What do you guys think? I don't know a huge amount about older BMW's other than pre-1995 is the way to go.
Looks like Bosch Jetronic, stay a mile away as it will never run right the entire time you own it.
Despite having a capacity of 3210 cc, this engine appeared in many cars badged so as to suggest 3.3 litres of displacement, such as the 633i, 3.3 Li, and 733i. It has a bore of 89 mm, a stroke of 86 mm and a capacity of 3210 cc. In the E24 633CSi, it uses Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection.[5] The US version used L-Jetronic from 1978 to 1982, then changed to Motronic fuel injection in June 1982.
Yeah, unless you are a wizard in old Bosch F/I don't even look at it. I've tried to give my GF's brother a hand with a M10 E30 318i with L-Jetronic and it's literally like impossible to troubleshoot unless you have a complete working donor car and literally the best solution to any sort of issue with it is to convert it to a carb.
just do a 1.3 motronic swap, shouldn't be too hard to do as far as i know.

if i could pick up one of those for that price, holy shit i would.
[obligatory LS swap suggestion]

It is buzz lightyears car. Also why is he quirting a huge amount of caulking onto the window in the second pic?
Wow i'm actually considering on buying that MR2, somebody talk me out of it
Not a craigslist ad but a guy I know from car shows is a big Porsche and Volkswagen enthusiast and he's selling an all original Karmann Ghia. Not bondo, filler, collision, rust....basically it has a rough appearance but the functionality is perfect. He wants 3500 for the whole car and some original replacement parts with authentic german part #'s. Should I go for it?

Great, they made a '94 Mustang look cheap and Japanese :v:
Great, they made a '94 Mustang look cheap and Japanese :v:
So the only change was they made it look Japanese?
How does cheap shitty body kit equate to Japanese?

>"body is in great shape"
>body is made of bondo on one side
price seems decent enough.

One of the best of the ones I have seen, considering it replaces the gearbox which is slow in the auto mode of all roadsters. I'm not sure whether that also means that It broke for them.
The sump replacement is helpful though.
There's also this:

Don't know which one is better or not. Probably would have to go to a smart forum to find out.

Its a really attractive deal to me because I can afford it without sellling my daily driver, and still have cash for a new transmission if it needs one

The coupe version was never sold in Australia.
If you can somehow find the coupe version in Australia, I applaud you.

Ive been looking at buying some sort of hatchback for my first car. Ford Focus's seems to be loved by everyone for reliability and decent engines etc. Im probably gonna go look at this guy tomorrow:
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/4614808040.html
What does everyone think? I know nothing about cars pretty much, the ad description says basically nothing about the car and the pictures are terrible so idk. Il go check it out tomorrow.
I wanted a hatchback as a first but ended up with a sedan or two, and with a hatchback you'll run into the same mistake I did: Not enough room for hauling. Sure, I can attempt to shove a small desk into a sedan, but a hatchback? You'll be calling a friend up with a decently large vehicle and no other option. Reason my next CL pick is a wagon or pickup.
