If you want to discover your tear sac capacities, watch Lost In Translation (2003), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) or Places in the Heart (1984). Worked for me.

Man that was a really good ending considering it's a show for kids.
They just don't make it like that anymore :(
I say this in pretty much every sad-related thread, but it's still a valid opinion:
Where the Red Fern Grows.

that actually made me tear up, just wow.
The ending of Men in Black III
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
All Quiet on the Western Front (1979)
Gladiator
Saving Private Ryan
Out of those, All Quiet on the Western Front is most deserving.
The Road
Léon the Professional
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was the first movie to make me cry. Toy Story 3 was the second.
American History X. The end especially just made me lose it and start crying.
Blue Valentine and (500) Days of Summer.
Eight Below.
Up :(
Well I just built up a nice list of about 6 films to watch.
Woops, didn't realise this was an old thread. Well I think its deserving of a bump.
