ARE YOU MAD MAN. It's a goddam Alfa Romeo Brera, why the hell would you want a BMW over that.

That's a 159 :downs:
Look at it. There's no way you're gonna look as stylish in a BMW. You'll look like a middle-aged businessman, not an Italian playboy.
Yeah I guesss you're right, because even if we got a BMW it wouldn't be an M5 (or any high-range BMW) anyways.
"Futuristic looking Citroen"
I love this car, best looking car I ever seen
I'm split on that one, while it looks somewhat nice, it's also a bit too "extreme" (too futuristic). If they toned down that excess, it could be a sexy car.

The side looks cool, but the front looks overdone. I bet if it were combined with another concept model it would look really nice.
I'd just make you back down on a long stretch. I doubt you have the gearing to keep up over 140. (Or the suspension, or the tires, or a car built to handle it.)
And yea you're talking about all these $2000+ mods... I'm talking about all stock cars. An 03 mustang GT makes 215hp. The newest ones make a lot more, but they're made such low quality I cringed when I walked around one at a dealership... The 09 models are terrible cars. They basically just took some shit stain of a midsized car with economy car brakes and chassis(all stamped suspension components and single piston brakes), and threw a moderately large engine in it. Oh and get this, 17-21mpg posted on the sticker. Depressing how badly made American cars are now. The orange peel on the paint was so bad it almost wasn't glossy, I doubt it had a clear coat.
You must have either been around a really badly used one or are just over-exaggerating. The new ones have great quality. The paint has clear coat and shines very bright. It shines so much that after I waxed mine I can't look directly at it after a wash or I might go temporarily blind. The interior is very very nice. Very simple, unlike my mom's 530i and my dad's Gl 550 where you have to navigate a computer just to turn on the radio. The leather seats are nice and comfortable, alot better than BMW or Mercedes seats that are as hard as marble.
The brakes work fine and are fine. Don't fix what isn't broken. About the mileage, it's a V8, what did you expect?
About the mileage, it's a V8, what did you expect?
Jeremy Clarkson managed to get from London to Edinburgh and back on a single tank of fuel in an Audi A8 with a V8. That was an average of 40MPG. Though it was a diesel V8.

And the trip computer did say 0 miles remaining for a good amount of time. He proved it can be done though.
Wasn't that in the Jaaaaaag from Switzerland to Blackpool?
That Jag is amazing.
I have to admit that I like more racing oriented cars, that look like they can perform, instead of just being designed by some car designer to look like a million.

As you can see, I like the more square and edgy nineties look, or retro as you might say, instead of all the "rounded" modern cars.

Was there any bodies in the trunk perhaps?

Comes with a sexy crank handle.
Pic is old, had it a week, fixed electrics and it runs, painted a little bit of it.
I think you're lying. A Jewish person would never give something away for free.
It's sexy, though.
Old Land Rovers are fucking tight.

Defender, very fucking nice.
So, Refurbish it, paint it black, get new steel plating, equip all your standard Off Roading equipment, and there you go.

That color is actually nice.

You need to watch more Top Gear :colbert:
Sorry. I forgot that episode. I've seen them all.
lol mortician loves his SVX ey! Looking around wikipedia a stock SVX has worse acceleration (1/4 mile) and top speed compared to stock muscle cars made more than 20 years prior to it! It even weighs more than some, and weighs about the same as a 69 dodge charger apparently?. Obviously it would handle a thousand times better though, it is a subaru after all!
But, I am glad I drive an American classic, I am willing to bet most people don't even pay a second glance at the average SVX, I get people offering to buy mine and complimenting it all the time, and hey, they go UP in value.
-edit- LOL! apparently the guy who designed the SVX designed the concept for the new mustang design that mortician seems to hate so much? At least the guy finally figured out how to make something good looking :p
Except every time I pull up to a stop light everyone asks me what the car is, and every time I gas up I get a crowd. Also, it's a touring car, not a drag car, it only does impressive things on the highway and in realistic traffic situations.
As far as top speed, I don't know where you got your info, but mine is a 92 and they didn't put limiters on them till 94. The non-limited cars are fully capable of burying the needle at 160mph on level ground.
Sorry you don't appreciate significant and rare cars.
I can't imagine that, sorry. There are too many cars that look just like it where I live.

I'm sorry but that thing does not draw a crowd.
Saw a nice green Supra with t-tops today.
The thing was obviously modified. Fucking fast - passed people like nothing on a 2-lane highway.

Exactly. Looks like an older eclipse, but the eclipse looks better because the hood isn't completely flat and bleh.
I think Civics and Integras are pretty nice. Does this make me a bad person?

Mmmm.
Not at all. I also quite like them, I just think that some of the Japanese racers(drifters) are quite a bit over the top:

Why did they put the decals on backwards
I guess it's because they want it to be like a reflection of the other side. I don't know, drifters are stupid.

Good point, man! Good point.
So, nobody else that's into rally cars from the eighties and nineties?
I am, I fucking love them. Especially the Audis.
