You know, I think it's a good thing that we can laugh at jokes about 9/11. It's been ten freaking years. It's not exactly a traumatic, recent memory.
I mean, just look what else happened that year:
* Wikipedia was founded
* Mir is de-orbited
* Enron files for bankruptcy
* Dale Ernheardt dies
* Halo: Combat Evolved is released
* The song "Bodies" is released, eventually ruining many youtube videos
Jokes about the rest of those are so old that they aren't even funny anymore. I mean, Enron? Seriously?
Get some perspective, people. Yeah. It was a tragedy - I do not mean to belittle it. But laughter is the best medicine.
Dale Ernheardt died? Why didn't I know this? He's alive in all the NASCAR games since then. :v:
How about we roll back 2 days & post some dreamcast love?

Nostalgia, I'm gonna go play that now
Am I going to have to be the one to say it?
Any other day of the year, and I've seen you all do it, you'd be laughing at those images. I've seen it. Suddenly, though, it's the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and NOW the images are in bad taste, not when they were first posted mocking a tragedy on some other day of the year, OH NO, now that they're being posted on the 10th anniversary NOW they're offensive. Bear in mind that you've likely laughed at these images or others like them on some other day of the week before you complain about them being posted now, and know that it makes you just as much of an asshole as everyone else who's laughed at them, no matter the day, and calling them out of one specific day doesn't make you a better person suddenly, because you still laughed at some image at a point in time in your life that mocked a tragedy, whether it be this, the Tienanmen Square massacre, the US Napalm bombings in Vietnam, or any of the various WWII jokes, you laughed at a tragedy too, you're on better than that poster you're now wishing death upon.
Sincerely,
Another asshole like everyone else who's laughed at a tragedy, but realizes that he has no grounds to call out others for posting pictures mocking tragedies because he's found humour in them before.
It's because this is the one day of the year where we're supposed to look back and respect those who died.
Dale Ernheardt died? Why didn't I know this? He's alive in all the NASCAR games since then. :v:
You're probably thinking of Dale Earnheardt, Jr., another famous and popular NASCAR driver.
For the record, I only know this because I live in Bumfuck, America, and NASCAR is the regional pastime.

Thank god it's not 9/11 where I am, but I promise I'll respect the dead in 21 minutes
It's because this is the one day of the year where we're supposed to look back and respect those who died.
No it's not, you should be respecting them every day of the year, it being the anniversary doesn't suddenly mean that NOW you have to respect them, you should have been respecting them in the first place, we all should have. Today just marks the day it happened, and apparently the day people feel guilty for mocking the tragedy and feel the need to try and make up for their mockery.

Am I a bad person because I remember where I heard that Dale Earnheardt had died, but don't on 9/11?
Arm length and normal length, i love myself a wide baggy shirt.
When you're trying to find a shirt for when you want to be more formal, it's a complete nightmare to find one that fits just right unless you get one custom-measured for you. Same deal with pants.
At least for tall + slim people like me; I know that it's easy for an average-sized person to find the right size when all of the sizes are designed around the average body size.

Hell yeah. I loved that game.
Also, the voice acting was hilariously terrible
