I think America has quite some experience in creating threat images for their own interests (To justify actions or as propaganda) but no one can seriously say that 9/11 was a conspiracy.
Conspiracies do exist, but anybody who believes that they happen on large scales like 9/11 or that reptiles rule the world is clinically insane.
I still can't believe america let a fucking plane crash into a building full of people. Couldn't they just shoot down the plane or something? I mean come on, you pour billions into military and security, and yet you can't stop a civilian plane?
Thread for conspiracies? Fuck yeah.

The only place they could have shot down the thing without doing more damage is where most people could claim it was doing normal flying Edit: Wait, what the flying fuck are you on about? The plane being shot down over the city would have caused less damage in every sense, except for the claims of foul play
The government that killed Lincoln, Kennedy, and shot Reagan are now planing to resurrect Osama.

The results of which could be multiple fires, damage to buildings, unfortuate people getting hit by the debris, explosions, failure of electrical lines, damage to infrastructure, etc. Why did the Japanese use planes as the actual payloads? Because they can cause destruction and if you have a jetliner that holds more fuel and is bigger the damage would be severe.
So, you are going to believe every thing you hear and read? As if it is nothing but the truth? You will Assume that our government wouldn't lie to us?
The retarded thing about people like you is that you stress about people believing what they see on well established news companies however you all believe every bent little youtube video and badly written report on conspiracy theories.

I'd hazard a guess that if the plane blew up such that it hit more than the tower, the fuel wouldn't have weakened the supports, and maybe it would have only caused superficial damage, if my idea of what happens to a plane when it blows up is right. For me, it's a decision between collapsing the tower and having debris hit a bunch of buildings. But the plane isn't like solid metal, it's light. The Japanese used planes because they could target more easily. It's not because they cause more damage in themselves, they just packed them with as much explosive as a regular bomb

lol illuminati
I don't understand how these people get away with it! They can cause enormous amounts of grief, especially to victims of terrorist attacks :(
Conspiracy theories have some plausibility if you are in the right mindset. If we assume that there is a puppet master clique, we can assume that they do not care about anyone but themselves. The mere existence of a 'a few good friends' would mean that they would believe that they are smarter and better that the rest of us. They do not care about how many lives they affect as long as they are high and dry.

There's this little thing called critical reasoning, something you're probably not familiar with, but should probably give it a go.

Its how they get these insane theories created by using scraps of insignificant evidence that aren't even related to one another.

We're all Koreans, no jokes.
Am I right in thinking, that nobody would have guessed they were going to crash it into a building until it was too late?
A plane off course, flying too low over the city, heading for the towers. Sure it won't it, it will just barrel roll inbetween and fly to the airport.
My history teacher is a conspiracy theorist, and he's constantly trying to convince us he's right and we should be conspiracy theorists too.
A plane off course, flying too low over the city, heading for the towers. Sure it won't it, it will just barrel roll inbetween and fly to the airport.
It takes very few minutes you know when they are flying at 800km/h, to reach and hit the towers.
Am I right in thinking, that nobody would have guessed they were going to crash it into a building until it was too late?
Pretty much. Before 9/11, the monitoring of air traffic was divided between NORAD and the FAA; outside of US borders was NORAD's problem, inside was FAA. I can't remember the specifics anymore (I debated this with ShukaidoX quite a while ago, probably in one of the myriad 9/11 threads at the time), but they had serious troubles identifying and locating them when they turned the transponders off; they had to sift through hundreds of radar contacts. There's 2 types of display for air traffic controllers, y'see: Primary and secondary radar. Primary is populated by plane's transponder info; telling their name, speed, altitude etc. Secondary is just contacts detected by air radar. What they had to do was compare primary and secondary, match the transponder ones and find the contacts without their transponders on. Although; to NORAD's credit, when the FAA finally informed them, they were quick to respond; albeit too late.
