It was a legitimate reason to fire him. You can't just go around assaulting people. Being a big BBC star shouldn't suddenly make it OK.
Oh yeah definitely, I just meant the reason BBC fired him immediately and not listened to the dude forgiving him and stuff was because they've been looking for him to cross the line one more time.
Here's an unpopular opinion: I don't give a shit at all about gaming news. I am almost never excited. I don't care about what new game is coming out, or about a new title in a franchise. I have never been hyped for Half-Life 3. I don't follow news sites. It's not interesting. I look back and I see how bizarrely invested people get when it comes to gaming and I feel like people need to chill out. People have always been so anal about Half-Life 3, and so hyped for things like the MGS series. I just don't understand it. The one thing that interests me is Source 2, but other than that I just cannot relate to other people's exaggerated emotions for gaming news/culture/etc.
Why would I not be hyped about MGS? They've literally never had a bad main-series game and several of them rank among my favorite games of all time.

I'm not among the first to go run out and buy things, nor am I compelled to focus a ton on releases. I'll eventually play them.
can someone explain Facepunch's opinion of anime to me? a good chunk of members have anime avatars but the majority of the forum also seems to fiercely hate it so I'm confused I don't care about anime either way

Many users were born with chips implanted into their brains. When they detect that a cartoon was illustrated in a Japanese styling, those chips burn with extreme heat, causing them to lash out in outbursts including, but not limited to, "FUCK OFF". They also like to go on pedo hunts because a lot of anime features girls that look pretty young, because they're also Chris Hansen except with anger issues and stronger superiority complexes. They also bathe in maple syrup, although this is unrelated - I just thought it was interesting. What you can do to help is to change your avatar to an anime picture and post in all threads, including (and especially) the GMF. Soon they will find the will to remove their chips and join in on the Facepunch uguu baka gajin entertainment.

I have no opinion on the matter because I am an anime

Game of Thrones doesn't interest me.
Game of Thrones doesn't interest me.
I can't get through the first season of the show. It's ten different kinds of bad. Gonna give the books a shot soon, hopefully they'll be better.
Pretty split, but the people who hate anime are just as annoying as some of the weaboos I've met on here. It's basically a coin toss.
I'd say people who actively hate a thing are several points worse than the people who like it. It's one thing to be obsessed with a show you love and to try to let other people know about it, it's quite another to be obsessed with a thing that you hate to the point where you actively hunt it and the people who like it just to ridicule it. This goes for everything. The people who go out of their way to insult Bronies are way more annoying than the (still very annoying) Bronies. You should spend your time trying to find things you'll like, not wasting it looking for things you hate.
people are entitled to their opinions and I dont really care whether they like something or not but seriously though kill all anime

During that time I was part of an online forum called "Twilight Sucks". I don't think any further explanation is needed.
Obsessive hatred is easier to maintain than other forms of obsession, because it's always been easier to hate something than like it.
I think it's also extremely easy to maintain a hate you already have. You don't have to keep feeding your hatred with facts or anything like that, just further stereotypes and the type of shit that ends up on Snopes.
Obsessive hatred is easier to maintain than other forms of obsession, because it's always been easier to hate something than like it.
I've always struggled with hating things. I just find it easier to ignore the things I dislike and not deal with them unless I have to. The fact it seems to be the exact opposite for the majority of people has always actually baffled me.
I would have no issue with a federally funded act that standardizes the nation's police equipment and training. It would help cut down on needless purchases from wealthy jurisdictions (like bigass designer Chevies) and would also assist those that are outdated/left behind (like a lot of Rockford's). The standardization could also cut down on corruption, with body cameras being federally required and funded, while simultaneously the force's administration is regulated federally.
Most of the default ringtones that come with modern phones nowadays are so obnoxious.
I think the facecam trend in streaming is incredibly annoying.
I think the facecam trend in streaming is incredibly annoying.
I think the livestreaming trend in general is annoying.
Most of the default ringtones that come with modern phones nowadays are so obnoxious.
I just classic phone ones whenever I can. All the little jingles and shit that come with phones are annoying to me. Although now that I can actually use a custom ringtone, I might get one, who knows.
All facecams are annoying. I don't need to see your greasy face blocking the video, thanks.
there's only one person I watch that does facecam, but that's because his cats sometimes come into the shot and they're ADORABLE BABIES
I think smartphones are overrated. I enjoy my 'dumb' flip-phone with zero internet capabilities just fine. If I want to check facebook, I'll go to a damn computer. [sp]I get harassed a lot for it even though I'm not hurting anyone by owning a flip[/sp]
I think the livestreaming trend in general is annoying.
I get that directly interacting with the streamer is neat but other than that I really don't get the appeal. Though this is coming from someone who has an extremely inconsistent schedule (well not really, it's just not a 24 hour one so it seems inconsistent) so doing things on someone else's schedule simply isn't an option for me. It's more like an miniature computer than simply a phone with an internet browser. This means it can do all sorts of stuff in addition to browsing the web and standard phone stuff.
Honestly, in 2015, even if you can text and call you're still majorly out of the loop in social networking (and real life) without a smartphone. Most people I know barely even use texts or calls any more.
Social networks are overrated. And twitter is shite.
