I'm probably the only person on this forum who loves obscure, strange, japanese cars anyway.
I like most cars with great handling, but when you need a manual to adjust the temperature of climate control, then there's a design flaw.

Turn the system on or off with the auto or off button. If you can't figure that out, you're retarded.
The layout just seems too complex for such a simple system :/ Then again, I'm used to older European and newer Japanese cars.
It's 10x more simple than multiple knobs, sliders, vent selections, and all that garbage. You just set the temperature you want, and it maintains it. Auto to make use of the AC, econ to prevent use of the AC, Def for the defroster, vent for the vent, circ for circulating the air in the car... The 3 lower right hand buttons are for manually setting the fan speed if you're unhappy with where it automatically sets it. The outside temp button tells you what temperature it is outside, briefly. It's just different, not necessarily complicated.

I had to move this Mazda speed Miata from our new car store to the used car store about a mile away. Seriously quick little car.
I ask this out of curiosity. :) But wwwwwwwwhhhhhyyyyyyyyyy do your family need a car of this size?!
Well, we are a family of four and we travel quite a bit. Most of the time we take my other sister and stepsister on the road along with us, besides, it's very comfortable and we normally have a lot of luggage. My parents refer to it as "the tank." Thanks for the comments on the 280Z, but the picture I posted isn't the one we have. [editline]10:21PM[/editline] And it's a Datsun, not a Nissan. Year 1977 I believe.
you're late, i posted catbus in last thread foo
Are you not late for quoting it?
oh dear is that a non turbo supra?
Yep. I wouldn't complain if I was him. It's his first car ever and he's 18, but he's planning on selling it in a year or maybe two, and get a 2JZ-GTE. Here's a vid of it, it's in absolutely mint condition:
does it move under its own power? bodywork and paint is easy.
Well, he's had it since I was about one years old. The gray on it is only the Primer, even though I really liked the color scheme when I was little. He had to leave it at my grandpa's house (That driveway) when we lived in Philadelphia, and wasn't able to repair it at the time. Now, we're back in NYC, and yesterday he removed the battery and another part, currently recharging the battery and seeing into replacing... that other part (Forgot the name, but it starts with an A if that helps.). Right now, he's going to try and make it sunburst orange, with a white stripe down the middle. As time progresses, he plans on restoring it entirely. He won't let me have it :l [editline]09:05AM[/editline]
hi friend (:
Badass, man. How long have you had it?

Look at that sexy ass steering wheel Everybody who disagreed are american muscle loving faggots. Jsust kidding. I have an Arrington engines HEMI catalog sitting on my desk. Doesn't get much more american than a hemi. http://www.arringtonengines.com/
The moral of todays story, children, is when your building a new engine, ALWAYS CHECK FOR FUCIKNG VACUUM LEAKS. Fucking damn. Been screwing with my truck all weekend, trying to get it to idle right. It did not run without giving it an excessive amount of throttle, and then idled with a loapy, lumpy kind of idle, like you get out of a huge cam. after screwing with it for two or three days, I noticed a nice open port on the back of my air intake. Yup. Fixed it. Damnit.

hard to find when theres a inch and a half thick wiring harness covering it, mate. and the vacuum levels were fine, running 17 inches of vacuum when the plug was missing. the two-three days also included rewiring the ignition system, switching to a small cap distributor, installing an ignition coil, fabricating a plate to mount the coil and ignition amplifier, replacing/regapping my spark plugs, and installing a tachometer.

I've always liked the Eclipse for some reason. Not sure why.

Ugh. That GT90 concept still looks horrible to me. In no way does that resemble the legendary GT40.
The GT90 is an abomination.
Just got the title for my Trans AM today :v:
