Only things I use on my smartphone are Whatsapp and Spotify, but I still vastly prefer it over a dumbphone.
I think smartphones are overrated. I enjoy my 'dumb' flip-phone with zero internet capabilities just fine. If I want to check facebook, I'll go to a damn computer. [sp]I get harassed a lot for it even though I'm not hurting anyone by owning a flip[/sp]
Been rocking a flip phone since 2011. The only two reasons I'd ever want a smartphone is for easier texting and a GPS that doesn't suck dick.
tbh we should go back to using smoke signals like the good ol' days
tbh we should go back to using smoke signals like the good ol' days
I'm scared of fire and Thomas Edison was a witch
i fear for this generation... using smoke signals... sure this whole "fire" thing is a great discovery and all but all kids these days do is use fire. just the other day, i came home from hunting expedition with mammoth catch... and guess what son say to me as soon as i arrive? let's "COOK" it with fire. back in my day we ate the mammoth as it was given to us by THE DIRT GOD, and we happily ate it with berries that the gatherers found

[sp]I get harassed a lot for it even though I'm not hurting anyone by owning a flip[/sp]
I would gladly use one and downgrade my current phone to a backup phone in case something happens to my flip. And I'm not just saying this because of my preference of older technology over newer stuff.
I think motorcycles should not be allowed to travel on interstate highways. Not because motorcyclists are bad drivers, but because they're at a far greater risk of injury or death if they get involved in an accident compared to someone in a car with their seatbelt on. It's for their own safety.
No idea if this is unpopular yet, but Baneposting is the greatest. You listen here, Baneposting is more than a meme. Baneposting is a lifestyle.
I didn't say the were inferior nor implied it?
Don't get defensive then. I said if you liked it more, fine.
I did not like the ending to Gladiator. In fact, I hated it. It might be my bias against the idea of a "life after death", but [sp]Maximus just choosing to die instead of continuing to live and continuing to do good things (which he is clearly capable of), really rubbed me the wrong way. And his wounds were not nearly enough to kill him alone, he just stopped fighting because he was told by Lucille to "Go to them". He's had worse injuries, so a stab wound and a slice to the leg killing him off? No siree bob.[/sp] I like the movie as a whole, just not the ending. [editline]2nd May 2015[/editline] This might not be an unpopulat opinion though. I just feel like it is.

Kings and queens are the relic of the past.
I can appreciate it if you in your opinion don't like guns or don't think they're a positive force but holy shit do Europeans need to chill out about guns
I think Americans should chill out about guns as well
I definitely agree there as well, my neighbors have this big sticker on their door that's all like "WE'RE PROUD MEMBERS OF THE NRA AND WE'RE ARMED" it's like chill dudes, just let guns be another thing, being interested in them doesn't make you an instant murderous psycho and being interested in them also doesn't mean you need to shout from the rooftops about how you've got a gun and you're proud and you're just waiting to shoot the first motherfucker what steps foot in your house
I think Americans should chill out about guns as well
The thing about Americans and guns is that, like most issues, we're too polarized about it, it's either "I should be able to buy a machine gun from a hardware store no questions asked and if you knock on my door I'll blow your head off" or "ban poptarts because they look too much like guns and if children are allowed to know what guns look like they'll grow up to be serial killers". Honestly I think that the biggest real issue we have with politics is that we get too caught up in partisan "us versus them" mentality and extremism to actually care about the reality of the situation, an unwillingness to discuss, learn, and above all compromise on political issues causes far more harm than any individual ideology ever can.

Baneposting is a lifestyle.
Baneposting along with Loss and Sweet whatever and the other person are for some reason considered like the best things to ever come out of the shit hole that is lmao pics but I really just do not get them at all. They're some of the unfunniest trash I've ever had the displeasure of seeing.
memes are only good when they're esoteric as fuck and baneposting is far too easy to understand by the masses so its bad (plus its 2015 why are people talking about TDKR lmao it was bad in 2012 its bad in 2015)

Baneposting was never even actually a joke of any sort and it just got spammed everywhere for no reason.
Wasn't the blade covered in hemlock juice?
No mention of that anywhere I can find. It was just a stabwound.
I think it was more that [sp]once his revenge was done, he saw no more of a reason to live, and that he wanted nothing more than to meet his wife and son once more.[/sp]
I know that, but I don't agree with it. Like I said, I dunno if my bias against the idea of an afterlife has something to do with it.
Rapists should be stripped of their rights and be sentenced either to death or lifelong imprisonment with hard manual labor.
2 parties system is dumb as fuck.
Kings and queens are the relic of the past.
So is listening to 60s music and visiting ruins, but I don't see anybody calling for us to get rid of them because of how old they are.
So is listening to 60s music and visiting ruins, but I don't see anybody calling for us to get rid of them because of how old they are.
lots of people ask to get rid of ruins for the sake of progress (eg building over them with something more productive and actively useful to current society) which is the exact same reason people want rid of monarchy
lots of people ask to get rid of ruins for the sake of progress (eg building over them with something more productive and actively useful to current society) which is the exact same reason people want rid of monarchy
Progress is mostly a buzzword anyways used by people who value certain things. Is it really an improvement to get rid of a monarchy? To me, monarchies such as those in Japan or Britain are generally viewed positively by the people there, and removal would be seen badly.
I like the Dark Knight Rises a bit more than TDK, because Bruce Wayne actually has a character arc.
I think the entire Nolan trilogy of Batman movies is awful "SO DARK AND GRITTY GRRRRRR" garbage.
You mean batman is gritty? YOU DONT SAY. [editline]2nd May 2015[/editline] I mean I hate that every movie has to be dark and gritty now, but when a movie comes out; lets say 'Interstellar', and it has some sentimental moments, people roll their eyes and call it schlock.
