The 9gag community, they are so annoying they keep quoting the same stuff over and over again that really irritates me.
People will complain about, insult, or otherwise detract things they've never even tried or have any understand of. Most of the time just to spite those who do. How can you be happy being a grinch who can only get enjoyment out of ruining other people's fun/enjoyment?
how sonic the hedgehog characters are relentlessly fetishised by depraved deviantartists leave my childhood alone you sick fucks
The 9gag community, they are so annoying they keep quoting the same stuff over and over again that really irritates me.
9gag is known for reposting shit over and over again. It would be best if you just didn't go there.
I really hate it when someone posts something insensitive/close-minded/dumb, and other people will respond by criticizing or mocking aspects of the poster that has nothing to do with the current conversation, such as their physical appearance, join date, location, non-thread related interests, or avatar choice. It's just immature and has a good chance of making other people feel like shit by proxy.
I hate annoying image hosting sites like imageshack. When I click a thumbnail I'm always brought to a bullshit page and when I try to see the picture in full size it doesn't work.
I hate annoying image hosting sites like imageshack. When I click a thumbnail I'm always brought to a bullshit page and when I try to see the picture in full size it doesn't work.
This is what annoys me most about the 'do not show images' option here. Half the time the image you've decided you want to see just brings you to a page with at least 30 different image thumbnails, plus logos, ads, featured images, as well as the base image which takes longer to load than anything else on the page. So much for saving my bandwidth, not to mention the fact that 'do not show images' doesn't even block simple image variants such as [t] and [img_thumb].
How you can't punch people right through the tubes. Literally every problem with the internet would be fixed if you could punch people through the screen. Every. Single. One.
FANDOMS FANDOMS FANDOMS FANDOMS FANDOMS FANDOMS. I fucking hate Fandoms. Yes...yes you Supernatural fandom!
Inclined to agree, but I think the hate caused for them is really the vocal few who go out and attack others for their beloved TV show. I love Supernatural and watch it with my girlfriend, but we don't go stomping around the internet attacking people for not liking it.. Well, I know I don't. The hate isn't really for fandoms, it's for assholes who happen to like something. Edit, I also hate people on Call Of Duty or whatever game with a voIP who just instantly attack you for no reason. Then again, it can also bring people together. I met some really cool guys today because we all had a common hate for some 12 year old cunt in the lobby.
people who use autism and related things as insults
the internet gets boring after a while

A lot of the things said in this thread could be applied to society outside of the internet as well. Lots of scumbags in this world.

Isn't that right, Photobucket?
When you fuck up and make a fool of yourself in most internet communities, no one will NEVER. EVER. Let you live it down. Even when you improve, they still shit all over you with your past, refusing that you ever changed at all. Case in point: Many times on Facepunch. I also witnessed in another place someone just ditching their old account after such a thing, making a new one, and everyone accepted them just fine as a highly regarded new member of the community. But someone let slip that they were actually the person they all hated for [SOME_STUPID_REASON], and it instantly all came back, like the new account and no one even knowing, never happened. I also believe when these things happen, it holds back the progress of improvement as well. It really hits home for me because it has happened to me on a totally different website.
when asking a single question instantly marks one as an uninformed idiot who can't learn to use google, despite having used google before consulting others. when people label others unfamiliar with controversial issues as bigots, racists, etc instead of informing them. when someone that released an overhyped project thinks the download stats means they are exempt from any and all criticism despite obvious flaws.
I hate how people who don't type with punctuation are usually seen out to be either stupid or a troll, or not typing with punctuation makes someone's post or opinion invalid. As if how someone types is more important than the content of their post.

Being against the general majority opinion will get you fucked with, elitism

Goddamn what a dingus. Memes in DOTA would only piss people off like there's no tomorrow. I'm sick of memes. Or when new develop they get drilled into the ground.
I hate " Youtube Celebrities " people like, Ijustine, Tobuscus, PewdiePie, any overly popular Youtube channel. I don't really hate the people themselves, just the mindless senseless content that they spew out, and the fanbases, don't even get me started on the fanbases. Their fanbases will fucking send you death threats if you dare even criticize any little tiny thing about their beloved content creator.
Sure it's awesome of them to have such a great succes, but their fanbases really sucks ass as you said. I still watch Tobuscus from time to time tho, no hate please.
I hate GoAnimate. Why the fuck does that shit even exist?
GoAnimate videos are generally so bad that they're funny. my friend and I found them a long time ago when we searched random shit on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TP5n6jOAzzw&list=FLRneym3KVDfO2M8wzOJWY0g This one's my all-time favorite: [sp]all videos on goanimate are bad and if you use goanimate unironically you are a fool[/sp]
That the majority of the Atheists on the internet give sensible ones a bad name "omg im so sorry for your loss i will pray for you :(" "LOL UR FOKIN STUPED GOD ISNT REEL UR PRAYING IS JEST A WASET OF TIME" Wow, fuck off, if someone wants to pray to feel better and help others feel better, let 'em do it. Don't fucking shit all over them. I do not believe in God either, but, I know prayer is a coping mechanism and a way for people to spread their condolences in a way that many people can relate to. Whoever prays after a loss, I say, more power to 'em. It's not my duty to tell others what is and isn't real, and nor is it anyone else's. If they don't people shoving their religion down their throat, why do they shove their non-religion down others'? Disgusting. On top of that, people who insult and shit all over someone else just because they state they are Christian/Muslim/Buddhist/whatever, and absolutely nothing else. On second thought, this happens a lot in real life too, but not as much as the internet, the place of anonymity...
I hate this idea right here, this straw atheist boogeyman who exists somewhere. I have literally never seen this shit outside of r/atheism or pictures of people making fun of them. I also hate this straw fedora-wearing overweight "i'm in the friendzone" militant atheist idea. It's like a trump card that anyone can play to win an argument. "oh you disagree with a feminist? Is your fedora too tight you misogynist?" "oh you don't go to church? Is it because you wanna rebel against mommy you euphoric fedora atheist etc etc" it's bullshit and really all it is is internet nerds finding someone lower on the totem pole than they are and bullying the shit out of them/exaggerating what they do so they can feel better themselves If you want an example of this, look no further than any thread in SH that has even the slightest relation to feminism, LBGT rights, or religion. lots of "epic zingers" such as "lol is ur fedora 2 tight"

If atheists want to stop being stereotyped as angsty, fedora-wearing neckbeards, then they should stop fulfilling the stereotype.
