Supercharged Ariel Atom, great track car and road legal.
And really light.
I wonder why :downs:
In an autocross situation the FSAE car would do better, but on a larger track, yes, it would be better, but I doubt it would be as fun to drive as an FSAE car.
Boxy: Not boxy: Get your shit straight. And whatever that thing is you drive, it's fuck ugly, and why the fuck do only get to open HALF THE WINDOW?
What the fuck are you talking about, neither of those are boxy, this is boxy Anyways, I'm trying to get either a milk/mail truck for my first car, cause I've seen some dealerships nearby that sell them. Something like this except without the decals http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/37/Small_USPS_Truck.jpg Either that, or something that looks like this But in all likelihood I'll end up buying some cheap commercial van and dress it up myself
But in all likelihood I'll end up buying some cheap commercial van and dress it up myself
Remember to get discolights and a waterbed in the back.

Anyone just watch Top Gear? Sad ending, not really what i expected :(.
DON'T RUIN IT I HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET I'm gonna watch it tomorrow.
With C4C (Cash for clunkers) you don't get cash, you get what they give you off when you buy a new car.
Pretty much this, except in red. 170HP 4.0L V6 with 4WD. Not exactly a speed demon, but it has been pretty reliable. Not too bad for a first car. I got it from my parents as a hand-me-down - it's worth $1,000 tops, and insurrance is mad cheap since I get a good student discount and I don't need collision. [editline]03:30PM[/editline] We're considering trading it in with C4C - we could get the full $4,500 for it.
The C4C program is enraging. It forces so many rare and valuable parts cars to be junked and destroyed making it nearly impossible to keep existing cars running and road worthy. Which I guess is the entire purpose of the plan. (When you trade in a car on C4C, the car is left running while they pour molten glass down the intake to seize and destroy the engine. It's sickening to do that to something that runs perfectly fine that someone could use, solely because some green peace bastard can't sleep at night because a car was a point or 2 off on an EPA test.) I wouldn't bother trading it on on something new because you're better off with what you have. After 2001-2002 everything went to shit. Just got a 2001 2 door GMC jimmy with 4wd and 87k miles. Hell of a nice vehicle compared to what's offered from chevy and GMC currently. Matches the 96' GMC Sierra 3500 dually (54k miles) nicely.
Hypocrite. http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=16341811&postcount=135 :argh: But I agree with you, there is no reason to destroy such fine and cheap vehicles.

I haven't had the chance to see the new camaro but all I know is that the challenger is the biggest piece of crap I've had the chance to see. I mean it has some serious build quality issues. First of all, the bumper was so damn flimsy you could push on one side with your pinky and the other side of the bumper would distort and bend down. You could move the grill around, there were obvious differences in the gaps from one side to the other side. They obviously did not try very hard to make the challenger, I just hope the camaro is better.

Doesn't matter whether you buy a base model Cobalt or a Corvette, it has the same build quality, made by the same people, with the same materials. That's what's wrong with American cars. The best things we make are no better than our cheapest economy shitbox. All the American car companies pretty much build the same cars with different badging anymore. The camaro and mustang are so similar it's almost hard to tell them apart from the front.
