Holy shit. It's $4000 annually for my car which is actually considered a lot (with new driver and a muscly V8).
They just wouldn't insure a new driver with a V8 muscle car over here! The best I've seen so far is £2100 ($3 338.58 ) a year to insure a 17 year old on this... Car rolls over to 74000 miles today, or will on my way to work, it's at 73998 or there abouts.
Car rolls over to 74000 miles today, or will on my way to work, it's at 73998 or there abouts.
What is the car? Sounds quite reliable! Toyota Hilux? :P
What is the car? Sounds quite reliable! Toyota Hilux? :P
74k isn't that much. My 4 year old focus has 58k on the clock. Well maintained older American muscle cars are good for in excess of 150k miles.
My 94 nissan pathfinder has nearing 150k and runs great. only problem is my muffler being shot, but that isn't a mechanical problem.
Blaster, for serious. Pressure washer, your intercooler. They need to meet. :derp: I don't pay crap for my huge "slow" SUV.
There was a giant dragonfly pasted to it and I had to scrape it off.. it was pretty crunchy.
Going on 250,000 with a '93 Toyota Landcruiser. No real engine maintenance done either.

Friend has a fox body mustang with 350k on the clock, and he revs it to the rev limiter every day from a cold start. My subaru is supposedly fine past 300k if the transmission is taken care of.
I'll almost guarantee that a fox body has a rebuilt engine.
I'll almost guarantee that a fox body has a rebuilt engine.
His isn't. It's unusual I know. It smokes a tiny bit but it's not blown yet.
Going on 250,000 with a '93 Toyota Landcruiser. No real engine maintenance done either.
I've bolded the important bit. Those things just won't die. Ever.
Toyotas are indeed amazing. My dad has an 85 turbo diesel pickup, and even with a cracked head still runs great. just overheats if driven for too long. and finding a head for a turbo diesel pickup in the states, let alone anywhere, seems to be a TOTAL BITCH. It's not that impressive is it really? It's not ugly or anything but it just looks really run of the mill
It's not that impressive is it really? It's not ugly or anything but it just looks really run of the mill
Yeah it's condition isn't very good. But the model itself is very rare (here in Denmark atleast). I'd really like to have one, I could take good care of.
I'm amazed at how the bottom half isn't rusted off about now

The Ferrari 458 Italia looks pretty good to me.
I'm more of a Lambo guy, but with an improvement on the headlights it would look awesome.
