I hate when people say "ok considering age" which means "it's old so I can allow it to look like shit and charge you $2,000 for it"
I would never pay $2k for an 80s anything.
It doesn't even look bad.
One of those in that good condition would probably be more than double that price over here.

Wow one of the most rare / unique cars in the US and he completely ruins it by turning it into a run of the mill track machine. He could have stripped out any LHD car with similar performance for his track days. I don't even mind the performance mods actually, but why in the fuck would he completely strip the interior? Ridiculous.
They're amazingly built cars, kinda similar to how the early Lexus' were. The EGR is a liability and the headgasket design is weak with a blocked EGR causing the AFR to push 18 or 19:1. God help you if you wreck that transmission also, you'll never find another most likely. They also actually get really good highway mileage for an late 80's design V6 and make solid power, really well rounded car.
Tyson Hugie has a 532k mile 6 speed coupe and a 109k mile 2013 ILX.

That's pretty cheap for one SR5 (AE85) and one GTS-swapped (AE86) Trueno atleast with the tofu-tax
