After my last game I find i'm under prepared, for my birthday this year i'm hoping to get a sniper and i'm also thinking of getting this Gas pistol, http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_25_151&products_id=4812. Is it a good go?
You're going to buy someone to snipe for you?
whut?
No one to play with, else I would. I have a JG M16A2 that's collecting dust in my closet.
I can't post in the custom forum for some reason.
Garry killed all the custom forums.
I'd use my JG MP5SD5 for something other than plinking but the only people who play airsoft in my area are kids who think it's a good idea to be blasting each other in their backyards with CO2 pistols. Without protection.
Sorry of I misspell but I'm using iPhone to type this. I have a spring mp5 and I had an electric m16 but got too seirous in a game and butt bashed someone when charging an uphill bunker and broke the butt off then broke the guns cocking mechanism by cocking it too hard so it's now trash. I also had a cheap full auto Uzi but in a game of woods ball the clip where the battery was held fell out and I didn't notice till the game was over so that gun is trash too. I am gonna be buying a full metal m14 soon and will start up again

I wish I could get a sniper for my birthday. Does he do whatever you tell him, or is it more like one of those "name-a-star" sponsorship things?

If you get "TOO SEIROUS" and hit someone with your gun and "ACCIDENTLY" break it, then I don't feel sorry for you. And woods ball?
This isn't paint ball, get out.
Good luck with making the M14 last more than a week, I would never even let you near my house.
cough, ender
i've probably spent the most money on any single gun than anyone here
Paintball > Airsoft
Speedball specifically.
ok, you totally convinced me to switch from my complete WWII impression to a hot pink leotard and to swap my M1 Garand for a bright blue squirt gun with a hopper on top
This is gonna sound stupid but how bad does getting shot with an airsoft pellets hurt?
not really
depends on fps distance and weight and size of BB
generally if it's within like 50 feet it'll sting and leave a welt and any farther it might just sting. Anything farther than 125 feet won't hurt or anything

Oh wow, you're so much more hardcore than anyone here, what with the dress-up and the gun that shoots plastic balls and costs as much as the real thing...

So, it hurts less than paint ball?
Sorry for asking these stupid questions, i just like to informed. >_>
What I don't understand why anyone would pay like $600 for an airsoft gun, when they can actually get a real gun for that price, and even less than that.
Airsoft is fine, I just don't see why you would pay thousands of dollars for plastic guns.

Oh yeah, you won't have a mark on you if you've got at least a T-shirt on. Occasionally you get some asshole with a 450 fps gun unloading on people at close range, though, that can suck.

Okay thanks. Yay for not all people being jackasses on forums.

1. They aren't plastic
2. What the fuck are you going to do with a real gun (yay go to a gun range)
you can get a real gun for like $40 so they aren't even that expensive, you need a license, and you can't buy guns like SR25s/M60s/M1919s/M203s/ect

What is "an sport"? Is it a sport where people kill themselves or something?
What is "an sport"? Is it a sport where people kill themselves or something?
airsoft is an/a sport.
Kind of like paintball.
If you're too retarded and need me to have proper an and n usage because it somehow impairs your reading ability i suggest you don't come here.

I'm a jackass now? Alright, fine I'll call them "fake" guns then. I never said to shoot real people, I'm just wondering why you'd pay thousands of dollars for fake guns. Airsoft isn't a sport.

Target shooting, home defense, hunting, concealed carry, collecting. At least they're more useful than an overpriced shitty gun that shoots plastic BB's that couldn't kill a squirrel.

where do you get the idea that I'm saying I'm "hardcore"? you dress in paintball too, so what if it shoots bbs made of plastic? and where the fuck can you find a $600 M60 or $200 SR25?

(Not really an jackass, just an casual thing I do)
Airsoft is technically an underground sport. people form teams and such for it, events.
Just cause it isn't an legal offical sport by law doesn't make a bit of difference.

Airsoft is yet again, used for an sport or plinking/target range.

Have you ever airsofted?
Most airsofters consider it a sport.
On related note, I can't wait for my Y&P MK23
