I'd say that's a fair price for the condition Whoops, does anyone know why Chrome breaks Imgur pictures? http://imgur.com/pvtRbPN
Well, hey the radio is brand new and so are the tires!

How the hell can you tell?? Jeez there's no way that wasn't a fatality I feel like.
Guys, it's my birthday and such, anyone wanna get me this? :c http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/4310733246.html
Its so wittle
Would this car be a good choice for a first car? I need something 4wd and i like the galant. http://www.finn.no/finn/car/used/object?finnkode=46899637&searchclickthrough=true
Its so wittle
The Spirit?! Not really, it's as long as a dodge pickup and weighs about 3000 pounds. Here's a ford in the background for a little bit of a comparison. [editline]13th March 2014[/editline] And one next to a big panther(?) platform car
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/ant/cto/4369898017.html Maybe... I'm thinking about getting a smaller car for city running. I'm sure there's more wrong with it than what he says but even so it's so cheap.

mm oh yeah I love subarus that have eaten fences
Speaking of subarus, I might be getting this. http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/4369057279.html Wheels are atrocious, and the oil leak might be a problem, but it's less than completely fixing up my Saab to pass inspection.

Subaru's usually don't leak oil, unless it is the headgasket. I can almost 100% guarantee it is the headgasket. Also it looks like it was abused to hell and back. Don't buy it.

But to each their own, just not my cup of tea.
I'm not saying it's pretty by any means, it's an ugly car. But when you can destroy the then-modern LT1 C4 Corvette in slalom testing, there's something to be said for quality of performance vs. price. It held the title of "Fastest mass produced four-door car in the world" at the time of its release, and costed around 17-18k. The C4 that it was dominating costed almost twice that in 1992, and most other vehicles it outperformed went well beyond THAT price range. The R/T snowflakes are indeed some of the ugliest Turbo Dodge wheels, though. I much prefer Pumpers, Centurions, Fiberides, hell, even the Crabs over the R/T snowflakes. A pretty car != a pretty damn fast car. If something's no fun to drive, what's the point in having it? I'd rather be blowing away mustangs and camaros at the stoplights in a car that looks as old as my grandfather than in some flashy supercar. It makes it feel so much more worth it. [editline]15th March 2014[/editline] Also still saying it's tiny when it's as long as a pickup truck, why? It's only 3~ inches shorter than the 5 series BMW at the time, which is by no means a small car. It's TWO FEET longer than my daily driver Civic (25.1 inches longer to be exact). It's far from a compact.
Looking at the pics in the ad on my phone made it seem about as small as a civic. :v: Actually, just the way it's proportioned makes it look smaller than it is. Also, Portland summed up http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cto/4373449424.html
I always liked the old subaru's. There are about 20 examples of 1980's to mid 1990's subaru's in my local junkyard. Many are loyale's. Most have no body damage what so ever. It's almost sad.
MMMMMMMMMMMM LEONE COUPE 4WD It's an '86 which means SOHC, I think I actually prefer the pushrod EA81 engines, just because... Well, pushrod flat four. How strange is that?! Just always a cool concept to me. Also, Subaru squeezed more power out of a pushrod flat 4 that VW did. So there's that.

Also those snowflakes might be ok if the inside bits weren't painted pink on the car in the ad....
I kinda feel like buying some kind of old rust bucket golf and slamming it, rusting it, and cut the exhaust just for fun right now. And of course putting some fucking deep dish trailer wheels on there with way to small tires!
Alright guys, tell me why this would be a terrible car to buy. http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/4346845058.html
Kinda harder to find parts for...but as a typical vw lots of aftermarket parts. Their engines work when they work and are amazingly cheap to rebuild when they don't. You couldn't go any worse when buying a car... I just wouldn't want it to be my DD during the winter...
The bad: Reliability, fiberglass body, reliability.
You're probably gonna work on it more than you'll drive it.
You're probably gonna love on it more than you'll drive it.
ftfy. It's just like a woman... you just gotta treat her right...
Just like the beetle? ;*
Just like the beetle? ;*
;_; She didn't give me a signal. She gave me the silent treatment... The belt poped and the gen light did not turn on. OVER HEAT CITY
Oh boy sounds like a fun car to own
The only time during these three years my Beetle has broken down, was when the brushes in the alternator were worn out. Even then I could push start it and drive it for 40 minutes back home. So it didn't even actually break down from that :v: What are these reliability issues you're on about?
