 and I see some songs on there that are WAY worse.
i wish i had friends to do things with
It kinda sucks that Japanese restaurants treat their hot food like an afterthought. It's almost always sushi.
Almost every Japanese place I go to has a good blend of hot meals and sushi. I think you could reasonably expect sushi to get maybe a quarter of the menu at any given place, unless the restaurant has SUSHI somewhere in the title. There's a lot of Japanese people and restaurants where I live though, so maaaybe that has something to do with it. I dunno.
But I think that maybe people who don't grow up with that kind of culture around them tend to see it as 'Japanese food = sushi' and maybe the operators of such places just tend to go with what the people are going to expect. I could be wrong, though.
I like Lisa Simpson.
On a similar note, I like "Lisa the Vegetarian". Not sure how other people feel to warrant this as an unpopular opinion.
I only ever liked one portrayal of lisa and that was in some treehouse of horrors comic i got years ago, otherwise shes just an annoying little shit, see that one episode where she ruined a bbq.
