My parents say to get a 4WD car because it's michigan and my mother is getting an impreza What a waste of a good car to a fifty-some woman who doesn't do shit other than take her car out to grocery shopping and work maybe I'll take it
I suggest that you drive that thing like a MAN!

Just got home from a car meet at a gas station. I don't care what any other people think, I want a Supra MKIV some day. Otherwise it looks nice, but that front radiator has been forever ruined now.
Just got home from a car meet at a gas station. The only exception I have to this rule, is the supra. Sure give me a charger or a TBird or a nice 355 anyday, but the supra can be such a wickedly fast car when tuned up, it's mental.

Broke mah fucken automerge. >:{ I drove an automatic the other day for the first time. I had to have my left foot firmly on that footplate thing, I kept heading for the clutch every time I braked. It felt so weird, yet it was so easy to drive (in the city anyway) the only thing lacking was any form of acceleration. Even with a great stamp on the accelerator all you got was a getle push from behind, like the accelerator wasnt *really* connected to anything. Then again I was only driving a rover 45 (it's my grandfathers).

On my car it jumps the RPMs to 2500 when you stop on it from a dead stop, before launching. It gets the power down better than a clutch. But yea I know the pain of going between a stick and an auto. My winter car is a stick and my summer car is an auto so it's always a bit of an adjustment between seasons.

It felt very distant though. I don't know why but there's something about having the gear changes that makes it a bit more as though you are in control.
The only good autos are flappy paddle autos, and that isn't saying much. But haing a flappy paddle auto is better than a flappy paddle manual apparently. FIT THE ROVER WITH A FLAPPY PADDLE AUTO BOX.
CVTs are the best transmission. No gear shifts that take up time and it's always at the optimum gear ratio. My 2008 Nissan Maxima would take 0.7 sec longer to 60 mph if it had a 6 speed auto instead of its CVT. It'd probably have worse gas mileage as well. [editline]12:26PM[/editline] and way way less parts to break. and smoother. and instant power response. I've driven a Ford Thunderbird, Porsche Cayenne, and Audi A8L that all were supposedly faster than my car, and they felt underpowered.

The new Maxima's have a transmission (CVT) mode that puts in fake shift points. I haven't tested it but I would think it's slower. Some people like to push the paddles though, and feel jerkiness. Jerks.
There is no good auto, I hate it when you have to wait a second for the stupid car to downshift whenever you stomp the accelerator or when it can't make up it's mind on what gear to be on.
Yeah the SLR's automatic sucks as well, it's totally not designed to be fast. :downs:
I know it's still fast, I've been in an automatic vette and it's fast, but I still don't like how you aren't in complete control of the car. It's a sports car not a minivan.
I don't like cars
I don't like cars
Then get the fuck out
I'm not even here you idiot.
I'm not even here you idiot.
Lies and Slander.
I hate in my truck when I'm on the highway I'll be going 74-75 and the truck's just buzzing away because it doesn't know if it should shift or not..
Some drunk some of a bitch threw a beer bottle out of his car's window while I was on a TF2 Snackage Run just now. Called the cops on his ass.
I got insured for £700.
How the hell did you get it insured that cheap?!
I could use that info.
Tell us! Tell us! Tell us Cypher!!!
he chopped off his penis
I'd rather have high insurance rates thanks.
So it took me about 2-3 months to finish the left front brake on my camaro, and then i started the right one and finished in 3 hours. :v: I also hooked up the oil pressure gauge and apparently 50 pounds is good so I don't have to rebuild the engine (: [editline]08:35PM[/editline] about the camaro, does anyone know how I would go about finding out what the max RPM is for the engine? all i know is that it's a chevy 350 with a bunch of aftermarket shit the previous owner put in.
Best one yet.
