Next time you go to Ikea, get some meatballs there. Swedish meatballs are the best. For the curious, here's what is inside it that makes it so special:
the ikea meatballs are p. average. it's always better if you make them yourself
What would you recommend in terms of cooking in halls? I'm going to university this year and want to cook more than the erratic fry-onions-add-bacon-add-tomatoes-add-pasta things that I usually do. What's cheap and crowd-pleasing, in your experience, mike?

This is based on no uni experience as I haven't started yet. But how many non-asian people do you know who cook it.

I am middle eastern, and I approve this thread.
Man I wanna cook now, just think of all the original recipes I could create, I could really make any fucking thing I want. Cooking is awesome I'm just gonna say that.
omg i have the same knife set
I'm adding this as a favorite on stumbleupon. Thanks for the recipe bro.
I'm not very fond of lamb, but this recipe looks awesome.
I'm not very fond of lamb, but this recipe looks awesome.
nice lamb is superb. proper spring lamb is amazing. i still prefer beef, but it has to be very good beef.
I should try this... Need to stop eating the shit i eat.

Though I do see your point. And yeah you do need a wok really but a frying pan will have to suffice. Granted, it's never going to be as good as the chinese restaurant but it's still ok. Anyway, it's a nice change from the usual pasta/rice dishes I cook :v:
Damnit, why do all FPers that put out food related tutorials always have nice kitchens?
Damnit, why do all FPers that put out food related tutorials always have nice kitchens?
Because it's like that, and that's the way it is Huh!
im vegetarian....
Going out shopping to buy the ingredients, planning on making it soon. Thanks
o gods meatballs. These sound nice, but I'm scarred because of cooking meatballs at school. My partner put so much chilli powder into our sauce (not weak shit either, decent stuff.) We ate the meatballs, and our mouths literally bled. It hurt so much. And then the whole class tried some. That didn't end well.
these are awesome in italian wedding soup
Damnit, why do all FPers that put out food related tutorials always have nice kitchens?
I could do one in my less than nice but not horrible kitchen. [editline]07:06PM[/editline]
im vegetarian....
shun the non believer! Shunnnnnn!! Shunnnnnn
all the ingredients look nice separately, but for some reason the final result picture just doesn't do much for me.
Hmm, I might have to try this. To be honest, the only thing I can do is grill and make jerky, but I can learn. *gets an idea for a beef jerky thread*
Those balls sure are delicious.
I fucking love meatballs with tomato sauce and some cheese in a bequette
that looks fucking tasty
making this tonight but what the fuck is stock? It's not listed on the ingredients [editline]03:45PM[/editline] nvm it is vegetable stock But what the fuck is it? I've never heard of vegetable stock
just finished making, cous cous was lovely, the meatballs were a bit bland, just tasted like meat (maybe i should have added more flavoring? Sauce was a bit thin, added half a pint of stock
