OH BOY PLASTIC WOOD I MUST BUY ONE NOW :downswords:
OH BOY PLASTIC WOOD I MUST BUY ONE NOW
AUTOMATIC GEARBOX FUCK YEAH!!! :downs:
RETARDED HANDBRAKE AWESOME :downs:
Seriously that interior looks retarded. It looks like a 6 year old decided the vent placements. Everything seems cluttered and unorganized. The steering wheel is also bleh. It would have been better if the wood laminate parts were only a few pieces instead of 16 of them. Also was it really necessary to make the parking brake handle look like another shifter?
You could get a Skyline R32 GTR for around £6500. R33's are about £10,000 I know that's not considered cheap and it's not a luxury car, but IT'S A FUCKIN SKYRINE!!1
There's r32 gtrs going for as low as 3k these days. Probably fucked but still. You can get a decent r33 for 7k.
Now that is an interior. Just what you need, nothing more, nothing less, and it looks good.
And I went to my friends place and helped him mounting new lights on his Supra lol
oh dear is that a non turbo supra?
VW Golf Mk.2, fuck yeah. One of my mum's old boyfriends had the 16 valve GTi version in black. FUCKING AWESOME.

Yeah, those aren't standard. [editline]06:48PM[/editline] The dash is though, and I fucking love it. I want a Mk.2 Golf.

Mine isn't really shiny, and it's pretty dark. This is a little closer to it: Don't quite understand your reasoning on clutter and vent placement. What's cluttered? Parking brake isn't for acting like an idiot either, if it's anything like my XT6 (which it probably is) the parking brake controls the front wheels. An old corolla for comparison:
Yeah, it's an 80s car. Rice bucket? No.
Yes, of course
:cawg: That looks terrible.
An old corolla for comparison: http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k277/toda20Vpower/86Interior004.jpg
Who the hell butchered a E90 corolla with that lame steering wheel :saddowns:
Who the hell butchered a E90 corolla with that lame steering wheel :saddowns:
They're a damned golf kart to begin with. I think 2 people could lift the front wheels off the ground.
They're a damned golf kart to begin with.
And fun to trash around in
I think 2 people could lift the front wheels off the ground.
Well that's true (from personal experience :v:)
So, Since I posted last in this thread, I got my license and have been driving to school in the mustang (yay me). Just got done doing my weekend project, which was putting on black rocker stripes. Was a total pain in the ass, but I think they came out well. It's drying in my garage right now, and I'm too lazy to get pics while its in there. I'll probably take some tonight or tomorrow.
Don't quite understand your reasoning on clutter and vent placement.
The vents just look odd to me. Big vent in the middle then a tiny vent right next to it and a taller thin one on the other side of the steering wheel plus that one over near the glove box. Just seems unorganized to me. The center console just doesn't..."flow" right, it looks like alot of instruments are place oddly. It's hard to put into words. You should put a racing stripe or two to help balance it out. Just my thoughts.
I guess you'd probably have to sit in it to see why some of the things are the way they are. The only thing confusing about it is that everything is backwards of a GM product. The instruments are like an early 90's GM car so, I don't quite get that comment. The vents are weird, but with all the different materials and lines in the interior, I don't see how they could have done it much different. I find it to be a rather attractive interior as opposed to my 1990 RX7, which is all black leather practically everywhere, and cheap plastic. I wish I had a good picture of that... People would cry tears of blood if they saw my XT6's interior... Maybe you can see the transistion from that to the SVX with a lot of the layout...

It's a Subaru as well.

I actually took it for a put around the street. It's a 2500lb car with AWD powered by a 2.7L H-6 with a 5 speed. It's hilariously fun to drive even though mine is a total bomb. Runs great though. I wonder how many people notice that pistol grip shifter? I would absolutely love to have one in mint condition some day.
Whew. just finished adding a few new things to my pickup. New Moller pro-comp small cap distributor, new MSD blaster ignition coil, and a new plate to mount all of the equipment in the engine bay. (ignition amp, coil, fuse boxes, etc.) Fun stuff. Oh, and a brand new set of plug wires all around.
New spark plug wires, but no new spark plugs? Disappoint. [sp]I have no idea what I'm on about[/sp]
Brand new plugs when I built the engine up. the engine hasn't even gone five miles or ran for more than probably two hours since I rebuilt it. It will be drivable after a little more wiring later tonight, but its fucking hot out right now.

I guess me and mortician are the only ones who like the SVX interior, I think it looks pretty good.
I guess me and mortician are the only ones who like the SVX interior, I think it looks pretty good.
I'm probably the only person on this forum who loves obscure, strange, japanese cars anyway. I've owned a lot of different cars, and drove a lot of different ones, and those always end up being the most fun to drive.
