Huzza!
problem is that its not legal under federal law, which overrides state law.
The problem with that is, like they said in that 60 Min. video, it's too big to close down. The amount of people you'd be prosecuting would be tens of thousands.
Well, FUCK AMSTERDAM, IT'S COLORADO NOW!
i know what states im visiting during my USA road trip :))))
i know what states im visiting during my USA road trip :))))
I bet the US Ambassy will decline passports to people who wants to visit Colorado ahahah. We should legalize too in Europe, I'm so jelly of the United States.
someone posted that exact video on reddit. in the same thread
Does this mean you can grow without papers and no plant limit? Wait I'm quite confused, I thought medical marijuana was legalized there way back in 2000 with the ballot amendment 20 Oh okay it used to be legal to posses only within Denver city limits but now it's recreationally legal state wide sick
Does this mean you can grow without papers and no plant limit?
Lets sell hemp fuel, hemp textile, hemp paper, etc ... and get monies! We should start right now a company in Colorado who exploits everything with cannabis. Then, start to sell products worldwide, get lobbyists and buy politicians, legalize cannabis everywhere around the world, fuck the stock markets and the banks and own the world.

So, when will prop 64 take effect

I am definitely going to move to colorado one day now, after college..
The bad thing is when you go for a loan from a bank, because its federally illegal they can't give you a loan because they can be taken down by the government as a helper of an illegal substance. Per say the loan is used for making your weed store
Finally eh, time to get B.C legalized!
Federal government needs to go fuck themselves. No matter how many times the majority of people vote yes, those fucks are still gonna be as much as an obstacle as possible
Still trying to imagine what it'd be like. "Hey man, wanna smoke weed after lunch?"
"hey boss, I'm just popping out for a quick joint"
"hey boss, I'm just popping out for a quick joint"
I'd imagine it wouldn't be anything like this. You don't go to your boss and say "hey I'm gonna go hit the bar" on your lunch break. While it's legal under state laws, you can still get fired for being intoxicated at work.
(6) Employers, driving, minors and control of property. (a) NOTHING IN THIS SECTION IS INTENDED TO REQUIRE AN EMPLOYER TO PERMIT OR ACCOMMODATE THE USE, CONSUMPTION, POSSESSION, TRANSFER, DISPLAY, TRANSPORTATION, SALE OR GROWING OF MARIJUANA IN THE WORKPLACE OR TO AFFECT THE ABILITY OF EMPLOYERS TO HAVE POLICIES RESTRICTING THE USE OF MARIJUANA BY EMPLOYEES. (b) NOTHING IN THIS SECTION IS INTENDED TO ALLOW DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MARIJUANA OR DRIVING WHILE IMPAIRED BY MARIJUANA OR TO SUPERSEDE STATUTORY LAWS RELATED TO DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MARIJUANA OR DRIVING WHILE IMPAIRED BY MARIJUANA, NOR SHALL THIS SECTION PREVENT THE STATE FROM ENACTING AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF OR WHILE IMPAIRED BY MARIJUANA. (c) NOTHING IN THIS SECTION IS INTENDED TO PERMIT THE TRANSFER OF MARIJUANA, WITH OR WITHOUT REMUNERATION, TO A PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY-ONE OR TO ALLOW A PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY-ONE TO PURCHASE, POSSESS, USE, TRANSPORT, GROW, OR CONSUME MARIJUANA.
i don't get it, is this the actual thing and it passed and now you can legally smoke in colorado or is it some thing that got voted in that's gonna be voted on later? i dunno considering the progress cali has made and it being the epicenter of "legalize it" i'm kinda skeptical. if i were jelly you'd know, i got dat cali medical

The idea of the amendment is to regulate marijuana in a way that is similar to alcohol.
(3) Personal use of marijuana. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF LAW, THE FOLLOWING ACTS ARE NOT UNLAWFUL AND SHALL NOT BE AN OFFENSE UNDER COLORADO LAW OR THE LAW OF ANY LOCALITY WITHIN COLORADO OR BE A BASIS FOR SEIZURE OR FORFEITURE OF ASSETS UNDER COLORADO LAW FOR PERSONS TWENTY-ONE YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER: (a) POSSESSING, USING, DISPLAYING, PURCHASING, OR TRANSPORTING MARIJUANA ACCESSORIES OR ONE OUNCE OR LESS OF MARIJUANA. (b) POSSESSING, GROWING, PROCESSING, OR TRANSPORTING NO MORE THAN SIX MARIJUANA PLANTS, WITH THREE OR FEWER BEING MATURE, FLOWERING PLANTS, AND POSSESSION OF THE MARIJUANA PRODUCED BY THE PLANTS ON THE PREMISES WHERE THE PLANTS WERE GROWN, PROVIDED THAT THE GROWING TAKES PLACE IN AN ENCLOSED, LOCKED SPACE, IS NOT CONDUCTED OPENLY OR PUBLICLY, AND IS NOT MADE AVAILABLE FOR SALE. (c) TRANSFER OF ONE OUNCE OR LESS OF MARIJUANA WITHOUT REMUNERATION TO A PERSON WHO IS TWENTY-ONE YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. (d) CONSUMPTION OF MARIJUANA, PROVIDED THAT NOTHING IN THIS SECTION SHALL PERMIT CONSUMPTION THAT IS CONDUCTED OPENLY AND PUBLICLY OR IN A MANNER THAT ENDANGERS OTHERS. (e) ASSISTING ANOTHER PERSON WHO IS TWENTY-ONE YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER IN ANY OF THE ACTS DESCRIBED IN PARAGRAPHS (a) THROUGH (d) OF THIS SUBSECTION.
full text of the bill (if you're curious): http://www.regulatemarijuana.org/s/regulate-marijuana-alcohol-act-2012
That chain man... it just takes one thing to trickle to everywhere else
THATS WHAT THE COMMUNISTS WOULD SAY no but really most countries are on the verge of shifting their opinions and this could be the push they need
is it the same in Washington (the state)? cause i kinda want to move there. really bad.
is it the same in Washington (the state)? cause i kinda want to move there. really bad.
Regulated and taxed sales of small amounts (up to 5g) of marijuana for adults.
man i might actually move there then... i like rain, a lot.
Regulated and taxed sales of small amounts (up to 5g) of marijuana for adults.
It's up to an ounce according to the ballot
Well grab my balls and call me bingo I guess I read something somewhere wrong. Thanks for the correction.
So what like another 4 years until the rest of the states legalize it? Canada should be next the second the the R.v.Mernagh appeal case gets announced any time now.
dude fuckin cali deserves it. if it wasn't for cali we wouldn't have made so much wonderful progress. [editline]8th November 2012[/editline] i mean shit... my main medication would become a completely legal non prescription thing. wouldn't have to worry about reupping these retarded referrals
I wish I were three years older, then I could put Washington's law into effect. But at least it'll be easier to come by.
Fuck yeah. Now, if this works out, and more states start decriminalizing weed, i could see it come to Canada.
Now Wisconsin, please.
Fuck yeah. Now, if this works out, and more states start decriminalizing weed, i could see it come to Canada.
it's legalized, not decriminalized more states need to legalize
