I kind of like it, but it's way too polished in that picture.
All supercars blend into each other for me.
I came back from a camping trip to wales the other day to find a friend had taken an unintentionally awesome pic of my car. I got a more experienced photographer friend to edit it and turn it into a wallpaper for me (since I'm going to uni in a matter of weeks without her :[ )
So... Who's into rally?
I watch when I can, I don't really follow it though.

You're going to Uni? What is your age, if you're the typical 18 - 20 age then how the hell can you afford a Focus of that age?! :O

You don't know anything. Your saying your going to install a supercharger on a rotary. Go to your local craigslist and find a beater.

The engine has 160k miles, most FC5S cars don't make it past 120k. It's going to die soon. Mine was a 1990 and it went pop at 113k miles and I drove it easy. It's a high compression engine, you can't put a supercharger on it without getting TurboII rotors, unless you want it to blow up within a thousand miles. If you want a boosted rotary, get a freshly rebuilt TurboII. And always remember, you get what you pay for. Under $4k for an FC and you're looking at a "project" car, one that you won't be able to afford to do anything with. Just the dash controls for the headlights (which fail frequently) is over $400. It also looks like he's fucked up the suspension, as high as the rearend is sitting... That car looks like a nightmare.
Damn, all I wanted was a good looking and performing car that's not American
Get something people have a clue how to work on. Take my advice, I've owned a rotary since 2001. Nobody knows dick about them and you're stuck having to figure it all out yourself. If it's your 1st car, you will NOT figure these things out with a shop manual. If you want a decent car that's not a rip off look for something obscure.

And $3000 for an NSX sounds like BAD news to me. 2nd one is an RX7 again... Have fun with that. Who would pay $4k for that heap? 3rd one has a blown transmission, looking at probably $2k for a rebuild before the car is road worthy again. As for how did I know it was legit? Take the risk and see. Didn't really care if it was a project or not, I just wanted the car, but I had the money to do what ever with it anyway.
Oh, and I thought you guys might have wanted to hear of my latest endeavours to my familys scrap yard. Untertook the four hour, 250 mile drive this weekend to see if there was something fun I could find. got there saturday afternoon, didn't do much as it was four or five and I was tired from driving. Got up at 7 sunday, and went to work. I chose a 1989 Honda CRX as my target, as it has no body or interior damage short of a broken piece of particle board in the rear and a slightly dinged fender. Spent a day putting a fuel pump in it, runs like a champ. Great, theres 1800$ that I can buy from my grandfather for 300$. Then I went to see my uncle, who has a rediculous amount of shit spread over two shops and two pieces of property. I scored a 1984 20th anniversary Mustang GT convertible 5.0 liter HO 302 car, in damn great shape. needs a paintjob and vacuumed out. I also got my uncle to give me his little sandrail, but I have to find an engine for it still. the best part is he will deliver them all in a week or two for 100$. save me the trip and the gas. Anyways, that was my weekend.

I love that car to bits however. Today is my last day of insurance, I leave so soon. I'll miss it.
What are the red and black caps coming out the front fender?
If you mean cables, then they're likely power for the electric winch on the front for pulling the jeep (or other cars) out of bad situations, like stuck in a big mudpuddle.
What are the red and black caps coming out the front fender?
For charging the battery usually.

The caps on the fender. Never seen them before, I assumed the red and black means electricity. What's the purpose of having them there?
