Black community? What?
His behavior is consistent with that of a paranoid schizophrenic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paranoid_schizophrenia
So we have two possible explanations:
1. He was an undiagnosed paranoid schizophrenic.
2. There is a massive (but inept) government conspiracy that involves space aliens and killed him.
So, how do we decide which one of these is more likely? There's a couple ways. Firstly, we can apply Occam's Razor, and choose explanation 1 since it's clearly simpler. But Occam's Razor isn't infallible. A better way is to ask ourselves whether there's a precedent for this sort of thing happening. Is there a precedent for the U.S. government assassinating its own citizens? Yes, although it's very uncommon. Is there a precedent for a global conspiracy on this scale? No. Is there a precedent for aliens coming to earth? No. Is there a precedent for paranoid schizophrenia going undiagnosed and unmedicated and leading the victim to believe all sorts of outlandish things? Yes! This happens all the time!
So we can conclude that, in all probability, explanation 2 is correct.
It's at this point in time that I reserve further comment until I've gathered the energy to care enough to argue on with you guys. Although TH89 all I'll say is occam's razor is a double edged sword and you've got to think about it from an outside point of view to get the big picture. There is a precedent for these secret groups on a global scale. It is documented fact.
Also, I'd like to point out to you all that everything I reference in Behold a Pale Horse has sources to back up my references. The book is not spouting nonsense without backing up it's claims, saying otherwise is plain bullshit.
That said, I will entertain your Occam's Razor argument to show you how it can just as easily be used against you:
1. He went through years of physical, mental, emotional and psychological military evaluation, had no family history of mental illness... Yet somehow that whole time managed to make it through 3 seperate security clearance upgrade evaluations. All the while being absolutely insane to the point of blubbering madness?
2. A series of secretive fraternal societies are using their influence to accumulate unchecked power slowly over time.
The former takes quite a bit of assumptions, whereas the latter is backed up by historical fact as well as documented evidence. Keep in mind, William Cooper's military service record is among the documents in that book and it is very real indeed.
That said, I believe it is obvious that the latter of the two is more likely.

Not only them, but the Yakuza of China and Japan also despise the NWO goons, and they are well documented men numbering at around 10,000 give or take at the highest order. Whereas the Yakuza number 600 million, easily dwarfing and outnumbering them. The Yakuza have made a statement that if the Illuminati makes a move (like say kill obama or ron paul) then they will systematically begin assassinating the Illuminati.

No it isn't.

Nobody said he was "insane to the point of blubbering madness," don't make things up. And the military isn't exactly known for exercising due diligence in their psychological screenings. Plus he was never promoted above NCO, it's not like he was some kind of super secret agent.

You yourself literally looked up a book in reference to the first page I scanned which dated back to the 1700's and your telling me there is no history of these groups existing? It's documented.
His military service record is literally within the documents in the book. If you don't believe them I will literally show them to you and prove you wrong right now if that's what it takes to do it.
Oh yeah, this is probably nothing, but look what happens if you Google the place he allegedly trained at:

Yeah that struck me as a little odd.
So I looked it up on Wikipedia:

So the place itself isn't well documented, only the fact that the guy went there is?

Military training academies for Security Specialization isn't exactly going to pop right up on google. For god's sake use your two legs and get a hard copy from your local Borders or sit down and skim through it before you're going to make assertions as to this and that like you know the book cover to cover.
I'm pretty sure it was atleast 600,000 from the figure I read but hey let's not get off on an irrelevant point.

Try about 3 decimal places, as in ~599,899,999 people.

Honestly, after all the results for this William Cooper fellow, someone would've written something about the place itself.

This place most likely no longer exists. He had to have been trained in the 50's or 60's. Doubt it would still be around in it's original form/name and all that jazz.
I think most conspiracy theorys are dumb but I think that the people who think they are real are hilarious to hear go on and on about how the government is trying to benefit itself by attacking itself or some stupid shit.

...Why not? Even if it had been shut down, there would be some record of it on the internet.
Read through 9 pages. Never saw Otsegolation. Very disappointed.

The book referred to what was essentially a country club for progressives. It wasn't a global organization that controlled the world.

The interesting thing was that the author himself was part of a masonic lodge around the ages of 19-21. He said upon being offered a higher security clearance, his paperwork noted specifically to mention if he'd been a part of any 'fraternal organizations'. The society of which he had been a part of was listed, so he marked he had been a member. Around 6 months later he was promoted to the clearance at which he discovered JFK was assassinated by the driver of the car that day, among other things. When he had learned these things (mind you it was probably the 70's) he immedietly went AWOL. He states a close personal friend suggested for his best interest he came back and finished his job and left quietly. Well he did go back, and the information he came across is what composes the majority of the book.
[editline]5th May 2011[/editline]
He noted he wasn't sure if his past in the lodge had effected the outcome of his clearance upgrade, but in his opinion it had. He came across startling evidence that suggested these people were conducting, well, a silent war using quiet weapons. The document which described this war and it's weapons had been found in an IBM copier during a surplus sale, and it alone makes up the entire first chapter of the book.

I have other things to do then stay on the computer talking to people who believe anything they're told and call what they have blind faith in a fact.

Or he had a schizophrenic episode.
Also for the record I know people who are masons and could probably get in if I wanted. It's not like a huge whoop or anything.

So, how did they manage to take over the world if they're this incompetent? Giving an NCO clearance to their top secret documents because he was in a Masonic lodge one time, then accidentally leaving their entire secret plan in a copy machine at a garage sale? How do you reconcile this?
like i said
my grandpa is a mason
he says they hang around and drink
that's what old people do
Oswald didn't shoot Kennedy.

I wouldn't take anything as large as this at face value. If what you're saying is true, you need citations and credible sources. I would look further into news stories I questioned as well, which I do quite often. So don't tell me that I have just "blind faith in everything I'm told".

This is where you fail.
All it takes to sway your opinion is what you found there from googling something. And who wrote what you read? A human, which last time I checked, has the ability to write false statements on the internet.
Now if people were to control sources of information from which you learn from, you'd probably swallow some of their bullshit pretty often. But no, you'd assume the benevolence of the person giving you free information, or just think that you're too smart to fool. But the matter is, what do you really know for sure? Not a whole lot that's helpful.

I hate these conspiracies.
It's like what they are doing now over Osama's death. They say he's not dead, they said Prince was not dead, they said Michael Jackson went into hiding.
I hate waking up to seeing this shit on the news.

I hate to point this out again, but if there's really a group that is/was capable of taking over the entire world, would they honestly be so incompetent to let so much slip through the cracks or be discernable through symbols and what not that people like us could debate this so adamantly?
