Got prescribed oxytetracyclene for a red rash around my nose and forehead, it worked wonders first 5 days, almost completely clear skin. No spots, rash, redness anything, felt so amazing.
Now, 2 weeks of taking them, I feel so sick all the time, i've got a painful rash on my crotch (sic) and around my nose is red and slightly bumpy.
What a gyp, way to get my hopes up mr medicine.
I've been on that for a few weeks and the doctor said it can take months to fully work even though it has cleared mine up quite a bit. I have 3 months worth in my house :D

I didn't think about that, so maybe after the initial clear up, it'll improve again later?
You don't happen to have any rashes in unsavoury places as well do you? I'm not sure it's this stuff.
Mr problem isn't that I can't get rid of them. It's that I keep eating chocolate which gives me bad spots and shit.
I don't buy the stuff myself either it gets brought to me.

Nope and you should give it a while to fully work its magic
Everyone gets spots it's a part of growing up.
I'm 18 and I've never had spots...
Because you're not human.

Then you are very lucky.
Whatever you do if you go to a dermatologist don't let him talk you into taking "minocycline" antibiotic pills. They did not fix my acne and I have developed stomach problems that have practically made my life hell over the last 6 months.
I've got those, luckily not had any side effects, unluckily, they haven't done shit for my acne. Need to complain to him and get some different drugs!

You have to restrain yourself. I cant even remember the last time I ate Chocolate. Its hard at first but you will level off with it.

That's funny, because the sugar & spot relation is a myth.

id rather be ugly than have a dick in my mouth.
I got a little on my forehead that is caused by my hair, but the hair effectively hides it as well. Other than that I'm clean. It's weird, my family has like NO skin or hair problems.

I took them for about 8 or 9 months (around 500 pills) before the problems started, the doctor has diagnosed me with IBS and I missed a lot of school and got bad grades. And yeah they didn't do anything to my acne either.
If you get given antibiotics you NEED to keep taking them for as long as your doctor tells you, if you stop just because your acne cleared up it'll just come back a few weeks later.
Antibiotics can also take a long time to work on acne, so you have to be pretty patient. It's also important to make sure you don't miss any pills, even missing a couple of days can set you back weeks.
I have a shitton of these but I could care less.

I've taken antibiotics for damn years without them doing anything, mostly given up hope with them.
Just finished my acutane cure today (after six months). And it's also my birthday :D
Almost everything is gone (except for the scars)

Happy B-day, fgt.
Eat healthier.
The more oily foods you eat, the more spotty you will be.
You can get some Oxy pads too, they work, sadly whenever i use them my face swells up due to alergies so im forced into being healthy

You also unnecessarily bumped a thread that did not require a bump.
Wash your face with hot water, then wipe with a clearisel/oxy pad, 1-2 times a day.
I always seem to get them right under my noes...Painful when combined with a cough, and I get them on my chin - Shaving can be a bitch... =\

UPDATE:
Hey guys I got SkinID and ill be updating on how well my face looks per week.
When my brother stopped eating greasy food/stopped drinking soda, his face immediately cleared up. It didn't do the same for me, but it is worth trying. Along with the acne being gone, you'll tone up a bit. It's a win/win scenario, so why not try it?
