I go skiing every week on the longest dry ski slope in south Wales (there's 4 of them in south Wales) in a slalom club. I'm shit though.
Skiing?

on a more serious note, i go skiing about once a year, im not very good at it. Pretty good at water skiing though.
Skiing is quite literally my favorite sport in the entire world. Shame I've only ever been once :smith:.
My parents always say it's too expensive for us to go, but hopefully me and a few friends will be going around January 2012.
If anyone could point me towards a cheap but good resorts and any good companies to book with (in the UK) that would be great.
Going again on the 18th, to Morzine in the French Alps, should be fun! I'm at about intermediate level and do a bit of the jumps and stuff if they are there, I always ask for freestyle skis if possible.

Andorra and the Vallnord resort is fantastic. It's made up of like 3 different areas that you can use on 1 lift pass.
Cheap ryanair flights to Verona, just hire a car and drive to Andorra.
Also the slopes are really varied, so would be great for someone who's only been once, plus the park at Arcalis is good.
