Quote from the listing, "This is really one of a kind Skyline kit car. Some of the many tasteful changes to this vehicle include custom paint job unique in color even in the engine compartment, Lamborghini slide up doors, stereo system, veil side 1 piece body kit all around, tricked out dropped suspension." One of a kind and tasteful my ass, it looks like its out of need for speed underground or the original fast and furious, and not in a good way.

Strip the kit, sell it and buy the regular bumpers. The rear wing isn't awful. I'd probably keep it. Then you'd probably be ahead some money. Ditch the wheels too. Or just buy it and sell the whole thing at a rice meet.
I like everything about it other than the automatic and the kit. I'd toss OEM bumpers on, wetsand the headlights keep it the same color, keep the lambo doors and fix the rear end. Just a touch of tasteful rice, I welcome lambo doors on tasteful cars since it's a rather subtle mod but hilarious when you pop the doors. The rear end is all blended and shaved though, if it didn't have a wide body ricer kit thing I'd just toss an OEM bumper and tail lights on and love the shit out of it after getting it all painted back to that orange color.

I wrote the book on tasteful rice. It doesn't include whole grain.
Think about what you just said.
Personally I still find suicide, lambo, gulwing and scissor doors to be quite interesting when done to a vehicle properly. I don't jump on anyone boat about any of those, adds uniqueness to the vehicle because the vast majority of doors are very boring. [sp]I like suicide doors on frame cut mini pickups [/sp]
Any mod, done tastefully and in moderation, can look good.
Think about what you just said.
If you put lambo doors on your crown vic would you ever be able to tell that it has lambo doors? Are lambo doors gaudy awful cheap garbage poorly made retarded looking body kit parts? Are lambo doors put on a car because it was in a wreck and the owner bought the cheapest possible parts to repair it and then use walmart $1 spray cans to paint the car? Lambo doors are definitely a flashy thing but they are only different from other cars when you open the doors. Other than height issues, they're pretty functional too. Lambo doors don't make your car look like this. [t]http://www.bodykits.net/images/bodykits_net/163177/03.jpg[/t][t]http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/3/3457/1241/33640620016_large.jpg[/t] Those are rice, non-functional cosmetic modifications involving extremely cheap parts and usually will make the vehicle wildly unsafe or compromise other aspects of the vehicle like cut stock springs. Lambo doors themselves have nothing to do with rice IMO other than they are the wet dream of rice. I don't dislike crown vics because they are one of the most popular cars to donk out? I think lambo doors are kinda cool. They're the product of an era where people tried to make wildly different cars and actually spent upto tens of thousands of dollars just trying to make a car which is unique to them. Now I don't like their taste in design but it's all about the quality of work put into a vehicle and how well something is done as a overall unit. Lambo doors aren't a cheap mod either nor are they simple in design. They have no place on a ghetto, cut springs, dollar bin rattle can, stolen mismatched chrome wheels prelude. If you could find a clean shell to manual swap and part out the rest of that car you could make a damn nice car. Although if you could get it for more around 2300 it'd be worth it. Low mile early J series auto transmissions are also ALWAYS in great demand so you could flip that for like $600 or swap someone's for them for even more profit. Like seriously, if you were a little patient with forums and found the right buyer you could get $600ish out of them at least depending on condition. That J series would be a fun as hell project motor to swap into a Civic too, they aren't cheap to get your hands on either but that older one isn't a very desired one. The air suspension would also be quite fun. He's really not too far off how much it's technically worth but there's no damn way he's getting that much unless someone comes along and wants most of the parts he has.
